Without Jesus . You are Going Somewhere but Nowhere !

At some point, every Christian has had a family member, a friend, co-worker, or acquaintance who is not a Christian. Sharing the gospel with others can be difficult, and it can become even more difficult when it involves someone with whom we have close emotional ties. The Bible tells us that some people will be offended at the gospel (Luke 12:51–53). However, we are commanded to share the gospel, and there is no excuse for not doing so (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15).
So, how can we evangelize our family members, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances? The most important thing we can do is pray for them. Pray that God would change their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). Pray that God would convince them of His love for them and their need for salvation through Jesus Christ (John 3:16). Pray for wisdom as to how to best minister to them (James 1:5).
We must be willing and bold in our actual sharing of the gospel. Proclaim the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to your friends and family (Romans 10:9–10). Always be prepared to speak of your faith (1 Peter 3:15), doing so with gentleness and respect. There is no substitute for personally sharing the gospel: “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17).
In addition to praying and sharing our faith, we must also live godly Christian lives in front of our friends and family members so they can see the change God has made in us (1 Peter 3:1–2). Ultimately, we must leave the salvation of our loved ones up to God. It is God’s power and grace that saves people, not our efforts. The best we can do is pray for them, witness to them, and live the Christian life in front of them. It is God who gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6).

Bible Verse and Prayer for Today
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
—James 1:2-3
“Hang in there!” There are few traits more important than perseverance — hanging in there. Most important accomplishments in life happen because of perseverance. Most “luck” occurs when we’ve persevered long enough for the “magical moment” to come along — in other words, I don’t believe in luck. Edison said it best: life’s most extraordinary feats, the world’s most significant discoveries, and his own most fantastic inventions are “1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.” Hang in there! Persevere! And do it with joy! Why? So you can see the glory of God come through for you and in you, not because of luck, but because of God’s grace, love, and power partnered with your perseverance!
Prayer
Unchangeable and Unshakeable God, help me to stand up and prove my character is true when I am under fire. Use the friends you have sent into my life and the power of the Holy Spirit to help me persevere. Please give me faith, courage, and endurance so that my life displays your enduring strength. And, dear Father, please help me find joy in persevering when under trial. I pray for these graces, in the name of him who remained faithful even unto death, and who, “for the joy set before him endured” and persevered through the cross! Amen and Amen

Bible Teaching of the Day
Contrary to the claims of atheists and agnostics through the centuries, man cannot live without God. Man can have a mortal existence without acknowledging God, but not without the fact of God.
As the Creator, God originated human life. To say that man can exist apart from God is to say that a watch can exist without a watchmaker or a story can exist without a storyteller. We owe our being to the God in whose image we are made (Genesis 1:27). Our existence depends on God, whether we acknowledge His existence or not.
As the Sustainer, God continuously confers life (Psalm 104:10-32). He is life (John 14:6), and all creation is held together by the power of Christ (Colossians 1:17). Even those who reject God receive their sustenance from Him: “He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous” (Matthew 5:45). To think that man can live without God is to suppose a sunflower can continue to live without light or a rose without water.
As the Savior, God gives eternal life to those who believe. In Christ is life, which is the light of men (John 1:4). Jesus came that we may have life “and have it to the full” (John 10:10). All who place their trust in Him are promised eternity with Him (John 3:15-16). For man to live—truly live—he must know Christ (John 17:3).
Without God, man has physical life only. God warned Adam and Eve that on the day they rejected Him they would “surely die” (Genesis 2:17). As we know, they did disobey, but they did not die physically that day; rather, they died spiritually. Something inside them died—the spiritual life they had known, the communion with God, the freedom to enjoy Him, the innocence and purity of their soul—it was all gone.
Adam, who had been created to live and fellowship with God, was cursed with a completely carnal existence. What God had intended to go from dust to glory now was to go from dust to dust. Just like Adam, the man without God today still functions in an earthly existence. Such a person may seem to be happy; after all, there is enjoyment and pleasure to be had in this life. But even those enjoyments and pleasures cannot be fully received without a relationship with God.
Some who reject God live lives of diversion and merriment. Their fleshly pursuits seem to yield a carefree and gratified existence. The Bible says there is a certain measure of delight to be had in sin (Hebrews 11:25). The problem is that it is temporary; life in this world is short (Psalm 90:3-12). Sooner or later, the hedonist, like the prodigal son in the parable, finds that worldly pleasure is unsustainable (Luke 15:13-15).
Not everyone who rejects God is an empty pleasure-seeker, however. There are many unsaved people who live disciplined, sober lives—happy and fulfilled lives, even. The Bible presents certain moral principles which will benefit anyone in this world—fidelity, honesty, self-control, etc. But, again, without God man has only this world. Getting smoothly through this life is no guarantee that we are ready for the afterlife. See the parable of the rich farmer in Luke 12:16-21 and Jesus’ exchange with the rich (but very moral) young man in Matthew 19:16-23.
Without God, man is unfulfilled, even in his mortal life. Man is not at peace with his fellow man because he is not at peace with himself. Man is restless with himself because he has no peace with God. The pursuit of pleasure for pleasure’s sake is a sign of inner turmoil. Pleasure seekers throughout history have found over and over that the temporary diversions of life give way to a deeper despair. The nagging feeling that “something is wrong” is hard to shake off. King Solomon gave himself to a pursuit of all this world has to offer, and he recorded his findings in the book of Ecclesiastes.
Solomon discovered that knowledge, in and of itself, is futile (Ecclesiastes 1:12-18). He found that pleasure and wealth are futile (2:1-11), materialism is folly (2:12-23), and riches are fleeting (chapter 6).
Solomon concludes that life is God’s gift (3:12-13) and the only wise way to live is to fear God: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (12:13-14).
In other words, there is more to life than the physical dimension. Jesus stresses this point when He says, “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Not bread (the physical) but God’s Word (the spiritual) keeps us alive. It is useless for us to search within ourselves for the cure to all our miseries. Man can only find life and fulfillment when he acknowledges God.
Without God, man’s destiny is hell. The man without God is spiritually dead; when his physical life is over, he faces eternal separation from God. In Jesus’ narrative of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31), the rich man lives a pleasurable life of ease without a thought of God, while Lazarus suffers through his life but knows God. It is after their deaths that both men truly comprehend the gravity of the choices they made in life. The rich man realized, too late, that there is more to life than the pursuit of wealth. Meanwhile, Lazarus is comforted in paradise. For both men, the short duration of their earthly existence paled in comparison to the permanent state of their souls.
Man is a unique creation. God has set a sense of eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11), and that sense of timeless destiny can only find its fulfillment in God Himself.
Today’s Devotional
The holiness of God is a critical facet of His character. God desires—even commands—that His people seek after His holiness (Leviticus 11:44). Emulating a lifestyle that reflects God’s holiness is so important that the writer of Hebrews urged Christians to “strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14, ESV).
In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8). People who desire to live in close fellowship with the Lord and see Him face to face must turn away from self-seeking, unholy interests. They must “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). Believers are called to become like God in His holiness (Ephesians 1:4).
The apostle Peter instructed believers to “live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, ‘You must be holy because I am holy’” (1 Peter 1:14–16, NLT). Without a lifelong endeavor toward personal holiness, no one will see the Lord.
God must discipline willfully disobedient children who live to please themselves. Throughout Scripture, God appeals to His people to work at cultivating holiness: “For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life” (1 Thessalonians 4:7–8).
The declaration without holiness no one will see the Lord reflects a sense of the author’s anticipation of seeing Christ at His return (see 1 John 3:2). This is the culminating point of the broader passage (Hebrews 12:22–29). If our ultimate goal is to be like Christ and see Him when He returns, our practical daily pursuit must be toward complete purity of thought and lifestyle.
We are the temple of the living God (2 Corinthians 6:14–18). In light of this revelation, the apostle Paul urged, “Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God” (2 Corinthians 7:1, NLT). Paul told Timothy, “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work” (2 Timothy 2:21, ESV).
We find a parallel idea to “without holiness no one will see the Lord” in these words from Paul: “For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God” (Ephesians 5:5). Of the future, glorious New Jerusalem, the apostle John said, “Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life” (Revelation 21:27).
It’s vital to understand that, as the Lord’s redeemed people, we are made holy through Christ’s finished work, the offering of His body on the cross (Hebrews 10:10, 14; Ephesians 1:4; 1 Corinthians 1:2). We are saved by Jesus “to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began” (2 Timothy 1:9, ESV). “He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5, NLT).
Sanctification is based on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the ongoing work of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Colossians 1:22; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; John 3:5–8; 1 Corinthians 6:11). Motivated by the knowledge that “without holiness no one will see the Lord,” we continue going all-out for Christ, striving to put on our “new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy” (Ephesians 4:24, NLT).

Seismic Activity Continues To Build Up Along The West Coast

This month, seismic activity along the west coast has been making headlines almost every single day. Could it be possible that all of this seismic activity is leading up to some sort of a really big event?
It should be obvious to everyone that the clock is ticking. I have been sounding the alarm about the potential for apocalyptic seismic events along the west coast for a long time, and now it feels like we are building up to some sort of a crescendo.
Unfortunately, most of the people living right along the west coast are still convinced that everything is going to be just fine.
Last Thursday, a “major earthquake” suddenly struck an area approximately 180 miles from the Oregon coast…
A major earthquake has struck off the coast of Oregon, sending shockwaves felt in multiple cities along the US West Coast with more quakes expected to follow.
The magnitude 6.0 earthquake erupted in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 180 miles from the coastline, at 10.25pm ET Thursday night.
This earthquake was so powerful that it was felt as far away as Portland, and it was followed by magnitude 3.1 quake.
But what is really alarming the experts is the fact that these quakes “took place along the Juan de Fuca Plate”…
This latest quakes took place along the Juan de Fuca Plate, which drives the Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) – a nearly 700-mile-long fault line off the West Coast of North America.
Scientists have long warned that the zone is overdue for a catastrophic event, with many nicknaming it the ‘Sleeping Giant.’
Simulations have shown the fault is capable of a magnitude 9.0 earthquake that would impact most of the Pacific Northwest, including major cities such as Seattle and Portland.
I have written countless articles about the Cascadia Subduction Zone.
The next time it produces a megathrust earthquake, there might not be any warning at all.
And when that happens, a “100-foot-tall mega tsunami” could suddenly come slamming into coastal towns and cities…
If an earthquake between 8.0 and 9.0 in magnitude struck today, scientists have estimated that the shockwave could produce a 100-foot-tall mega tsunami which wipes out most of the nearby coastline.
A 2022 emergency report from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) estimated that there would be over 100,000 people injured and over 618,000 buildings damaged or destroyed during the next major CSZ earthquake.
Scientists assure us that this is going to happen someday.
It is just a matter of time.
The day before the magnitude 6.0 earthquake off the coast of Oregon, a swarm of at least 40 earthquakes began in Southern California. The following comes from a Daily Mail article entitled “Dozens of earthquakes shake California where the earth is tearing apart”…
At least 40 earthquakes have shaken Southern California since Wednesday morning, with the largest reaching a magnitude of 4.4.
The US Geological Survey recorded the first quake near Holtville at 1:40am PT on Wednesday, with the most recent detected on Thursday morning.
Hundreds of California residents have issued reports of shaking to the USGS, and shockwaves were also recorded in Arizona and Mexico.
The city of Holtville is about 130 miles from San Diego, and it sits in an area known as the Salton Trough.
Geologists tell us that the Salton Trough is a place where the crust of our planet is literally “slowly pulling apart”…
Geologists describe the Salton Trough as a young, actively stretching rift valley, meaning the Earth’s crust in the region is slowly pulling apart.
This process occurs because the Pacific Plate is sliding northwestward relative to the North American Plate along the San Andreas system, while simultaneously, the crust in the Salton Trough is being stretched and thinned.
As the land pulls apart, it fractures along numerous faults, including the Imperial Fault and smaller subsidiary faults, producing frequent earthquakes of varying magnitudes.
We have all seen movies about what is going to happen to Southern California someday.
Sadly, “someday” may arrive a lot sooner than most people think.
The day before the earthquake swarm started in Holtville, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit Mendocino County in Northern California…
A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck eastern Mendocino County on Tuesday afternoon, shaking a rural area southeast of Willits, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake occurred at 1:10 p.m. local time and was centered roughly 6 miles east-southeast of Willits, the agency said. It struck at a depth of just under 5 miles, a level that can produce noticeable shaking near the surface.
Could it be possible that the Mendocino Triple Junction is waking up?
The Mendocino Triple Junction is considered to be one of the most dangerous seismic zones along the entire California coastline…
Off the coast of Humboldt County lies the Mendocino Triple Junction, where three of Earth’s major tectonic plates come together. South of this point, the Pacific plate moves northwest alongside the North American plate, forming the San Andreas fault. North of the junction, the Gorda (or Juan de Fuca) plate pushes northeast and slides beneath the North American plate, sinking into the Earth’s mantle in a process known as subduction.
Our scientists have always known that the Mendocino Triple Junction is a major threat.
But now they have discovered that there are “five moving pieces rather than just three major plates”…
The updated model shows that the region contains five moving pieces rather than just three major plates. Two of these pieces are completely hidden below the surface.
At the southern end of the Cascadia subduction zone, the researchers found that a section of the North American plate has broken off and is being pulled downward along with the Gorda plate as it sinks beneath North America.
South of the triple junction, the Pacific plate is dragging a mass of rock known as the Pioneer fragment beneath the North American plate as it moves north. The fault separating the Pioneer fragment from the North American plate lies nearly flat and cannot be seen from the surface.
The entire west coast of the United States sits directly along the Pacific Ring of Fire, and the past 12 months have been a time when the Pacific Ring of Fire has been shaking like crazy.
Of course the entire southern coast of Alaska also sits directly along the Pacific Ring of Fire, and it was just hit by a magnitude 5.9 earthquake.
And last month a magnitude 7.0 earthquake rocked the state…
A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has rocked Alaska on Saturday, Dec. 6, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake occurred at 11:41 a.m. local time in northeast of Yakutat, Alaska, the USGS said.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Yakutat had a total population of about 657 in 2020 and 332 housing units in 2023. Yakutat is over 300 miles from Anchorage, where the earthquake was also felt, the USGS’s interactive map shows.
Alaska gets pummeled by significant earthquakes so frequently that most of them don’t even make the news anymore.
But they should.
I think that seismic activity along the Pacific Ring of Fire is going to be a major theme in 2026.
Unfortunately, most people that live in the most dangerous areas will not take the threat seriously until it is too late.

Hidden Bibles & Forbidden Heroes: Schools Are Silencing Voices They Don’t Like

Two incidents, separated by more than a thousand miles, reveal a deeply troubling pattern in America’s public schools. In Washington state, a school district allegedly buried Christian expression under layers of paperwork and humiliation.
In Kansas, a classroom exercise designed to help children “find their voice” became a lesson in which voices were acceptable–and which were not. Together, these cases expose a growing reality: when faith or unfashionable viewpoints enter the schoolhouse, neutrality often disappears.
In Everett, Washington, the public school district is now facing a federal lawsuit for what civil rights attorneys describe as open hostility toward LifeWise Academy, a Christian nonprofit that provides voluntary, off-campus Bible instruction during released time. The program, which operates nationwide, is fully compliant with long-established Supreme Court precedent. Parents must opt their children in. Instruction occurs off school property. No taxpayer funds are used.
et according to a lawsuit filed December 18 by First Liberty Institute and Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, Everett Public Schools treated LifeWise as something to be suppressed rather than accommodated. School officials allegedly barred the group from participating in community fairs, prohibited them from placing informational flyers alongside secular organizations, and imposed a uniquely burdensome policy requiring parents to submit new written permission slips every single week.
Most alarming, elementary students participating in LifeWise were reportedly instructed to keep their Bibles and religious materials “sealed in an envelope” and hidden inside their backpacks. The message to children was unmistakable: your faith is something to conceal.
The lawsuit further alleges that a school board member openly admitted to holding “animus” toward the Christian program–a word that carries constitutional weight. Government action motivated by hostility toward religion is not merely inappropriate; it is unlawful.
While Everett’s approach relied on bureaucracy and administrative barriers, a classroom in Eureka, Kansas offers a more direct example of ideological silencing.
At Marshall Elementary School, sixth graders participating in a project called “Find Your Voice” were asked to write about their heroes. The assignment, led by guidance counselor Kacey Countryman, was meant to encourage self-expression. Instead, it became an exercise in exclusion.
According to parents interviewed by KWCH, one student named Charlie Kirk as a hero. The teacher reportedly became visibly uncomfortable and told the child that Kirk was not a hero. Another student mentioned President Donald Trump, prompting what parents described as an enraged response. The teacher declared that political figures were not allowed.
Then came the clearest line of all. When a student wrote “Jesus Christ” as a role model, the teacher reportedly said religious figures were also forbidden.
Children went home confused and upset. Parents complained to the school board. Rather than resolving the issue, the situation escalated. The families are now represented by the American Center for Law & Justice, which has filed a federal discrimination complaint with the U.S. Departments of Justice and Education.
According to ACLJ, the school attempted to justify the bans by claiming that allowing discussion of Jesus, Charlie Kirk, or President Trump could create an “unsafe” environment or provoke disagreement.
This rationale should alarm anyone who values education. Disagreement is not danger. Exposure to differing viewpoints is not harm. Suppressing speech because someone might object is what the Supreme Court has long called a “heckler’s veto”–and it is unconstitutional.
The situation worsened when, following a supposed apology, Principal Stacy Coulter reportedly addressed the sixth-grade class and instructed students that future concerns should be brought to school officials, not their parents. Multiple students recalled the principal stating that the school should also be considered their family.
That statement alone reveals the heart of the issue. When schools position themselves as moral gatekeepers and discourage parental involvement, education slips into indoctrination.
In both Washington and Kansas, the pattern is the same. Christian expression is treated as a problem to be managed. Unpopular viewpoints are labeled “unsafe.” Bureaucracy and authority are used not to educate, but to control.
These are not isolated incidents. They are symptoms of an educational culture increasingly uncomfortable with faith, tradition, and dissenting perspectives–especially when voiced by children.
Teaching students how to engage respectfully with ideas they may not share is one of the core purposes of public education. Teaching them to hide their Bibles, censor their heroes, and bypass their parents is not.
This is not about protecting kids. It is about shaping them.
And when schools decide which voices are allowed to be heard, the lesson students learn is clear: speak only what those in power approve.
That is not education.
It is indoctrination.
Netanyahu vows unprecedented retaliation if Iran (Magog) strikes Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran on Monday that any attack by the Islamic Republic on Israel would draw a retaliation of unprecedented intensity that would leave its mark on the Iranian regime.
Netanyahu addressed the Knesset plenum following remarks by Opposition Leader MK Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) as part of a “40 Signatures” discussion.
Lapid used his address to criticize the Netanyahu government over the spate of violent crime in the Arab sector, Turkish and Qatari involvement in the administration of the Gaza Strip, Israel’s loss of international prestige, and the high cost of living.
Netanyahu, Lapid said, “will be replaced by someone who knows how to manage a country. Three years ago, the State of Israel was a managed project. It was a country that was managed much better than now. That’s not just talk, it is [backed] in facts and figures. Three years ago, I was prime minister, and the life of Israel’s citizens was better.”
The prime minister responded by accusing the Lapid-Bennett government of ending the oversight of government spending in Arab communities, allowing “organized crime groups to take over local authorities.”
Netanyahu then touted Israel’s military achievements against Iran and Iranian-backed terrorist proxies.
“We are changing the face of the Middle East,” Netanyahu said. “We are courageously contending with the barbarians that seek to destroy us, and are simultaneously working to fulfill opportunities for peace.”
Regarding Iran itself, Netanyahu said that Israel supports the ongoing anti-regime protest movement, and warned that any attack by Iranian forces on Israel would draw a response “with might that Iran has not seen before.”
“We are closely following what is happening in Iran. We are all looking with a sense of wonder at the heroic struggle of Iran’s citizens to achieve liberty, welfare and justice. We see the atrocities of the massacre ordered by the rulers of Iran.”
“If Iran makes the mistake of attacking us, we will act with might that Iran has not seen before. No one can predict what tomorrow will bring in Iran, but one thing is clear; no matter what happens—Iran will not return to being what it was.”

Catholic Church Condemns Christian Zionism as “Damaging Ideology” That Threatens Church Unity

The institution that declared Jews collectively guilty of deicide, that forced Jews into ghettos, that presided over expulsions and forced conversions, now objects to Christians who read their Bibles and conclude that God’s covenant with Israel remains intact.
