You can’t Battle satan with False Doctrines.

The belt of truth is the first piece of the “full armor of God” to be listed in Ephesians 6:10–17. The passage begins with the admonition from the apostle Paul to “be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” This is the key to understanding the armor of God. All the pieces of the armor belong to Him and come from Him. Truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, and salvation—all are gifts of God to His people for their defense. All except “the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God” (verse 17) are defensive in nature. All are designed to help us “stand against the schemes of the devil” (verse 11). The belt of truth is the first part of the armor listed because, without truth, we are lost, and the schemes of the devil will surely overpower us.

It is fitting that the belt of truth is the first piece of the whole armor of God. Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we come to God. Therefore, truth is of the utmost importance in the life of a Christian. Without truth, the rest of the armor would be of no use to us because we would not have the Spirit of truth (John 15:26).

In referring to the whole armor of God, Paul invokes the image of a soldier ready for battle. The belt of a Roman soldier in Paul’s day was not a simple leather strap such as we wear today. It was a thick, heavy leather and metal band with a protective piece hanging down from the front of it. The belt held the soldier’s sword and other weapons. The belt of truth of the spiritual armor holds the sword of the Spirit, linking truth and the Word of God (cf. John 17:17). The Word of God is truth.

Depending on the translation of Ephesians 6:14, we are to fasten the belt of truth around us (ISV), buckle the belt around our waists (NIV), gird our waists with truth (NKJV), or gird our loins with truth (NASB). No matter the wording, we are to actively lay hold of the truth and use it. The belt of truth is a crucial piece of defensive armor guarding our inmost being in the battle against the lies and deceptions of the enemy. Without an understanding of truth, we are left vulnerable to being “carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming” (Ephesians 4:14). The belt of truth protects us and prepares us for the battle that is part of every Christian’s life.

Bible Teaching of the Day

We have no excuse to reject Jesus.

n Matthew 12:42, Jesus says, “The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.” Jesus directed these words at the unbelieving Jewish authorities who rejected Him and demanded a sign (verse 38). Jesus had already performed many signs, and their asking for another revealed their unbelieving hearts. To drive home that point, Jesus contrasted the unbelief of His generation with the faith of previous generations.

Jesus stated that Nineveh would condemn the unbelievers of His generation on judgment day because they repented at Jonah’s preaching—and Jesus is greater than Jonah (Matthew 12:41). He then said the same about the Queen of the South, traditionally identified as the Queen of Sheba (cf. 1 Kings 10:1–13). The queen honored Solomon, traveling great distances to hear his wisdom—and Jesus is greater than Solomon. Far from honoring Jesus, the Jews actively opposed Him and heaped dishonor upon Him.

Jesus is greater than Solomon in every way. As the Messiah who was predicted in the Old Testament (Genesis 49:10; 2 Samuel 7:12–13, 16), Jesus governs a larger, more prosperous kingdom. Solomon’s kingdom was rich in earthly treasures, but Jesus’ kingdom has infinite value. Solomon’s kingdom had physical boundaries, but Jesus’ kingdom will extend over the whole world. Solomon was wise, but Jesus embodies “all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). Solomon had authority, but Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16).

The Jewish leaders had the Scriptures, and those writings clearly pointed to Jesus (see John 5:39). The Jewish leaders’ rejection of Jesus came from rebellion and religious pride, which Jesus condemned. As the one who is greater than Solomon, Jesus offered something far superior to the greatest gift of any earthly king. Tragically, by rejecting Jesus, the Jews turned away from Wisdom incarnate (see 1 Corinthians 1:30). The Queen of the South would rightfully condemn that generation. They were without excuse, having rejected something greater than what she risked so much to obtain. The generation of Jesus’ time encountered God in the flesh, yet they turned away.

The Jewish leaders should have been the first to recognize and celebrate their Messiah. Their rejection of Him was grievous and tragic beyond measure. The two examples Jesus gives of those who will condemn the unbelieving Jews on judgment day were Gentiles. The Ninevites and the Queen of Sheba had the proper response to God’s message. Foreigners were coming to God more readily than God’s own people. To reject Jesus is to reject God (Luke 10:16).

Just as the Jews in Jesus’ day, we have privileges that people in the past did not have. The gospel has spread wide, sparking transformation and changing lives everywhere. We have access to storehouses of truth and the testimonies of countless believers. We, like the people of old, have no excuse to reject Jesus.

Jesus is in elke opsig groter as Salomo.

Today’s Devotional

Are you hungry? Not physically hungry, but do you have a hunger for something more in life? Is there something deep inside of you that never seems to be satisfied? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty” (John 6:35).

Are you confused? Can you never seem to find a path or purpose in life? Does it seem like someone has turned out the lights and you cannot find the switch? If so, Jesus is the way of salvation! Jesus proclaimed, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

Do you ever feel like you are locked out of life? Have you tried so many doors, only to find that what is behind them is empty and meaningless? Are you looking for an entrance into a fulfilling life? If so, Jesus is the way of salvation! Jesus declared, “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture” (John 10:9).

Do other people always let you down? Have your relationships been shallow and empty? Does it seem like everyone is trying to take advantage of you? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me” (John 10:11, 14).

Do you wonder what happens after this life? Are you tired of living your life for things that only rot or rust? Do you sometimes doubt whether life has any meaning? Do you want to live after you die? If so, Jesus is the way of salvation! Jesus declared, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25-26).

What is the way? What is the truth? What is the life? Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

The hunger that you feel is a spiritual hunger, and can only be filled by Jesus. Jesus is the only one who can lift the darkness. Jesus is the door to a satisfying life. Jesus is the friend and shepherd that you have been looking for. Jesus is the life—in this world and the next. Jesus is the way of salvation!

The reason you feel hungry, the reason you seem to be lost in darkness, the reason you cannot find meaning in life, is that you are separated from God. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned, and are therefore separated from God (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23). The void you feel in your heart is God missing from your life. We were created to have a relationship with God. Because of our sin, we are separated from that relationship. Even worse, our sin will cause us to be separated from God for all of eternity, in this life and the next (Romans 6:23; John 3:36).

How can this problem be solved? Jesus is the way of salvation! Jesus took our sin upon Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did He do it? Jesus answered that question Himself: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we could live. If we place our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins, all of our sins are forgiven and washed away. We will then have our spiritual hunger satisfied. The lights will be turned on. We will have access to a fulfilling life. We will know our true best friend and good shepherd. We will know that we will have life after we die—a resurrected life in heaven for eternity with Jesus!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Vandag se Bemoediging

Is jy honger? Wie na My toe kom, sal nooit weer honger ly nie, en wie in My glo, sal nooit weer dors kry nie” (Johannes 6:35).

Is jy verward?

Stel ander mense jou altyd teleur? Ek is die goeie herder; Ek ken my skape en my skape ken My” (Johannes 10:11, 14).

To Be a Witness:

As followers of Christ, we are expected to testify of what Jesus has done for us. To point people to Jesus. All we have to do is share what we have experienced and how our lives have been influenced by Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection. And what's more, we don't have to rely on our own strength. Jesus promised: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8).

If we rely on the power of the Holy Spirit, we can point a broken world to the Lord Jesus, who is the Savior. With His help, we can testify of His life-changing power in our lives and thus lead others to Him.

Our testimony is the confirmation of what God has done for us!

Vandag – Debora
Wie was Debora?

Debora was selfopofferend en moedig.

Women in the Bible – What can we learn from Them?

Today – Deborah
Who was Deborah? She was a prophetess used by Israel’s God to reveal his will on matters affecting his people. God also used her to solve problems among the Israelites.—Judges 4:4, 5.

What did she do? The prophetess Deborah courageously supported God’s worshippers. At his command, she summoned Barak to lead an Israelite army against their Canaanite oppressors. (Judges 4:6, 7) When Barak asked Deborah to go with him, she did not give in to fear but willingly complied with his request.—Judges 4:8, 9.

After God gave the Israelites a decisive victory, Deborah composed at least part of the song that she and Barak sang to recount the event. In that song, she mentioned the role that Jael, another fearless woman, played in defeating the Canaanites.—Judges, chapter 5.

What can we learn from Deborah? Deborah was self-sacrificing and courageous. She encouraged others to do what was right in God’s eyes. When they did, she generously gave them credit for what they did.

Ezekiel 38:1 – 23 (kjv)
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal,
and prophesy against him,
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.
And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Eze 39:1-29 (kjv)

Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.
And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.

Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.

And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 38:22 (kjv)

And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
Job 38:22-23 (kjv)

Hast thou seen the treasures of the hail?
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war.
Exodus 9:23-26 (kjv)

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.
Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

Gog and Magog Update

Iran makes ‘suicide bombing’ threat to block Strait of Hormuz if US enters war .

Will They Continue after Attack

The Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, is a vital global trade route through which about 20% of the world’s oil supply passes daily.

As the conflict between Israel and Iran escalates and the US mulls the possibility of deploying troops to enter the war, Iran’s regime is threatening a strategy some analysts consider akin to “suicide bombing”: blocking the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, is a vital global trade route through which about 20% of the world’s oil supply passes daily.

An Iranian source, quoted in Qatar’s Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper, warned that Tehran would take “additional measures” if the US entered the war.

Mohsen Rezaee, a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council and advisor to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, reiterated the threat on Wednesday, stating, “We have dealt heavy blows to the enemy, but it is not enough — we have yet to employ our full land and sea capabilities, our oil leverage, the Strait of Hormuz, or our advanced missile technologies.”

Blocking the Strait of Hormuz with mines would increase the price of oil by 40-50%, a scenario that would give Iran a strategic advantage to end hostilities. Still, it would also pose a significant risk to Iran, both militarily and economically.

Karim Sadjadpour of the Washington-based Carnegie Endowment for International Peace compared Iran’s threat to block the Strait of Hormuz to the “strategic equivalent of a suicide bombing.” Iran could cause massive damage, even if it is unable to “survive the retaliation.”

Blocking the Strait of Hormuz would likely provoke war with the United States and other nations, a scenario Iran is not afraid to threaten, even if it would ultimately be harmed in the process.

Retired US General Joseph Votel, former CENTCOM commander, and retired Vice Admiral Kevin Donegan, who once led US Naval Forces Central Command, said Iran is fully capable of mining and obstructing the Strait of Hormuz.

Donegan said if Iran took this action, it would evoke a “massive US response,” but at the same time, “Mining would also hurt Iran. They could lose significant oil revenue to China.” However, Tehran may consider the cost worthwhile to prop up the regime.

Introduction to the Bible – Bible Summary

We Have Completed the Introduction to the Bible all 66 Books the Past 3 Months . We will Now Go into Bible Study.

Is the Bible Truly God’s Word?
Our answer to this question will not only determine how we view the Bible and its
importance to our lives, but it will also have an eternal impact on us. If the Bible is truly
God’s Word, then we should cherish it, study it, obey it, and fully trust it. If the Bible is
truly the Word of God, then it is the final authority for all matters of faith, practice, and
morality. If the Bible is the Word of God, then to dismiss it is to dismiss God Himself.
The fact that God gave us the Bible is an evidence of His love for us. God communicated
to mankind what He is like and how we can have a right relationship with Him. These are
things that we could not have known had God not divinely revealed them to us in the
Bible. The Bible contains everything mankind needs to know about God in order to have
a right relationship with Him.
How can we know that the Bible is the Word of God and not just a good book? What
is unique about the Bible that sets it apart from all other books ever written? Is there any
evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word? These types of questions must be seriously
examined. There can be no doubt that the Bible does claim to be the Word of God. This
is seen in Paul’s commendation to Timothy: “From infancy you have known the holy
Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and
training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every
good work” (2 Timothy 3:15–17).
There are both internal and external evidences that the Bible is truly God’s Word.
Internal Evidence that the Bible is God’s Word
Internal evidences are those things within the Bible that testify of its divine origin. One
internal evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word is its unity. Even though it is really
sixty-six individual books, written on three continents, in three different languages, over
a period of approximately 1,500 years, by more than 40 authors who came from many
walks of life, the Bible remains one unified book from beginning to end without
contradiction. This unity is unique from all other books and is evidence of the divine
origin of the words that God moved men to record.
Another internal evidence that indicates the Bible is truly God’s Word is prophecy. The
Bible contains hundreds of detailed prophecies relating to the future of various nations,
certain cities, and all mankind. Other prophecies concern the coming of the Messiah, the
Savior of all who would believe in Him. Unlike the prophecies found in other religious
books or those by men such as Nostradamus, biblical prophecies are extremely detailed.
There are over three hundred prophecies concerning Jesus Christ in the Old Testament.
Not only was His lineage foretold and where He would be born, but also how He would
die and that He would rise again. There simply is no logical way to explain the fulfilled
prophecies in the Bible other than citing divine origin. There is no other religious book
with the amount of detailed predictive prophecy the Bible contains.
A third internal evidence of the divine origin of the Bible is its unique authority and
power. While this evidence is more subjective than the first two, it is no less a powerful
testimony that the Bible is God’s Word. The Bible’s authority is unlike that of any other
book ever written. This power is seen in the way countless lives have been
supernaturally transformed. Drug addicts have been cured by it, homosexuals set free by
it, derelicts and deadbeats transformed by it, hardened criminals reformed by it, sinners
rebuked by it, and hate turned to love by it. The Bible does possess a dynamic and
transforming power that is only possible because it is truly God’s Word.
External Evidence that the Bible is God’s Word
There are also external evidences that indicate the Bible is truly the Word of God. One is
the historicity of the Bible. Because the Bible details historical events, its accuracy is
subject to verification like any other historical document. Through archaeological
evidence and extrabiblical writings, the historical accounts of the Bible proved time and
again to be accurate and true. In fact, all the archaeological and manuscript evidence
supporting the Bible makes it the best-documented book from the ancient world. That
the Bible accurately records historically verifiable events helps substantiate its claim to
be the very Word of God and supports trust concerning other matters the Bible
addresses.
Another external evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word is the integrity of its human
authors. In studying the lives of the authors of Scripture, we find them to be honest and
sincere. The fact that they were willing to die often excruciating deaths for what they
believed testifies that these men truly believed God had spoken to them. The men who
wrote the New Testament and many hundreds of other believers (1 Corinthians 15:6)
knew the truth of their message because they had spent time with Jesus Christ after He
had risen from the dead. Seeing the risen Christ had a tremendous impact on them.
They went from hiding in fear to being willing to die for the message God had revealed
to them. Their lives and deaths testify to the fact that the Bible truly is God’s Word.
Another external evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word is the indestructibility of the
Bible. The Bible has suffered more vicious attacks and attempts to destroy it than any
other book in history. From early Roman Emperors like Diocletian, through communist
dictators and on to modern-day atheists, the Bible has withstood a constant onslaught
from detractors. Yet it endures and is still today the most widely published book in the
world.
Throughout history, skeptics have regarded the Bible as mythological, but archaeology
has confirmed it as historical. Opponents have attacked its teaching as primitive and
outdated, but its moral and legal concepts have had a positive influence on societies
throughout the world. It continues to be attacked by pseudo-science, psychology, and
political movements, yet it remains just as true and relevant today as it was when it was
first written. This should not surprise us. After all, Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass
away, but my words will never pass away” (Mark 13:31).
The Bible, unique among books, has transformed countless lives and swayed whole
cultures. After looking at the evidence, one can say without a doubt that God has
spoken and that, yes, the Bible is truly God’s Word.

Is daar
ander godsdienstige boeke gevind word of dié deur mans soos Nostradamus , is
Bybelse profesieë uiters gedetailleerd. Daar is meer as driehonderd profesieë aangaande
Daar is eenvoudig
ontelbare lewens bonatuurlik getransformeer is. Dwelmverslaafdes is daardeur genees,
God se Woord is.
