The New Testament speaks often about the conflict between the flesh and the spirit. Sometimes the issue is complicated because it is not clear whether the human spirit is in view or God’s Holy Spirit. Sometimes the contrast is between the body with all of its physical limitations and the immaterial part of a person, but often it is between the body’s connection to the temporal world and the immaterial human spirit that has been brought to life by God’s Spirit.
When Jesus wanted His disciples to pray with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane before His crucifixion, they kept falling asleep. Jesus warned them, “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). People are normally dominated by the body and the temporal, physical world.
Jesus told Nicodemus, “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit” (John 3:6). A person can be alive physically (in the body or the flesh) but dead spiritually. A person who has been born again by God’s Spirit is made alive spiritually (see Ephesians 2:1 and Colossians 2:13).
In Romans 8, Paul contrasts those who live by the flesh with those who live by the Spirit. It is clear from the context that he is not referring to fleshly Christians and spiritual Christians but rather to those who have been born again by the Holy Spirit and those who have not. Paul says this explicitly in verse 9: “You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.” Christians are described as “those who do not live according to the flesh but according to the spirit” (verse 4). Those who are in the flesh are hostile toward God, cannot submit to God, and cannot please God (verses 7–8). This can only describe unbelievers.
Paul elaborates on the conflict of flesh vs. spirit more extensively than any other New Testament writer. In Paul’s writings, the flesh stands for the natural desires of a person operating apart from God. A person who has not been raised to life spiritually is still “in the flesh.” To Paul, a person who is spiritual is one who has been born by the Spirit, even if that person will occasionally fail to live up to that reality. He warns the Galatians, “Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?” (Galatians 3:3).
Once the spirit of a person has been raised to life by the Spirit of God, the old desires of the flesh do not immediately disappear. There is a battle that rages on. “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want” (Galatians 5:16–17).
The person who has been brought to spiritual life—the work of the Holy Spirit within—will want to please God. But the pull of the world and temporal, physical needs and pleasures are still present. Therefore, the Christian must feed on spiritual food and continually yield to God’s Spirit on a day-by-day, minute-by-minute basis. Feeding the spirit and yielding to the Spirit are done by reading, studying, and obeying God’s Word and then availing oneself of all of the means of spiritual nourishment that the Word prescribes, such as prayer and fellowship. The more one gets into the Word, the more he or she will desire what God desires. The more a person gets into “the world,” the more he or she will desire what “the world” desires. Although Paul does not use the flesh vs. spirit motif in Colossians 3:1–2, the verses do present the same idea: “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
The strength of the Christian’s spirit’s alignment with God’s Spirit is in direct correlation to what the Christian chooses to focus on. A focus on God’s Word will cause a person to see things from His perspective and react in ways that please God. A focus on popular culture, worldly philosophy, and conventional wisdom will inevitably cause one to take the perspective of “the flesh” and will subtly or not so subtly warp his or her judgment. Living in the world, we are constantly bombarded with the values and desires of the flesh. Unless we take steps to counteract those messages, we will find ourselves out of step with the Spirit of God who lives within us.
Die Nuwe Testament praat dikwels oor die konflik tussen die vlees en die gees. Soms is die saak ingewikkeld omdat dit nie duidelik is of die menslike gees in sig is of God se Heilige Gees nie. Soms is die kontras tussen die liggaam met al sy fisiese beperkings en die onstoflike deel van ‘n persoon, maar dikwels is dit tussen die liggaam se verbintenis met die tydelike wêreld en die onstoflike menslike gees wat deur God se Gees tot lewe gebring is.
Toe Jesus wou hê dat Sy dissipels saam met Hom in die Tuin van Getsemane moes bid voor Sy kruisiging, het hulle aanhoudend aan die slaap geraak. Jesus het hulle gewaarsku: “Die gees is gewillig, maar die vlees is swak” (Matteus 26:41). Mense word normaalweg oorheers deur die liggaam en die tydelike, fisiese wêreld.
Jesus het vir Nikodemus gesê: “Vlees baar vlees, maar die Gees baar gees” (Johannes 3:6). ‘n Persoon kan fisies lewend wees (in die liggaam of die vlees), maar geestelik dood. ‘n Persoon wat deur God se Gees wedergebore is, word geestelik lewend gemaak (sien Efesiërs 2:1 en Kolossense 2:13).
In Romeine 8 kontrasteer Paulus diegene wat deur die vlees leef met diegene wat deur die Gees leef. Dit is duidelik uit die konteks dat hy nie verwys na vleeslike Christene en geestelike Christene nie, maar eerder na diegene wat deur die Heilige Gees wedergebore is en diegene wat nie is nie. Paulus sê dit eksplisiet in vers 9: “Julle is egter nie in die ryk van die vlees nie, maar in die ryk van die Gees, as die Gees van God ten minste in julle woon. En as iemand die Gees van Christus nie het nie, behoort hy nie aan Christus nie.” Christene word beskryf as “diegene wat nie volgens die vlees leef nie, maar volgens die gees” (vers 4). Diegene wat in die vlees is, is vyandiggesind teenoor God, kan hulle nie aan God onderwerp nie en kan God nie behaag nie (verse 7-8). Dit kan slegs ongelowiges beskryf.
Paulus brei die konflik van vlees teenoor gees meer breedvoerig uit as enige ander Nuwe-Testamentiese skrywer. In Paulus se geskrifte staan die vlees vir die natuurlike begeertes van ‘n persoon wat los van God optree. ‘n Persoon wat nie geestelik tot lewe opgewek is nie, is steeds “in die vlees”. Vir Paulus is ‘n persoon wat geestelik is, iemand wat deur die Gees gebore is, selfs al sal daardie persoon soms nie aan daardie werklikheid voldoen nie. Hy waarsku die Galasiërs: “Is julle so dwaas? Nadat julle deur die Gees begin het, probeer julle nou om deur die vlees te eindig?” (Galasiërs 3:3).
Sodra die gees van ‘n persoon deur die Gees van God tot lewe opgewek is, verdwyn die ou begeertes van die vlees nie onmiddellik nie. Daar is ‘n stryd wat voortwoed. “Ek sê dan: Wandel deur die Gees, dan sal julle nooit die begeertes van die vlees bevredig nie. Want die vlees begeer wat in stryd is met die Gees, en die Gees wat in stryd is met die vlees. Hulle is in stryd met mekaar, sodat julle nie kan doen wat julle wil nie” (Galasiërs 5:16-17).
Die persoon wat tot geestelike lewe gebring is – die werk van die Heilige Gees binne – sal God wil behaag. Maar die aantrekkingskrag van die wêreld en tydelike, fisiese behoeftes en plesiere is steeds teenwoordig. Daarom moet die Christen voed op geestelike voedsel en voortdurend aan God se Gees oorgee op ‘n daaglikse, minuut-vir-minuut basis. Om die gees te voed en aan die Gees oor te gee, word gedoen deur God se Woord te lees, te bestudeer en te gehoorsaam en dan gebruik te maak van al die middele van geestelike voeding wat die Woord voorskryf, soos gebed en gemeenskap. Hoe meer ‘n mens in die Woord kom, hoe meer sal hy of sy begeer wat God begeer. Hoe meer ‘n persoon in “die wêreld” kom, hoe meer sal hy of sy begeer wat “die wêreld” begeer. Alhoewel Paulus nie die vlees teenoor gees-motief in Kolossense 3:1-2 gebruik nie, bied die verse dieselfde idee: “Aangesien julle dan saam met Christus opgewek is, moet julle julle gedagtes rig op die dinge wat daarbo is, waar Christus aan die regterhand van God sit. Rig julle gedagtes op die dinge wat daarbo is, nie op die dinge wat daarbo is nie.”
Die sterkte van die Christen se gees se belyning met God se Gees is in direkte korrelasie met waarop die Christen kies om te fokus. ‘n Fokus op God se Woord sal veroorsaak dat ‘n persoon dinge vanuit Sy perspektief sien en op maniere reageer wat God behaag. ‘n Fokus op populêre kultuur, wêreldse filosofie en konvensionele wysheid sal onvermydelik veroorsaak dat ‘n mens die perspektief van “die vlees” inneem en sal subtiel of nie so subtiel sy of haar oordeel verdraai. Omdat ons in die wêreld leef, word ons voortdurend gebombardeer met die waardes en begeertes van die vlees. Tensy ons stappe doen om daardie boodskappe teen te werk, sal ons onsself uit pas bevind met die Gees van God wat in ons woon.

Introduction to the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, The Spirit of God, The Comforter known by all, The Spirit of Truth as called by Jesus Christ. The 3rd personality in the Trinity from Heaven, with God the Father and Jesus Christ the son of God as the other two personalities and the Holy Spirit as He arrived in Acts 2.
But the Trinity and this includes the Holy Spirit was present from day one of the Creation of the Universe and Earth as we know it today. Genesis 1 verses 1 and 2.

John 6 verse 63 & 1 Peter 3 verse 18
The Holy Spirit empowered Gods people since the beginning of time for service.
Exodus 28 verse 3 & Exodus 31 verses 1 to 5
He was always involved in Prophesies and the Prophets of old in inspiring them to Prophesize.
Num 11 verses 24 and 25 & 1 Sam 10 verse 6
The Spirit of God was always there to set the Children of God apart for service to the LORD in the Kingdom of God.
Isa 11 verse 2 & Ezek 2 verse 2
The Holy Spirit was always there to inform the Godly on the Promises from God.
Isa 32 verse 15 & Joel 2 verses 28 and 29
The Spirit of God was always involved in directing, moving and motivating the Children of God.
Ezek 3 verse 24
The Holy Spirit was always omnipresent and involved in the omniscience of the Universe.
Psalms 139 verse 7 & Isa 40 verses 13 and 14
But in the New Testament the Holy Spirit receive more responsibilities and fields of service.
His role in Praise and worship!
John 4 verses 23 & 24; Romans 8 verses 26 & 27 and Jude 20 verse 21.
After the assent ion of Jesus Christ, He had to fill the comforting shoes of Jesus to us as the Christians.
He was now a Healer, Leader and Comforter. And had to operate via the Spirit filled Child of God too.
Mark 16 verses 15 to 20; 1 Co 12 verses 4 to 11 and Acts 5 verse 12.
All these were part of the Promises from the Prophets. And then the arrival of the Comforter – The Holy Spirit as per Acts 2 verses 1 to 4.
And suddenly the promise from God and Jesus come alive.
Acts 2 verses 16 to 18.
We know that God the Father, Jesus Christ the son of God and the Holy Spirit forms the Top Management of Heaven. And every personality within the Trinity has a specific function or role to play.
In this revelation from God we will learn the real role of the Spirit of truth.
The Holy Spirit is the high point of God’s presence within His new Temple – YOU and ME! (The Spirit filled Child of God).
Although He is omnipresent, He normally works behind the scenes of our lives and works 24 hours a day within us to create a clean and perfect temple for God.
And He uses tools like, the Word of God (the Bible) and Prayer to create and build a new temple within us.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a very dynamic process. Not only a once of process of breaking, building and comforting. And finally succeed to get us sin free and clean, to approve us for the Holy of Holies. The Capital of the Kingdom of God = Heaven.
For sin is not allowed in Heaven!
And the ultimate gift of this approval “the mark (seal) of God”. Sealed for Eternity! Set apart as holy to the LORD!
In this revelation we will meet the Holy Spirit – The Spirit of Truth.
“Not just a Spirit”- the Title of God’s revelation.
I was born in a Christian family, attended Sunday school from a tender age, raised up by God fearing parents. This teaches me all about God.
At the age of 12, I moved over to the Pentecostal church, this religion pulled me, due to the love that was between the church members. I was suddenly noticed for what I believed in. This newly found happiness was Heaven to me. Praising and worshipping God with music instruments like, piano, drums, timberlines, and even clapping hands and dancing in front of the Lord.
I was drawn to this like a moth to a flame.
I accepted Jesus in to my heart at the age of 13 in the Full Gospel Church of God in Springs, Gauteng, in South Africa.
I only learned about the Holy Spirit (The 3rd person in the Trinity from the Kingdom of Heaven) when I started my Diploma studies in Theology.
The Churches did not really teach about the Holy Spirit.
I knew God – my parents gave me a foundation
I knew Jesus – He was living in my heart at that stage
But I did not know the Holy Spirit.
In my 3 year studies I learned about the Holy Spirit what I was taught by the Bible school and what I could understand from the Bible.
Only when I was baptized by the Holy Spirit, the word of God “The Bible” opened up to me. But again it was to study only that what was given to me in the past from the Bible School. Yes I started my Ministry with the help of the Holy Spirit. But I was still not 100% satisfied with what I needed to know about this Great Spirit within me. I needed to find out more about this Comforter, God has send to me, when Jesus requested Him to come as the Spirit to live in my spirit.
There was still something missing, and I read every book there was about the Holy Spirit, Googled every article available on the Holy Spirit. I wanted to know everything about this Spirit of God that worked with but still separately from God and Jesus.
In my Ministry I learned more about the working of the Holy Spirit and the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit, The workings of the Fruits of the Spirit, The Holy Spirit within the Church of God, The Ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit that is a feast of Love.
I was always frantically busy learning. I wanted to know everything about this wonderful Spirit of God within me.
I had so many questions, but no answers. No book could give me any guidelines for what I needed to know. I wanted to learn everything about this Teacher, Comforter, and Leader in me.
Yes, in my Ministry I saw wonders and Miracles via the working of the Holy Spirit, Different ways of Baptism, what happens to a church when the Holy Spirit takes over, The Healing, The Wisdom, the Miracles, The Knowledge, the Faith and all the Gifts in working.
I regarded myself as an expert, I knew the Holy Spirit and how He operates, and I knew the Holy Spirit better than anybody I ever met.
If I hosted Bible studies within Churches, The Knowledge of the Holy Spirit poured out of me. This Bible discussion would continue into the morning hours of the next day. The church of God was and still is very hungry to learn about the 3rd person in the Trinity the Spirit of God the Holy Spirit. I had all the answers- No – I did not- as I now write this to you.
But inside of me I still had a list of questions, unanswered.
I asked God:
“Please teach me more about your Spirit, I still need more info!” Then from August 2012 God sat me down and for 14 Months, God gave me this and several other revelations.
“This is how the Baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place.”
Wow, what a revelation.
The Spirit of God is not just the 3rd and last person in our Great Trinity….
God the Almighty – The creator of the Universe
Jesus, His Son –died for our sins on a Gross on Calvary and arose on the 3rd day and ascended to Heaven to prepare a place for us, and one day coming back to collect His Spirit filled Church.
But now the Holy Spirit, the Spirit within my spirit, with us.
“Not Just a Spirit”
I had several questions about the Holy Spirit?
- How does the baptism really take place?
- How does the Holy Spirit decide who to give what?
- Why doesn’t everybody that was baptized by the Spirit, bear all the fruits of the Spirit?
- Why does some Children of God get more gifts and fruits than other?
- How does all this happen?
- Why don’t some Christians receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? What If I, as Christian never get baptized by the Holy Spirit?
- What does the Holy Spirit do for me, to inherit eternal Life?
All these Questions were answered by God in this Revelation. This new revelation was always present in the Word of God but never pointed out to anybody.
We have to remember that nothing in the Word of God (The Bible) is there by mistake, every word has a meaning.
Every mention of something has a meaning and a purpose.
In this revelation we will learn about a new addition to our current theology.
- 4 Living Beings (Cherubim) moving with the Holy Spirit when the Baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place
- The Seven Spirit of God (the Sevenfold Spirit of God).
- The Seal (Mark) of God.
- The Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
We will understand the full purpose of the Trinity; we will understand key issues of the Ministry of Jesus on Earth. And the Ministry of His disciples and finally our ministry as disciples; we will know the Holy Spirit in full!

Inleiding tot die Heilige Gees
Die Heilige Gees, Die Gees van God, Die Trooster bekend deur almal, Die Gees van Waarheid soos geroep deur Jesus Christus. Die 3de persoonlikheid in die Drie-eenheid uit die Hemel, met God die Vader en Jesus Christus die Seun van God as die ander twee persoonlikhede en die Heilige Gees soos Hy in Handelinge 2 aangekom het.
Maar die Drie-eenheid en dit sluit die Heilige Gees in was teenwoordig vanaf dag een van die skepping van die heelal en die aarde soos ons dit vandag ken. Genesis 1 vers 1 en 2.
Hieroor kan ons meer lees: Die Heilige Gees in die Skepping en die Lewendmaking:
Johannes 6 vers 63 en 1 Petrus 3 vers 18
Die Heilige Gees het God se mense sedert die begin van tyd bemagtig vir diens.

Hy was altyd betrokke by Profesieë en die Profete van ouds om hulle te inspireer om te Profeteer.

Die Gees van God was altyd daar om die Kinders van God af te sonder vir diens aan die HERE in die Koninkryk van God.

Die Heilige Gees was altyd daar om die Goddelikes in te lig oor die Beloftes van God.

Die Gees van God was altyd betrokke om die Kinders van God te rig, te beweeg en te motiveer.
Eseg 3 vers 24
Die Heilige Gees was altyd alomteenwoordig en betrokke by die alwetendheid van die Heelal.

Maar in die Nuwe Testament ontvang die Heilige Gees meer verantwoordelikhede en diensvelde.
Sy rol in Lof en aanbidding!
Johannes 4 vers 23 & 24; Romeine 8 vers 26 en 27 en Judas 20 vers 21.
Na die instemming van Jesus Christus, moes Hy die vertroostende skoene van Jesus vir ons as die Christene vul.
Hy was nou ‘n Geneesheer, Leier en Trooster. En moes ook via die Geesvervulde Kind van God opereer.
Markus 16 vers 15 tot 20; 1 Kor 12 vers 4 tot 11 en Handelinge 5 vers 12.
Al hierdie was deel van die Beloftes van die Profete. En dan die koms van die Trooster – Die Heilige Gees soos in Handelinge 2 vers 1 tot 4.
En skielik word die belofte van God en Jesus lewendig.
Handelinge 2 vers 16 tot 18.
Ons weet dat God die Vader, Jesus Christus die seun van God en die Heilige Gees die Topbestuur van die Hemel vorm. En elke persoonlikheid binne die Drie-eenheid het ‘n spesifieke funksie of rol om te speel.
In hierdie openbaring van God sal ons die werklike rol van die Gees van die waarheid leer.
Die Heilige Gees is die hoogtepunt van God se teenwoordigheid binne Sy nuwe Tempel – JY en EK! (Die Geesvervulde Kind van God).
Alhoewel Hy alomteenwoordig is, werk Hy normaalweg agter die skerms van ons lewens en werk Hy 24 uur per dag binne ons om ‘n skoon en volmaakte tempel vir God te skep.
En Hy gebruik gereedskap soos die Woord van God (die Bybel) en Gebed om ‘n nuwe tempel in ons te skep en te bou.
Die Doop van die Heilige Gees is ‘n baie dinamiese proses. Nie net ‘n eenmalige proses van breek, bou en troos nie. En uiteindelik daarin slaag om ons sondevry en skoon te kry, om ons goed te keur vir die Allerheiligste. Die Hoofstad van die Koninkryk van God = Hemel.
Want sonde word nie in die Hemel toegelaat nie!
En die uiteindelike geskenk van hierdie goedkeuring “die merk (seël) van God”. Verseël vir die ewigheid! Afgesonder as heilig aan die HERE!
In hierdie openbaring sal ons die Heilige Gees ontmoet – Die Gees van Waarheid.
“Nie net ‘n Gees nie” – die titel van God se openbaring.
Ek is gebore in ‘n Christelike gesin, het Sondagskool bygewoon van kleins af, grootgemaak deur Godvresende ouers. Dit leer my alles oor God.
Op die ouderdom van 12 het ek oorgetrek na die Pinksterkerk, hierdie godsdiens het my getrek, as gevolg van die liefde wat tussen die gemeentelede was. Ek is skielik opgemerk vir dit waarin ek geglo het. Hierdie nuutgevonde geluk was vir my die Hemel. Om God te prys en te aanbid met musiekinstrumente soos klavier, tromme, houtlyne, en selfs hande klap en voor die Here dans.
Ek was hieraan aangetrokke soos ‘n mot na ‘n vlam.
Ek het Jesus in my hart aangeneem op die ouderdom van 13 in die Volle Evangelie Kerk van God in Springs, Gauteng, in Suid-Afrika.
Ek het eers van die Heilige Gees (Die 3de persoon in die Drie-eenheid uit die Koninkryk van die Hemel) geleer toe ek met my Diploma-studie in Teologie begin het.
Die Kerke het nie werklik oor die Heilige Gees geleer nie.
Ek het God geken – my ouers het vir my ‘n fondament gegee
Ek het Jesus geken – Hy het op daardie stadium in my hart gelewe
Maar ek het nie die Heilige Gees geken nie.
In my 3 jaar studies het ek oor die Heilige Gees geleer wat ek deur die Bybelskool geleer is en wat ek uit die Bybel kon verstaan.
Eers toe ek deur die Heilige Gees gedoop is, het die woord van God “Die Bybel” vir my oopgegaan. Maar dit was weer om net dit te bestudeer wat in die verlede vir my gegee is uit die Bybelskool. Ja, ek het my Bediening begin met die hulp van die Heilige Gees. Maar ek was steeds nie 100% tevrede met wat ek nodig gehad het om te weet oor hierdie Groot Gees in my nie. Ek moes meer uitvind oor hierdie Trooster wat God aan my gestuur het, toe Jesus Hom versoek het om as die Gees te kom om in my gees te lewe.
Daar het nog iets ontbreek, en ek het elke boek wat daar was oor die Heilige Gees gelees, elke artikel wat beskikbaar was oor die Heilige Gees gegoogle. Ek wou alles weet van hierdie Gees van God wat saam met maar steeds apart van God en Jesus gewerk het.
In my Bediening het ek meer geleer oor die werking van die Heilige Gees en die werking van die Gawes van die Gees, Die werking van die Vrugte van die Gees, Die Heilige Gees binne die Kerk van God, Die Bediening van die Heilige Gees, en die Gees wat ‘n fees van Liefde is.
Ek was altyd woes besig om te leer. Ek wou alles weet oor hierdie wonderlike Gees van God in my.
Ek het soveel vrae gehad, maar geen antwoorde nie. Geen boek kon vir my enige riglyne gee vir wat ek moes weet nie. Ek wou alles oor hierdie Leermeester, Trooster en Leier in my leer.

Ek het myself as ‘n kenner beskou, ek het die Heilige Gees geken en hoe Hy werk, en ek het die Heilige Gees beter geken as enigiemand wat ek ooit ontmoet het.

Unconventional Warfare And The Economics of Victory – Lessons From Ukraine
America once pioneered drone warfare in the early 2000’s, but our versions were high-tech, high-cost, and high-maintenance. Ukraine flipped the model. By deploying low-cost, AI-guided aircraft in coordinated swarms, they didn’t just save money–they changed the rules of warfare. Permanently.
A war-changing moment happened this week–and war planning may never be the same.
On Saturday, 117 autonomous drones–each roughly the price of a used sedan–pierced deep into Russian airspace and obliterated a third of Russia’s long-range bomber fleet. The total cost of the assault? Around $110,000. The total damage inflicted? Over $7 billion. One of the most expensive air forces on earth was taken out by technology not much more advanced than what a teenager might fly in a public park.
It’s a military event without precedent. It was tactically brilliant, economically devastating, and technologically prophetic. And if America isn’t paying attention, we may be the next empire blindsided by yesterday’s strategy in tomorrow’s war.
But perhaps even more striking than what happened–is how it happened.
When Gideon Meets AI
This wasn’t just about drones. It was about asymmetry, adaptability, and awakening.
Ukraine’s breakthrough wasn’t just technological–it was biblical in its boldness. Just as Gideon’s 300 men routed an army through clever misdirection and divine intervention, so too did Ukraine’s ragtag fleet of autonomous drones devastate one of the world’s superpowers.

Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council said the innovation came in part because Ukraine “had to rely on their own ingenuity… knowing that America was withdrawing.” That ingenuity birthed a miracle–not unlike the kind God delivered to His people in Judges 7.
Former Green Beret and Congressman Pat Harrigan called it “very unconventional. It was novel.” And that’s exactly what made it so effective.
Unconventional Warfare and the Economics of Victory
Harrigan offered perhaps the most sobering detail of the operation: “Ukraine sent 117 fully AI-driven autonomous drones into Russia at a total expense of about $110,000, and they inflicted over $7 billion worth of damage… taking out over 30% of its nuclear delivery fleet, long-range strategic bombers.”
That kind of economic imbalance is unprecedented. And it’s a wake-up call for the United States, where our current model shoots million-dollar missiles at $50,000 drones–a strategy that’s bleeding our finances and dulling our tactical edge.
“We’re losing the economics of it,” Harrigan warned. “It’s also just adding to our national debt.” In other words, we’re not just losing wars–we’re losing how wars are won.
China Is Already One Step Ahead
And while America debates budgets and bureaucracies, China is already executing drone swarm strategies that are terrifying in scale and simplicity.
Beijing has tested drone swarms launched from trucks, submarines, and even airborne containers. These swarms–often powered by domestic AI systems–are built to overwhelm enemy defenses through sheer volume and coordinated AI attack patterns. U.S. aircraft carriers, once the pinnacle of global dominance, may soon find themselves powerless against clouds of cheap, flying robots.
These Chinese drone swarms aren’t theory–they’re operational. Pentagon analysts have warned that China could disable a U.S. carrier group in minutes, simply by overwhelming it with hundreds or thousands of low-cost drones that jam radar, spoof targeting systems, and deliver precise, kinetic destruction.
And that’s not all.
Assassin Drones Are Next
What’s coming next is darker–and deadlier.
AI-powered assassination drones, capable of facial recognition, indoor navigation, and targeted elimination, are already being developed by multiple nations. These drones are no larger than a shoebox, but they carry lethal payloads, silent propulsion, and autonomous kill systems.
Imagine a future battlefield where leadership no longer resides in bunkers or war rooms, but is hunted by palm-sized drones through city streets, forests, or underground tunnels. These drones could fly in through an open window, scan for a face, and detonate inches away from a target’s skull–with zero human input.
How would a general plan a battle if he knows an invisible assassin could appear overhead at any moment? How would a political dissident sleep, knowing their location could be tracked by hostile AI? This is no longer science fiction. It is strategic inevitability–unless global norms and defenses evolve rapidly.
And perhaps that’s the most haunting lesson of Ukraine’s drone miracle. Technology is now available to the desperate, the determined, and the ruthless. Victory is no longer won by the biggest army–but the smartest, fastest, and most unpredictable one.
America’s Blind Spot–and Its Opportunity
This attack didn’t just devastate Russia. It exposed the soft underbelly of the United States military machine–our bloated procurement systems, gold-plated weapons programs, and strategic inertia. As military analyst Fred Kagan warned, “Could those have been B-2s [destroyed] at the hands of Iranian drones flying out of containers?”
The Wall Street Journal editors wrote, “Ukraine did the U.S. a favor… and sent America a wake-up call about its own complacency.” The implication is clear: what happened to Russia can happen to us–unless we change, and fast.
Rep. Harrigan echoed the urgency. “We have got to figure out how to make low-cost solutions to our enemies’ high-cost problems,” he said. “We have to change that paradigm if we’re going to properly deter or defeat China in the future.”
But change isn’t easy–because there’s money in standing still.
The Military-Industrial Trap and a Biblical Warning
Developing low-cost, high-impact weapons goes against the grain of what former President Eisenhower famously warned about in 1961: the military-industrial complex.
That complex, Eisenhower said, had “grave implications.” And now, as Rep. Harrigan pointed out, it’s compounded by a “congressional complex,” where every senator and representative fights to protect the weapons built in their district–even when those weapons are overpriced, outdated, or ineffective.
We’ve built an empire of expense. Ukraine just proved we need an economy of innovation.
The Final War May Not Be Fought With Bombs
War is changing. Quickly. What Ukraine just demonstrated is not just a new strategy–it’s a new reality. A $110K operation just changed the course of military history. But behind that moment lies a deeper question for every American:
Are we ready–ethically, spiritually, and nationally–for what’s coming?
Will we respond with humility, repentance, and reform? Or will we cling to outdated structures, fat contracts, and the illusion of invincibility?
In Judges 7, it wasn’t numbers or technology that brought victory–it was obedience, courage, and divine direction. We would do well to remember that.
Because if we do not adapt to the warfare of the future–technologically and morally–we may find ourselves not just outgunned, but irrelevant.
And in war, irrelevance is just another name for defeat.

Israel’s First Fully Autonomous Drone Uses AI to Conduct Real-Life Missions
Israeli tech company Percepto will soon unveil a rugged autonomous drone with unheard-of Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to advance security missions with real-life applications, a product the company says could only have been developed in Israel, the world capital of defense innovation.
On January 15, Percepto will showcase, for the first time in the field, the Sparrow I, a rugged drone specifically designed for harsh industrial environments.
While drones are widely used in the civilian market as toys, Sparrow I is a serious, fully autonomous drone with defense applications. While other drones’ autonomous capabilities only include flying, Percepto’s drone is the first fully autonomous drone with real-life mission applications. It uses machine vision and artificial intelligence to conduct security, safety and inspection missions, collecting and analyzing data in real-time, which it then provides to its customers.
The Israeli innovation is helping a range of some of the world’s most important and well-known companies better protect sensitive and strategic assets, such as oil and gas refineries, power plants, shipping ports and sea terminals.
“Percepto is a company started with the idea of creating real-time applications for drones to conduct autonomous real-life missions,” Ariel Avitan, Percepto Chief Commercial Officer, told Breaking Israel News.
“What we’ve added is a drone base station that can charge autonomously and a cloud software system that manages the drones on-site. On top of that, we create machine-based applications that allow drones to work 24/7 and do specific security and safety missions autonomously,” he said.
The main pool of customers for the innovation includes industries that use heavy utilities and critical infrastructure. “They include gas companies, big data sites, and facilities that need a high level of security, safety, maintenance, and inspection within the site,” Avitan told Breaking Israel News.
“Their main incentive is 24/7 work to reduce human labor on the security side and make their maintenance cycles much more effective on an ongoing basis.”
He explained, “Manpower for security costs a lot of money. US guards for nuclear sites cost $100,000 plus benefits per person. For 24 hours, companies need 3-5 guards per shift. Annually, that’s half a million dollars for one person to be on a shift. It is very hard to keep up with costs of security, and the added security that drones bring has the ability to autonomously detect [security threats] day or night and reduces human patrol.”
Thus, in order to replace guards and maintenance personnel year-round, the drones are built to work in harsh conditions, year round, 24/7, from the -20°C Milwaukee weather to the 50°C weather of the Mojave desert.
Today, four years since launching, Percepto is 23 employees strong and based in Modiin, Israel. According to Avitan, it is no coincidence that an Israeli-based company innovated this technology that is so relevant to the needs of modern security challenges.
“Israel has many security needs that have to do with high-end technology and need to make sure that the Israeli security is one step ahead,” said Avitan, who identified machine vision as particularly important for the Israeli military capability.
Due to the terrorist threat that Israel faces, comprising of “terrorist organizations that use these technologies for own interest,” Avitan told Breaking Israel News, “Israel is a leading country in anti-drone capabilities, including GPS interference, and autonomous systems, to make sure threats are taken down before harm is caused.”
He also maintained that the Israeli army fosters strong research and development personnel from Israeli airspace companies and defense units within the IDF.
“No doubt that experience coming from Israel is a main component in our ability to deliver high-end systems and large defense and military requirements. With Israel’s army training, it is much easier to provide industrial grade systems and to deploy very good commercialized solutions for the industry,” Avitan said.
Percepto’s Israeli drone-making know-how has already crossed borders, fulfilling incoming requests from many sectors, including other countries’ homeland security departments.
Although he could not specify which countries requested the technology, he concluded, “We already have requests from European countries, Southeast Asian countries, and the US. We have no doubt that there will be applications in the defense arena.”

TRUMP ON IRAN: If They Enrich, We Attack
US President Donald Trump insisted on Friday that a nuclear deal with Iran would not allow uranium enrichment.
“They won’t be enriching. If they enrich, then we’re going to have to do it the other way,” he said, hinting at a possible military strike.
The US has been making contradictory statements about whether a nuclear agreement will allow Iran to enrich uranium and, if so, to what level.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been adamant about not allowing Iran to enrich uranium at all.
However, Netanyahu promised Trump that Israel would not launch an attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities unless negotiations fail.
After five rounds of negotiations, the US presented a proposal that would let the Islamic Republic enrich uranium at low levels while blocking its path to producing a nuclear weapon.
However, Iran rejected the offer, saying that the proposal was “unprofessional and untechnical,” and insisted that the Islamic Republic had the right to enrich uranium as it sees fit.
“After receiving the American proposal regarding the Iranian nuclear program, we are now preparing a counteroffer,” Ali Shamkhani, political adviser to Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said in an interview on Wednesday.
He added that the plan was “not well thought out” and failed to address the primary concern of Iran, which is the issue of lifting sanctions.
“There is no mention whatsoever of lifting sanctions in the latest American proposal, even though the issue of sanctions is a fundamental matter for Iran,” Shamkhani said.
The Iranian official also warned that Tehran will not allow the US to dismantle its “peaceful nuclear program” or force uranium enrichment down to zero.
“Iran will never relinquish its natural rights,” Shamkhani said.
Khamenei also dismissed the offer directly, saying it “contradicts our nation’s belief in self-reliance” and runs counter to Iran’s key objectives.
“The proposal that the Americans have presented is 100 percent against our interests,” the Iranian leader said in a speech.
“The rude and arrogant leaders of America repeatedly demand that we should not have a nuclear program. Who are you to decide whether Iran should have enrichment?” Khamenei continued.

The first level is separation from God the Father – from Him as a Person, from His Word and from His love.
The foundation of the Kingdom of God is relationship. Therefore the foundation of satan’s attack is to destroy your relationship with God, yourself and others.
Separation From God As A Person:
There are people who do not know God at all – they have never invited Jesus to be Lord of their lives. All healing has to begin with an intimate love relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ beyond the realms of empty man made religion. God wants an intimate relationship with you – He wants you to know Him personally.
Jesus said in John 15 v 4 – 5: “4Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. 5I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in Him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apartfrom Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.”
I have no idea how to offer you any real healing or real peace apart from God because apart from God you can do nothing. From a medical or scientific perspective you have to change your thinking in order to get well from 87% of diseases. But you cannot change yourself in your own strength. For example, you may have high blood pressure and I can explain to you on a purely scientific level how it is caused by fear, anxiety and stress. So you can set out on a mission to change your thinking by not worrying or stressing about the future and you may be able to keep it up for two or three days but then you will soon slip back into your old ways and you will keep going round and round the same mountain. Both science and the Bible are saying that to be healed of your disease, you need to change your thinking. But no permanent change is possible apart from God – apart from God you can do nothing.
Furthermore you cannot claim what does not belong to you. For example, Discovery is a medical aid in South Africa – if I went into hospital I would have no right to claim anything from them because I am not a member and therefore they won’t cover me. If you are separated from God because you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, you are not part of God’s family. Therefore His promises which include healing are not available to you.
Let’s have a look at this story in Mark 7 v 24 – 30: “24And Jesus rose and went away from there to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He went into a house and did not want anyone to know [that He was there]; but it was not possible for Him to be hidden [from public notice]. 25Instead, at once, a woman whose little daughter had (was under the control of) an unclean spirit heard about Him and came and flung herself down at His feet. 26Now the woman was a Greek (Gentile), a Syrophoenician by nationality. And she kept begging Him to drive the demon out of her little daughter. 27And He said to her, First let the children be fed, for it is not becoming or proper or right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the [little house] dogs. 28But she answered Him, Yes, Lord, yet even the small pups under the table eat the little children’s scraps of food. 29And He said to her, Because of this saying, you may go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter [permanently]. 30 And she went home and found the child thrown on the couch, and the demon departed.”
Out of compassion Jesus healed this woman’s daughter but when this foreign woman initially asked Jesus for healing, He said to her, “Let the children first be filled, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” In other words what Jesus was saying to her is, “You don’t qualify. You have no right to healing because you are separated from God – you are not under His covenant. You are asking for something that does not belong to you.” There are many unsaved people from New Age and false religions who want healing from God but do not want to accept Him. They are not interested in God the Father, His Son or the Holy Spirit, they just want the “fix” so that they can get rid of their incurable illness. I have already been approached by other doctors in South Africa who have seen the success of this teaching in terms of people recovering from incurable diseases. They have asked me if they can take the teaching in my book, but take God out of it so as to make it more acceptable to the world, as not all people will accept God. My answer to them was this, “To take God out of the teaching in this book is like giving people a car with no petrol in it. The car will not be able to take them anywhere. Apart from God you can do nothing.”

Introduction to the Bible – Bible Summary
Summary of the Book of Titus
Author: Titus 1:1 identifies the apostle Paul as the author of the Book of Titus.
Date of Writing: The Epistle to Titus was written in approximately AD 66. Paul’s many
journeys are well documented and show that he wrote to Titus from Nicopolis in Epirus.
In some Bibles a subscription to the epistle may show that Paul wrote from Nicopolis in
Macedonia. However, there is no such place known and subscriptions have no authority
as they are not authentic.
Purpose of Writing: The Epistle to Titus is known as one of the Pastoral Epistles as are
the two letters to Timothy. This epistle was written by the apostle Paul to encourage his
brother in the faith, Titus, whom he had left in Crete to lead the church which Paul had
established on one of his missionary journeys (Titus 1:5). This letter advises Titus
regarding what qualifications to look for in leaders for the church. He also warns Titus of
the reputations of those living on the island of Crete (Titus 1:12).
In addition to instructing Titus in what to look for in a leader of the church, Paul also
encouraged Titus to return to Nicopolis for a visit. In other words, Paul continued to
disciple Titus and others as they grew in the grace of the Lord (Titus 3:13).
Key Verses:
Titus 1:5, “The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left
unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.”
Titus 1:16, “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are
detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.”
Titus 2:15, “These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all
authority. Do not let anyone despise you.”
Titus 3:3-6, “At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all
kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating
one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,
not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us
through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on
us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior.”
Brief Summary: How wonderful it must have been when Titus received a letter from his
mentor, the apostle Paul. Paul was a much-honored man, and rightly so, after
establishing several churches throughout the eastern world. This famous introduction
from the apostle would have been read by Titus: “To Titus, my true son in our common
faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior” (Titus 1:4).
The island of Crete where Titus was left by Paul to lead the church was inhabited by
natives of the island and Jews who did not know the truth of Jesus Christ (Titus 1:12-14).
Paul felt it to be his responsibility to follow through with Titus to instruct and encourage
him in developing leaders within the church at Crete. As the apostle Paul directed Titus
in his search for leaders, Paul also suggested how Titus would instruct the leaders so
that they could grow in their faith in Christ. His instructions included those for both men
and women of all ages (Titus 2:1-8).
To help Titus continue in his faith in Christ, Paul suggested Titus come to Nicopolis and
bring with him two other members of the church (Titus 3:12-13).
Connections: Once again, Paul finds it necessary to instruct the leaders of the church to
be on guard against the Judaizers, those who sought to add works to the gift of grace
which produces salvation. He warns against those who are rebellious deceivers,
especially those who continued to claim circumcision and adherence to the rituals and
ceremonies of the Mosaic Law were still necessary (Titus 1:10-11). This is a recurring
theme throughout the epistles of Paul, and in the book of Titus, he goes so far as to say
their mouths must be stopped.
Practical Application: The Book of Titus deserves our attention as we look to the Bible
for instruction on how to live a life pleasing to our Lord. We can learn what we should
avoid as well as that which we are to strive to imitate. Paul suggests we seek to be pure
as we avoid the things which will defile our minds and consciences. And then Paul
makes a statement which should never be forgotten: “They claim to know God, but by
their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing
anything good” (Titus 1:16). As Christians, we must examine ourselves to be sure our
lives line up with our profession of faith in Christ (2 Corinthians 13:5).
Along with this warning, Paul also tells us how to avoid denying God: “He saved us
through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on
us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior” (Titus 3:5b-6). By seeking a daily renewal
of our minds by the Holy Spirit we can develop into Christians that honor God by the
way we live.

allerhande hartstogte en plesier. Ons het in boosheid en afguns gelewe, ons was gehaat
en het mekaar gehaat. Maar toe die goedheid en liefde van God, ons Verlosser, verskyn
het, het Hy ons gered, nie op grond van regverdige dinge wat ons gedoen het nie, maar
op grond van sy barmhartigheid, deur die bad van wedergeboorte en vernuwing deur
die Heilige Gees, wat Hy uitgestort het mildelik op ons uit deur Jesus Christus, ons
Verlosser.”

ontvang het, was die apostel Paulus ‘n baie geëerde man, en tereg, nadat hy verskeie
kerke regdeur die oosterse wêreld gestig het is deur Titus gelees: “Aan Titus, my ware
seun in ons gemeenskaplike geloof: Genade en vrede van God die Vader en Christus
Jesus, ons Verlosser” ( Titus 1:4 ).

Verbindings: Paulus vind dit weereens nodig om die leiers van die kerk opdrag te gee
om op hulle hoede te wees teen die Judaïseerders, hulle wat probeer het om werke by
die genadegawe te voeg wat redding voortbring. Hy waarsku teen diegene wat
opstandige bedrieërs is, veral diegene wat aangehou het om besnydenis te beweer en
die nakoming van die rituele en seremonies van die Mosaïese Wet was steeds nodig (
Titus 1:10-11 ). Dit is ‘n herhalende tema regdeur die sendbriewe van Paulus, en in die

Praktiese toepassing: Die boek Titus verdien ons aandag as ons na die Bybel kyk vir
onderrig oor hoe om ‘n lewe te lei wat ons Here behaag. Ons kan leer wat ons moet
vermy sowel as dit wat ons moet probeer navolg. Paulus stel voor dat ons probeer om
rein te wees as ons die dinge vermy wat ons verstand en gewete sal besoedel. En dan
maak Paulus ‘n stelling wat nooit vergeet moet word nie: “Hulle beweer dat hulle God
ken, maar deur hulle dade verloën hulle Hom. Hulle is verfoeilik, ongehoorsaam en
ongeskik om enigiets goeds te doen” ( Titus 1:16 ). As Christene moet ons onsself
ondersoek om seker te maak ons lewens strook met ons geloofsbelydenis in Christus ( 2
Korintiërs 13:5 ).
Saam met hierdie waarskuwing vertel Paulus ons ook hoe om te verhoed dat ons God
verloën: “Hy het ons gered deur die bad van die wedergeboorte en vernuwing deur die
Heilige Gees, wat Hy mildelik oor ons uitgestort het deur Jesus Christus, ons Verlosser” (
Titus 3:5b- 6 ). Deur ‘n daaglikse vernuwing van ons gedagtes deur die Heilige Gees te
soek, kan ons ontwikkel tot Christene wat God eer deur die manier waarop ons lewe.
