Bible Verse and Prayer for Today

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8

Prayer

Lord Please help Us to Think of these Things daily – things that are true, things that are honest, things that are just, things that are pure, things that are lovely, things that are of good report; things of virtue, and things of praise. We Pray this in Jesus name , Amen and Amen

Prayer Tips

How to Develop a Powerful Prayer Life and to pray effectively.

To develop a powerful prayer life you will have to be loyal to the church and your faith. You can join a church and they may offer some classes to help you to develop a Powerful Prayer Life.

One of the best ways to develop a powerful prayer life is to spend time reading the Bible if you are Christian. Set aside a time for Bible reading and study. At the beginning and the end of the session you must began to pray and let God lead you and direct you.

God’s earnest desire is to have a rich, vibrant, and enduring fellowship with His children; but how can we enjoy such communion with all its blessings and benefits if we don’t know how to pray effectively?  We must at first establish a clear understanding of the rules of different prayers for different situations and how to apply them for your desired outcome.

Believe and Receive God:

Faith is the substance and by believing in that there is a Real Mighty God, a creator of heaven and earth and that He is and that there is a life after life for those who believe in Him, these believing in God has a desire to worship Him.

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Do what it takes for following Christ, and to maintain your reverence for God. Know that He is mighty, is the creator of the Universe and deserves glory, praise and honour.

God created man to worship Him. Even nations that do not know or ever heard of the Gospel of Jesus Christ worship a god. Worshipping and believe is an inborn gift from God.

Gal 4:8  Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

Your prayer life should acknowledge the Lord in His rightful place in your life. The bible tells us that where your treasures, your heart is, is the God that you serve.

Mat 6:19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Mat 6:20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Mat 6:21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Mat 6:22  The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Mat 6:23  But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Mat 6:24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Bybel Vers en Gebed vir Vandag

Ten slotte, broeders, alles wat waar is, alles wat eerlik is, alles wat regverdig is, alles wat rein is, alles wat lieflik is, alles wat lofwaardig is; as daar enige deug is, en as daar enige lof is, dink aan hierdie dinge.
Filippense 4:8

Gebed

Mat 6:20 Maar maak vir julle skatte bymekaar in die hemel waar geen mot of roes verniel nie en waar diewe nie inbreek of steel nie;

Mat 6:23 Maar as jou oog sleg is, sal jou hele liggaam donker wees.

Bible Teaching of the Day

For the Next few weeks we are Going to Concentrate on the Cross as we Approach the Festive Season of Passover.
Here is Bible Teaching 1.

“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46, KJV). This cry is a fulfillment of Psalm 22:1, one of many parallels between that psalm and the specific events of the crucifixion. It is difficult to understand in what sense Jesus was “forsaken” by God. It is certain that God approved His work. It is certain that Jesus was innocent. He had done nothing to forfeit the favor of God. As God’s own Son—holy, harmless, undefiled, and obedient—God still loved Him. In none of these senses could God have forsaken Him.

The prophet Isaiah says this about the Messiah: “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:4–5). Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). He was made a sin-offering, and He died in our place, on our account, that He might bring us near to God. It was this, doubtless, that intensified His sufferings and part of why Jesus said, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” It was the manifestation of God’s hatred of sin, in some unexplained way, that Jesus experienced in that terrible hour. The suffering He endured was due to us, and it is that suffering by which we can be saved from eternal death.

In those awful moments, as evil men were allowed to do whatever they wanted to Jesus, our Lord expressed His feelings of abandonment. God placed the sins of the world on His Son, and Jesus for a time felt the desolation of being unconscious of His Father’s presence. It was at this time that “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

There is another possible reason for Jesus to cry out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” It could be that Jesus’ intent in quoting Psalm 22:1 was to point His hearers to that psalm. When they read Psalm 22, they would no doubt see the many fulfilled prophecies included in that song of David. Even while experiencing the agony of the cross, Jesus was teaching the crowds and proving yet again that He was the Messiah who fulfilled the Scriptures.

Hier is Bybelonderrig 1.

“En omtrent die negende uur het Jesus met ‘n groot stem uitgeroep en gesê: Eli, Eli, lama sabagtani, dit wil sê: My God, my God, waarom het U My verlaat?” (Matteus 27:46, KJV).

Today’s Devotional

“WHAT A DAY WILL IT BE?”

Oh, what a day it must have been when Jesus turned water into wine, cleansed the leper, healed the lame, and gave sight to the blind. What a day it must have been when Jesus fed thousands with five loaves and two fish.

Oh, what a day it will be when we see Jesus, the One who saved us by His grace. What a day it will be when He will take our hand and lead us through the Promised Land. Oh, what a day it will be!

But what about today, when so many are waiting on the Lord to change their situations or answer their prayers?

There are those who are trapped in the darkness of sin and shame, but there will come a day when Jesus will deliver them from the darkness, just as He delivered the blind man from the darkness he once experienced.

Some are crippled in other ways. While many are financially crippled, others are crippled by the stresses of life, but there will come a day when those cripples will be touched and set free like the lame man in Acts 3.

Some of us are drained. Like the woman with the issue of blood, we may be on our knees and crawling because we no longer have the strength to walk. However, there will come a day when we will touch the hem of His garment and He will give us strength to go on. (See Luke 8)

Some of us may feel dead on the inside. Because of emotional or physical abuse, it may feel as if our souls have been ripped apart and we have died. But, just as Jesus raised Lazarus, there will come a day when Jesus will raise us up too. (See John 11)

We could argue that we have been waiting for years. Like the man at the pool of Bethesda, we have been waiting for years with no one to put us in the water. But there will come a day when Jesus will come by to heal us.

Also, we do not serve the Lord to see what He can do for us. We serve Him because we love Him, in return for His love for us. Moreover, since we are assured of His love for us, we can look forward to the day when Jesus will save, deliver, and heal us. We can look forward to that day when the windows of heaven will be opened wide and God’s blessings will be bestowed upon us.

Sommige is in ander opsigte kreupel.

Bible Prophecy in the News

Europe want a One World Leader – CALLING for the AntiChrist – –

Europe’s Road To Superpower Status: A Nation In Search Of A Leader – In the News

As economic and military pressure mounts, Europe may soon find itself seeking a strong leader–someone who can command respect, restore order, and navigate the turbulent geopolitical landscape. Could this be the figure foretold in biblical prophecy?

For decades, Europe has lived under the protective shadow of the United States, relying on American military power as its ultimate safeguard. But recent developments signal a fundamental shift–one that may propel Europe into its own as a geopolitical superpower, standing toe-to-toe with the U.S., China, and Russia.

In economic might, military strength, and strategic influence, the continent is waking up to a new reality: it can no longer depend on America for its survival. Instead, Europe must find its own voice, its own strength–and ultimately, its own leader.

The German-Led Rearmament of Europe

The most telling sign of this transformation is Germany’s unprecedented military build-up. In the past, Germany has maintained a pacifist stance, content with NATO’s protective umbrella and hesitant to embrace the responsibilities of military leadership. But times have changed.

Germany recently announced a €500 billion ($545 billion) “infrastructure fund” specifically designated for military and defense expansion. This is in addition to a €40 billion annual increase in defense spending, which will push Germany’s military budget to 3% of its GDP. The result? A rapidly modernizing Bundeswehr (German military) that could soon be the most powerful force on the European continent.

Why the shift? The war in Ukraine has served as a wake-up call. Vladimir Putin’s aggressive expansionism has shattered the post-Cold War illusion of European security. With a 1.2 million-strong Russian army operating under a war economy, European leaders understand that diplomacy alone will not deter Moscow.

Furthermore, Europe faces the possibility of a reduced U.S. presence. Donald Trump’s return to the White House has see a shift toward American isolationism, forcing Europe to fend for itself. Germany, under the leadership of figures like Friedrich Merz, has taken this warning seriously, advocating a “whatever it takes” approach to defense. With the Bundestag set to reconvene soon, Europe is on the brink of a major realignment.

An Economic Juggernaut Ready to Lead

Europe is not just a military power in the making–it is already an economic titan. The European Union remains the world’s largest single market, surpassing both China and the U.S. in economic integration. With a GDP exceeding $17 trillion, the EU has the financial muscle to sustain long-term military expansion, energy independence, and technological advancement.

Yet Europe’s economic system is both its strength and its Achilles’ heel. The EU remains a collection of independent states with varying levels of economic stability. Germany, France, and Italy wield enormous influence, while smaller economies like Greece and Portugal struggle to keep pace. This dynamic is eerily reminiscent of the biblical prophecy found in the book of Daniel.

The Biblical Parallel: Europe’s Role in End-Times Prophecy

For those who look at world events through the lens of biblical prophecy, Europe’s transformation raises profound questions. The book of Daniel describes a great statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, representing successive world empires. The final empire–the feet of iron and clay–depicts a divided yet powerful confederation.

Could this be a prophetic vision of the modern European Union?

Revelation 17 and Daniel 7 speak of a final kingdom, a ten-nation alliance emerging from what was once the Roman Empire. If Europe is indeed forging a new identity, could this confederation be taking shape before our eyes? The EU has long fluctuated between unity and division–partly strong, partly brittle, just as the prophecy suggests

The Search for a Leader

Every superpower needs a figurehead. The U.S. has Donald Trump. Russia has Vladimir Putin. China has Xi Jinping. But Europe?

The continent lacks a singular, charismatic leader to unite its diverse nations under one vision. As economic and military pressure mounts, Europe may soon find itself seeking a strong leader–someone who can command respect, restore order, and navigate the turbulent geopolitical landscape.

Could this be the figure foretold in biblical prophecy? The Antichrist, as described in the book of Revelation, arises from a revived Roman Empire. If Europe is indeed on the verge of superpower status, could this leader emerge from its ranks?

A Turning Point in History

Europe stands at a crossroads. It is no longer content to be a junior partner to the U.S. It is building its own military might, consolidating economic power, and preparing to take on global leadership. But as it rises, it must also confront its own historical and prophetic destiny.

Will Europe become the world’s next superpower? The answer may lie not just in geopolitics, but in the pages of Scripture.

Signs of the Times in the News

Gog sets up Magog for Next Bible Prophecy War that will end with Final Bomb

China Has Set Up Iran’s Next War In The Middle East

If Waltz is as good as his word — that Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon — then China, by arming the ayatollahs with nukes, has made sure that the world’s next confrontation will be historic OR even Bible Prophecy Fulfillment .

“Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz told ABC News’s Martha Raddatz on March 16th.

Waltz’s demand was in fact more comprehensive. He said that Iran must also hand over, among other things, missiles and uranium enrichment capability.

China helped Iran possess both. Beijing has set the stage for the next war in the Middle East.

On missiles, there is no doubt where Tehran got its delivery systems. “Most of Iran’s liquid-fueled ballistic missiles, including all its longest-range ones, are North Korean missiles with new paint,” Bruce Bechtol, author of North Korean Military Proliferation in the Middle East and Africa: Enabling Violence and Instability, told Gatestone.

“The missiles are probably why Trump is now dealing with Iran’s nukes.”

And where did North Korea get the technology that it sold to Iran? Some came from China. “The North’s submarine-launched KN-11 looks awfully like China’s Jl-1,” said Bechtol.

Pyongyang could not have sold missiles to Iran — and certainly could not transport them through Chinese airspace — without Beijing’s approval.

On enrichment, China proliferated directly and indirectly.

Indirectly, it proliferated through the nuclear black market ring headed by Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. China, sometime around 1974, started helping Pakistan build a nuclear device. As proliferation analysts note, China’s help was crucial, substantial and continuous.

Then, the infamous Khan, known as the father of the Pakistani bomb, merchandised China’s technology, including China’s blueprints for at least one warhead, to various countries across the Middle East and North Africa. Iran was one of Khan’s customers, especially for parts for centrifuges, the machines that purify uranium to bomb-grade. Khan used Chinese military installations to facilitate transfers to Iran.

Apart from transfers through the Khan ring, China directly dealt with the Iranian regime. For instance, a Chinese enterprise, Zheijiang Ouhai Trade Corp., arranged the surreptitious transfer of “critical valves and vacuum gauges” to Iran for use in its uranium enrichment program. Before that, another Chinese entity was involved in the sale to Iran of 108 pressure transducers, instruments that monitor gas centrifuges.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran, the dissident group that in 2002 disclosed the secret nuclear facilities in Arak and Natanz, charged in September 2005 that the covert Chinese trade in centrifuges continued into that year.

China also aided Iran in areas beyond enrichment. In June 2002, for instance, the US State Department publicly noted that China had violated pledges it made in October 1997 to the United States to stop aiding specific Iranian nuclear projects.

In November 2003, the Associated Press reported that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) staff had identified China as one of the probable sources of equipment used in Tehran’s suspected nuclear weapons program. Chinese specialists were working in that program at least as late as fall 2003 according to Michael Ledeen, writing in the Wall Street Journal.

In September 2005, the National Council of Resistance of Iran charged that China had secretly sent Iran beryllium the previous year. This metal, subject to international export controls, is used in neutron initiators to trigger nuclear weapons. The allegation is consistent with other reports about Iran’s covert attempts to source beryllium at that time.

Iran, in short, has a nuclear weapons program because of China. For a long time, the international community looked the other way as the “atomic ayatollahs,” in violation of their treaty obligations, worked on building these fearsome devices. President Donald Trump, to his credit, is taking the issue head on.

Now, the U.S. does not have a choice. As the Heritage Foundation pointed out in an October 2024 report about Iran, “The United States is at a critical juncture.”

“Recently, the U.S. government disclosed that it believes Iran has activated its nuclear weapons program that it previously believed had been discontinued in 2003,” Anthony Celso, a professor of security studies at Angelo State University, told Gatestone.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence in February of last year issued its Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community. The document included this sentence: “Iran is not currently undertaking the key nuclear weapons-development activities necessary to produce a testable nuclear device.”

Fast-forward to July 23, 2024, when ODNI released another report on the topic. The latter report did not include that assessment. From this and other indications, including comments of Senator Lindsey Graham after he received a classified briefing that month, it is clear that the U.S. intelligence community now believes Iran is racing toward the bomb.

Tehran almost certainly has one by now. The Iranians themselves have made that clear. There is only a “one-week gap from the issuance of the order to the first test” of a nuclear bomb, according to an April 2024 public statement of a senior Iran lawmaker.

That boast appears accurate. In the following July, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken essentially corroborated the statement by announcing that “instead of being at least a year away from having the breakout capacity of producing fissile material for a nuclear weapon,” Iran was “probably one or two weeks away from doing that.”

In short, Iran then was a bomb-in-the-basement state, just a “couple turns of the screw” from having an actual weapon.

The IAEA in January 2023 discovered that Iran possessed uranium enriched to 83.7% in the underground Fordo facility. There are no peaceful uses for uranium enriched to that purity.

Since then, there have been additional disturbing indications. Last month, for instance, the agency revealed that Iran possessed enough 60%-enriched uranium to make six weapons if that uranium were enriched to 90% purity, which would not be that difficult.

Diplomats from Russia, Iran and China met in Beijing this month to support Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Tehran, bolstered by Beijing and Moscow, publicly said it had no desire to talk to Trump.
