The classic passage from the Bible that answers this question is John 3:1–21. The Lord Jesus Christ is talking to Nicodemus, a prominent Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin (the ruling body of the Jews). Nicodemus had come to Jesus at night with some questions.

As Jesus talked with Nicodemus, He said, “‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’ ‘How can a man be born when he is old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, “You must be born again”’” (John 3:3–7).

The phrase translated “born again” can also be translated as “born from above.” Nicodemus had a real need. He needed a change of his heart—a spiritual transformation that could only come from above. New birth, being born again, is an act of God whereby eternal life is imparted to the person who believes (2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 2:29; 3:9; 4:7; 5:1–4, 18). John 1:12–13 indicates that being “born again” also carries the idea of becoming “children of God” through trust in the name of Jesus Christ.

The question logically comes, “Why does a person need to be born again?” The apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:1 says, “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins” (NKJV). To the Romans he wrote, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sinners are spiritually “dead”; when they receive spiritual life through faith in Christ, the Bible likens it to a rebirth. Only those who are born again have their sins forgiven and have a relationship with God.

Twice in His conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus stressed the truth that one must be born again to enter the kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5). Being born once makes us children of Adam, and we share Adam’s corruption. We need a second birth—a spiritual birth—to make us children of God. We must be born again.

How does the new birth come to be? Ephesians 2:8–9 states, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” When one is saved, he has been born again, spiritually renewed, and is now a child of God by right of that new birth. Faith in Jesus Christ, the One who paid the penalty of sin when He died on the cross, is the means by which one is born again. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

If you have never trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, will you consider the prompting of the Holy Spirit as He speaks to your heart? You need to be born again. Will you pray a prayer of repentance and faith and become a new creation in Christ today? “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God” (John 1:12–13).

Bible Verse and Prayer for Today

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
—2 Peter 3:18

Where do you need to grow in your walk with the Lord?
How about setting the tandem goal of growing in the grace of God and knowledge of Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior?
So often we pursue one or the other, grace or knowledge. However, something comes unhinged in our soul when either of those becomes more important than the other. Let’s keep grace and knowledge together, because we see them united in the Father’s gracious sending of His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, who created everything and was before anything (John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:15-17)

Prayer

Holy God, I desire to grow into becoming more of JESUShaped. I know I cannot do that without the power of your Holy Spirit, and my heart desiring such growth. I also want to grow into a more gracious person as I know and experience Jesus’ presence and truth in my life. Please bless me in this holy quest and use me to help others do the same. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen and Amen .

Amen.
—2 Petrus 3:18

In Jesus se Naam bid ek. Amen en Amen.

Bible Teaching of the Day

Jesus discussed the new birth in His conversation with Nicodemus, a Jewish leader, in John 3. Jesus said to him, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again” (John 3:3). Nicodemus was puzzled and asked how anyone could re-enter his mother’s womb and be born a second time. Jesus doubled down: “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit” (verse 5). Then He expounded on what the new birth is.

Jesus explained that this new birth is not physical, but spiritual. The new birth that we must experience in order to “see the kingdom of God” is a work of the Holy Spirit. Just as a mother does all the work in physical birth, so the Holy Spirit does all the work in the new birth. Upon our faith in the saving power of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit enters our spirits, regenerates us, and begins His work of transforming us into the image of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). We are born again.

We are all born with a sin nature that separates us from our Creator. We were designed in His own image (Genesis 1:27), but that image was tarnished when we fell into sin. As sinners, we cannot fellowship with a holy God the way we are. We cannot be repaired, restored, or rehabilitated. We need to be reborn.

In answer to Nicodemus’s questions about the new birth, Jesus began talking about the wind: “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit” (John 3:5–8).

In His analogy of the wind in John 3:8, Jesus was comparing physical birth and growth with spiritual birth and growth. Jesus points out that Nicodemus need not marvel at the necessity of the Spirit causing one to be “born again.” Nicodemus naturally believed in other things as difficult to understand, such as the wind, which he could not see. The effects of the wind are obvious: the sound is heard, and things move as it moves. The wind, unseen, unpredictable, and uncontrollable, is mysterious to us, but we see and understand its effects. So it is with the Spirit. We do not see the Spirit, but we see the changes the Spirit produces in people. Sinful people are made holy; liars speak truth; the proud become humble. When we see such changes, we know they have a cause. The Spirit affects us just as the wind affects the trees, water, and clouds. We don’t see the cause, and we don’t understand all the in’s and out’s of how it works, but we see the effect and believe.

When an infant is born, he continues to grow and change. A year later, two years later, ten years later, the child has changed. He does not remain an infant because a live birth results in growth. We may not see this growth happening, but we see the changes it produces. So it is with the new birth. When a person is born again in spirit, he or she is born into the family of God “like newborn babies” (1 Peter 2:2). This birth is not visible, but it begins to produce changes that are evident.

The following are some changes that follow the new birth:

  1. The “fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22–23). Someone who has experienced the new birth will begin to exhibit character qualities that are more like Jesus. This doesn’t happen overnight, but just as a fruit tree grows and begins to produce fruit in season, we begin to produce godly character traits such as love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. These traits are the natural result of yielding to the Spirit and spending time with God in His Word, with His people, and in worship.
  2. Godly choices. Sins that once captivated us begin to fall away as we grow closer to Jesus. Our new birth broke the power that sin had over us and enables us to live in freedom. Romans 6 explains that we have died to our old way of life and are free to live as we were designed to live. Colossians 3:5 says, “Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry” (cf. 1 Peter 4:1). This death to sin is an ongoing process as we grow in our faith and love for the Lord.
  3. Love for other Christians. One of the changes the new birth produces is love: “We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister” (1 John 4:19–21). A person who has been born into the family of God craves fellowship with other believers. God did not create a team where players can be traded. He did not create a corporation where employees can be fired. He created a family where every member is valued and equally loved. As part of His family, those who’ve been born again are to love and appreciate the other members of this worldwide family.
  4. Spiritual gifts. A part of God’s welcome package to those who are born of His Spirit are spiritual gifts that we can use to serve Him and edify the church. Spiritual gifts are special abilities that enable us to be more effective in the particular callings God places on our lives. As each member uses his or her gifts for the good of all, God’s family thrives.
  5. New babies crave milk, and, without it, they won’t grow. Likewise, new Christians crave biblical teaching or they won’t grow. Peter wrote, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” The new birth is only the beginning of the life God designed for us. It is also the only way we can enter the family of God and receive the privilege of calling Him “Father” (see Matthew 6:9; Romans 8:15).

Today’s Devotional

The Bible uses several metaphors involving birth to help explain what it means to have a saving relationship with Jesus. We find terms such as born again (John 3:3), born of God (John 1:13), and born of the Spirit (John 3:6). They all mean the same thing. Birth metaphors are used because we all understand physical birth. When a baby is born, a new person emerges into the world. The new life will grow, and the young person will come to resemble his or her parents. When we are born of the Spirit, a “new person” arrives with a new spiritual life. And as we grow, we come to resemble our Father in heaven (Romans 8:29).

People try to know God through a variety of means: some try religion or following an ethical code; some turn to intellect or logic; others try to find God in nature; and others through emotional experiences, believing that God inhabits whatever feelings they can muster when they think about Him. None of those bring us one step closer to actually communing with the God of the Bible because He cannot be known through our moral codes, our minds, our environment, or our emotions. He is Spirit, and those who would worship must worship “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24).

Imagine trying to paint a portrait using a hammer and nails or trying to bake a meal using pen and paper. It would not help to try harder or cry over it because both tasks are impossible given the tools mentioned. So it is with the flesh and the Spirit. We cannot commune with a holy, incorporeal Being using sinful, fleshly means. Unless our spirits are reborn with life from God’s Spirit, we simply do not have the capability to fellowship with Him. We must be born of the Spirit.

God has instituted a way for fallen human beings to enter His holy presence, and it is the only way we can come to Him. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). When Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice for sin (John 10:18) and rose again, He opened a door that had been locked. When He died on the cross, the veil of the temple was torn in two, symbolizing the fact that He has made a way to enter God’s presence. God has opened the door to heaven so that whoever trusts in His Son’s sacrifice can be born again in his or her spirit (Mark 15:38).

When we place our faith in the risen Christ, a divine transaction takes place (2 Corinthians 5:21). God removes from us the sin, guilt, and condemnation we deserved because of our rebellion against Him. He throws our sin as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). At the moment of repentance and faith, the Holy Spirit breathes new life into us, and our bodies become His temple (1 Corinthians 3:16). Our spirits can now commune with God’s Spirit as He assures us that we belong to Him (Romans 8:16).

We might think of the human spirit like a deflated balloon that hangs lifeless inside our hearts. We are scarcely aware of its existence until God calls our names and an awakening begins. When we respond to God’s call with repentance and faith in what Jesus Christ has done for salvation, we are born of the Spirit. At that point the balloon inflates. The Holy Spirit moves into our spirits and fills us. He begins His transforming work so that we begin to resemble Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:29).

There are only two types of people in the world: those who are born of the Spirit and those who are not. In the end, only those two categories matter (John 3:3). Our earthly lives are extended opportunities for us to respond to God’s call and become born of the Spirit (Hebrews 3:15).

Waar Was God?:

Where Was God?:

We may sometimes think that God is absent in some of our situations? God is invisibly present with our suffering and with everything in our lives. In our own lives when a heartbreaking tragedy occurs, such as the death of someone we love or just the loss of someone who was special to us. We have no satisfying answer to life’s painful problems. However, we know that the Lord is present with us, for He has said He will never leave us (Heb 13:5). Jesus’ name Immanuel literally means “God with us” (Matt 1:23). Even though suffering confuses our minds, we can trust God to be near and to carry out His purposes.

God’s invisible presence comforts me because I know He is always near and when life’s storms besiege our soul He says, “My child, I am here.”

The storms of our lives prove the strength of our Anchor.

BIBLE PROPHECY IN THE NEWS

US Military Base In Southern Israel? Prophetic Implications

There has been an astounding new twist in the wake of the Israel-Gaza war and the current ceasefire. There are credible reports that the United States is considering constructing a massive military base in southern Israel to oversee the ceasefire and implementation of the Trump administration-brokered 20-point peace plan. The projected cost of this military installation is a whopping $500 million.

This is an unprecedented development for the United States, Israel, and the Middle East–and it has regional, geopolitical, and, I believe, prophetic implications.

Many people may not realize that the United States already has a powerful military presence in the Middle East. There are approximately 40,000 to 50,000 US troops scattered across 19 sites in the region.

Bahrain is home to the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet. In Qatar, there is a 60-acre air force base in the desert outside the capital of Doha, which is the Middle East’s largest US base, housing about 10,000 troops. Several sprawling military installations are located in Kuwait. There is an air base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), south of the capital, Abu Dhabi. In Iraq, the US maintains a presence and air base in the western Anbar province and in the country’s north. Roughly 2,500 US troops are in Saudi Arabia, and the US Air Force has its central 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing in Jordan.

Approximately 200 US military personnel are currently stationed in southern Israel, monitoring the ceasefire. Eventually, they intend to take charge of the humanitarian aid distribution in Gaza.

While an American presence in the Middle East is nothing new, should the administration carry out its reported plans, it would mark the first time in history that the United States has constructed a large-scale military facility in Israel.

While no physical dimensions have been disclosed for the base as a whole, the Jerusalem Post reported that it will be a “large facility,” projected to contain 10,000 square feet of office space.

“According to reports, part of the purpose of the base would be to enhance the US’s ability to directly control events on the ground and to be less reliant on Israeli cooperation in dealing with diverse parties, whether Hamas, Egypt, the Palestinian Authority, or other third parties assisting in managing Gaza,” the Jerusalem Post detailed.

The proposed locations in southern Israel are reportedly near the Gaza border.

“A senior Pentagon official maintained Tuesday that ‘no US troops will be on the ground in the Gaza Strip,’ but acknowledged planning is underway to base international troops near the Palestinian territory,” Bloomberg reported. “The official said reports circulating in Israeli media are inaccurate, but he did not offer specifics. Still, the official said that as a planning organization, US military personnel are currently working with international military partners to develop potential options for basing international troops that are part of a future international stabilization force.”

An international stabilization force (ISF) is a critical part of the ceasefire agreement.

Bloomberg continues, “The ISF’s formation will support the president’s Gaza peace plan. The official who commented on the matter on condition of anonymity said in a statement, ‘To be clear, no US troops will be deployed into Gaza. Any reporting to the contrary is false.'”

“The project would be the first large-scale American military installation on Israeli territory, underscoring a deepening US commitment to post-war stabilization efforts in Gaza,” the article further noted.

The international stabilization force will be a multinational peacekeeping force. Egypt, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates have been named as countries that could contribute to this force. Other nations have also shown interest in sending troops to be part of the ISF, including Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Australia, Malaysia, Canada, France, and Cyprus.

The stabilization force will be under the authority of a “board of peace” that is being established, with President Trump at the head.

According to the Middle East Eye, “The Turkish government is finalizing plans that would result in the deployment of hundreds of soldiers to Gaza as part of an international peacekeeping force.”

While Turkey is bound and determined to be a part of the ISF, Israel soundly rejects those plans, underscoring that there “will be no Turkish boots on the ground” in Gaza.

Turkey’s desired involvement should be fascinating to those who understand Biblical prophecy. Turkey is one of the nations listed as part of the Gog-Magog coalition of nations detailed in Ezekiel 38–alongside Russia, Iran, and others.

Turkey, an outspoken enemy of the Jewish State, continues to involve itself deeply in the affairs of Israel and the surrounding nations.

While Russia and Iran have a lessened influence now in Syria, with the fall of Bashar al-Assad, Turkey has moved into that vacuum, taking a lot more authority in the nation right on Israel’s northern border. Should Turkey have boots on the ground in Gaza, it would also give it troops on Israel’s southwestern border.

Obviously, this international stabilization force is significant, as is the possibility of a huge US military facility in southern Israel. If constructed, there is no doubt that it would be a game-changer in the Middle East.

According to Newsweek, “The U.S. military has denied reports that it plans to build a $500-million base near Gaza, emphasizing that no American troops will be deployed to the territory as part of ongoing efforts to support a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.”

One thing’s clear: America is not going to have boots on the ground. At this stage, it makes sense for the United States not to confirm plans for a military base. Israel will have to be consulted, and the Netanyahu government has not yet given approval. Reports indicate that negotiations are currently in the works with Israel to get the green light.

Time will tell if a base is constructed. It seems to me that something will have to be built to house the International Stabilization Force–and it is unlikely that it will be within Gaza.

The construction of this large military complex in Israel would be a massive first for the United States and for Israel. You could say that Israel would almost be farming out or subcontracting its defense to keep this ceasefire, offloading some of its security. That would mark a major turning point.

The Bible tells us in the end times that Israel will put its security into the hands of outsiders. According to Daniel 9:27, Israel in the future will come to an agreement with the Antichrist, one that will seem to guarantee a long period of peace. We also know from Scripture that it will be a counterfeit peace. The Antichrist will break that seven-year treaty at the midpoint.

What we see happening right now in the wake of this war in Gaza could be a significant first step toward Israel being more open to outside forces securing its peace. All of this could be a striking foreshadow of the Antichrist covenant. It’s a kind of an initial conditioning, if you will, or a new emerging willingness to accept others’ help in guaranteeing Israel’s security.

In Ezekiel 38, we read of a coalition of nations that will attempt an invasion of Israel during a time in which the Jewish State is at rest. Israel will one day let down her guard, paving the way for this war detailed in Scripture.

The Black Pope: A Look at the Leader of the Jesuits

The Jesuits, also known as the Society of Jesus, are a Catholic religious order founded in 1540 by Ignatius of Loyola. The Jesuits are known for their education, missionary work, and social justice activism. At the head of this influential organization is the Superior General, commonly referred to as the Black Pope. In this article, we will explore the role and responsibilities of the Black Pope.

Who is the Black Pope?

The Black Pope is not an official title, but rather a nickname given to the Superior General of the Jesuits. The nickname is a reference to the black cassock that Jesuit clergy wear. The current Superior General is Arturo Sosa, a Venezuelan priest who was elected to the position in 2016.

What are the responsibilities of the Black Pope?

The Superior General of the Jesuits is responsible for the overall direction and governance of the order. This includes overseeing the work of Jesuit communities and institutions around the world, as well as promoting the Jesuit mission of education, social justice, and spiritual formation. The Black Pope also serves as a liaison between the Jesuits and the Vatican, and is responsible for ensuring that the order is in compliance with Catholic doctrine and canon law.

How is the Black Pope elected?

The Superior General is elected by the Jesuit General Congregation, which is a gathering of representatives from Jesuit communities around the world. The General Congregation meets every few years to elect a new Superior General and to discuss the direction of the order. The election of the Superior General is a complex process that involves prayer, reflection, and discernment, and can take several days or even weeks to complete.

What is the significance of the Black Pope?

The role of the Superior General is significant not only within the Jesuit order, but also within the wider Catholic Church. The Jesuits are one of the largest and most influential religious orders in the world, and their work has had a significant impact on Catholicism and on society as a whole. The Black Pope is therefore a figure of great importance, and his leadership and guidance are closely watched by Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

The Black Pope ! The Real Leader of the Illuminati.

Black Pope. “Black Pope” is a designation given to the Superior General. The name follows from his leadership of the largest Catholic, male religious order and from the color of the plain black cassock worn by members of the Society, including the Superior General.

The Superior General of the Society of Jesus is the official title of the leader of the Society of Jesus – the Roman Catholic religious order which is also known as the Jesuits. He is generally addressed as Father General. The position sometimes carries the nickname of the Black Pope, because of his responsibility for the largest Catholic, male religious order and is contrasted to the white garb of the Pope. The thirty-first and current Superior General is the Reverend Father Arturo Sosa, elected by the 36th General Congregation on October 14, 2016

The formal title in Latin is Praepositus Generalis, which may fairly be rendered as “superior general” or even, “president general”. The term is not of military origin (despite popular misconceptions and Ignatius of Loyola’s own military background) but is derived from “general”, as opposed to “particular”. This usage is consistent with other Catholic religious orders, like the Dominicans’ “master general”, Franciscans’ “minister general”, Carthusians’ “prior general”, and with civil posts such as Postmaster General and Attorney General. The Jesuits are organized into provinces, each with a provincial superior, (usually referred to as the “Provincial Father” or just “Provincial”), with the head of the order being the “general superior”, for the whole organization. As a major superior, the Superior General is styled “Very Reverend”.

The Most Powerful Man In The World ?
“The Black Pope” ?

So, you thought you were pretty well informed by now about all of the main players on the “conspiracy” playing field? You’ve maybe been hearing for years about (or bumped into on your own) the various elements of society who control our world from behind the scenes.

Black Pope Adolfo Nicolas, Superior General of the Society of Jesus Diabolical Plan for a New World Order.

Superiors General are elected by the General Congregation of the Society, summoned upon the resignation, retirement or death of an incumbent. Superiors General are elected for life and almost all have served life terms, the exceptions being Father Pedro Arrupe (resigned for reasons of failing health) and his successor, Father Peter Hans Kolvenbach.

Kolvenbach’s resignation was announced in February 2006, which led to the convocation of the 35th General Congregation. That General Congregation elected the current Superior General of the Society, Father Adolfo Nicolás, who succeeded Kolvenbach.

The prophecy concerning the rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire is one of the most critical prophecies in the entire Bible. Without proper understanding of this prophecy, it is impossible to really grasp the entire scope of the prophecies God has given us.

The prophecy concerning the rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire is one of the most critical prophecies in the entire Bible. The rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire actually happened on November 3, 2009. Its fulfillment was one of the five most important prophetic fulfillments in the last two thousand years. One reason this prophecy is so important is because the Antichrist and the False Prophet will both come out of this reborn Holy Roman Empire.

Let’s first of all understand the setting when this prophecy was given. At the time it was written, Israel was under Babylonian captivity. The Jewish people had been sent into exile for seventy years because of their disobedience to God. Daniel and the three Hebrew children were among the first to go into captivity. Because of their ability and exceptional intelligence, they were quickly placed into leadership positions. Daniel became one of the spiritual advisors to Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon. Babylon ruled the entire world at the time.

One night, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed a dream. When he awakened the next morning, he knew he had dreamed a very unusual dream, but he couldn’t remember what he had dreamed. Nebuchadnezzar demanded that his wise men tell him his dream and its meaning. When they could not tell the king his dream, Nebuchadnezzar was so angry that he ordered the killing of all the wise men in the kingdom. When Daniel heard about the king’s dream and his order to destroy all the wise men in his realm, he requested time from Arioch, the king’s captain, promising to tell the king his dream. Daniel and the three Hebrew children prayed and fasted, asking God to reveal the king’s dream. That night, God showed Daniel in a dream what Nebuchadnezzar had dreamed and its meaning.

The next day Daniel was ushered into the presence of the king. Daniel told the king, that he could not know nor interpret the dream himself. However, he served a God who reveals the secrets of men’s hearts, and He could reveal his dream. Then Daniel proceeded to tell the king what God had showed him.

The Bible is extremely Accurate.
Look at this !
