Collect enough Each day and double for the Sabbath;

‘n Lied / Gedig Geskryf deur Pastoor Dirk // a Song / Poem written by Pastor Dirk

Glo net in My

’n Toneel speel af in Jerusalem
Dit is opstanding oggend
Die tuin by Die Graf is gereed

Derde dag, Jesus gaan opstaan
Blydskap en lofprysing in die lug

Koor
Jesus vra jou vandag
Glo net in My
Sal Ek by My Wederkoms
Geloof vind? Glo net in My

Jesus stap uit die graf
selfs God die Vader is daar
hemel skaar, prys Sy naam
Jesus, die Koning en oorwinnaar

Maar Jesus se gesig verander
Van blydskap na hartseer
Jesus, kyk oor die skaar
Waar is hul dan?

Waar is hul dan? My volgelinge
My dissiples, waar is hul dan?
Die Hemel skaar raak stil
Hartseer en teleurstelling in die lug

Jesus, vra die Engel by die graf
Waar is hul dan? Weer eens geen geloof
Al wat Ek wou sien, al wat Ek wou he
Is glo in My, Glo net in my!

’n traan loop oor Jesus wang

Sal ek eendag geloof vind?
Wanneer Ek op die wolke verskyn
By My wederkoms geloof vind?

Only believe in Me

A scene is set in Jerusalem
It is resurrection morning
The garden at The Tomb is ready
Dew drop on flower and leaf

The Kingdom of Heaven is here
Jesus, has conquered sin and death
Third day, Jesus will rise
Joy and praise in the sky

Chorus
Jesus asks you today
Only believe in Me
Will I find faith at My Return
Just believe in Me

Jesus steps out of the tomb
Even God the Father is there
Heavenly crowd, praise His name
Jesus, the King and conqueror

But Jesus’ face changes
From joy to sadness
Jesus, look over the crowd
Where are they then?

Where are they then? My followers
My disciples, where are they then?
The Heavenly crowd falls silent
Heartache and disappointment in the sky

Jesus, asks the Angel at the tomb
Where are they then? No faith again
All I wanted to see, all I wanted to have
Is believe in Me, Only believe in Me!

A tear runs down Jesus’ cheek
Didn’t I tell them many times
I will die and rise on the third day
Where are they then? No faith again

Jesus’ prayer to the Father
Will I find faith one day?
When I appear on the clouds
Find faith at My return?

Bible Verse and Prayer for Today;

My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
Psalm 31:15

Prayer

Lord . Yes we are Free , Free of Sin after we was washed By the Blood of Jesus , But Yes we received a Enemy , called satan and his demons and followers , They are not happy with me being a Child of God , Please give Your Angels orders in protection , Please I Pray like the Psalmist did . Please deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. I Pray this in Jesus name , Amen And Amen

Prayer Tips

Paul teaches the Spirit filled Roman church to pray.
Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Holy Spirit will pray on our behalf, when we can not pray, only when baptism of the Holy Spirit has taken place already.
The Holy Spirit will become the intercessor.

Bybel Vers en Gebed vir Vandag

My tye is in u hand: red my uit die hand van my vyande en van die wat my vervolg.
Psalm 31:15

Gebed

Here. Ek Bid dit in Jesus Naam, Amen En Amen

Gebed Wenke

Bible Teaching of the Day

The resurrection of Jesus is important for several reasons. First, the resurrection witnesses to the immense power of God Himself. To believe in the resurrection is to believe in God. If God exists, and if He created the universe and has power over it, then He has power to raise the dead. If He does not have such power, He is not worthy of our faith and worship. Only He who created life can resurrect it after death, only He can reverse the hideousness that is death itself, and only He can remove the sting of death and gain the victory over the grave (1 Corinthians 15:54–55). In resurrecting Jesus from the grave, God reminds us of His absolute sovereignty over life and death.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is also important because it validates who Jesus claimed to be, namely, the Son of God and Messiah. According to Jesus, His resurrection was the “sign from heaven” that authenticated His ministry (Matthew 16:1–4). The resurrection of Jesus Christ, attested to by hundreds of eyewitnesses (1 Corinthians 15:3–8), provides irrefutable proof that He is the Savior of the world.

Another reason the resurrection of Jesus Christ is important is that it proves His sinless character and divine nature. The Scriptures said God’s “Holy One” would never see corruption (Psalm 16:10), and Jesus never saw corruption, even after He died (see Acts 13:32–37). It was on the basis of the resurrection of Christ that Paul preached, “Through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin” (Acts 13:38–39).

The resurrection of Jesus Christ not only validates His deity, but it also validates the Old Testament prophecies that foretold of Jesus’ suffering and resurrection (see Acts 17:2–3). Christ’s resurrection also authenticated His own claims that He would be raised on the third day (Mark 8:31; 9:31; 10:34). If Jesus Christ is not resurrected, then we have no hope that we will be, either. In fact, apart from Christ’s resurrection, we have no Savior, no salvation, and no hope of eternal life. As Paul said, our faith would be “useless,” the gospel would be altogether powerless, and our sins would remain unforgiven (1 Corinthians 15:14–19).

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25), and in that statement claimed to be the source of both. There is no resurrection apart from Christ, no eternal life. Jesus does more than give life; He is life, and that’s why death has no power over Him. Jesus confers His life on those who trust in Him, so that we can share His triumph over death (1 John 5:11–12). We who believe in Jesus Christ will personally experience resurrection because, having the life Jesus gives, we have overcome death. It is impossible for death to win (1 Corinthians 15:53–57).

Jesus is “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep” (1 Corinthians 15:20). In other words, Jesus led the way in life after death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is important as a testimony to the resurrection of human beings, which is a basic tenet of the Christian faith. Unlike other religions, Christianity has a Founder who transcends death and promises that His followers will do the same. Every other religion was founded by men or prophets whose end was the grave. As Christians, we know that God became man, died for our sins, and was resurrected the third day. The grave could not hold Him. He lives, and He sits today at the right hand of the Father in heaven (Hebrews 10:12).

The Word of God guarantees the believer’s resurrection at the coming of Jesus Christ for His church at the rapture. Such assurance results in a great song of triumph as Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:55, “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” (cf. Hosea 13:14).

The importance of the resurrection of Christ has an impact on our service to the Lord now. Paul ends his discourse on resurrection with these words: “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58). Because we know we will be resurrected to new life, we can endure persecution and danger for Christ’s sake (verses 30–32), just as our Lord did. Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, thousands of Christian martyrs through history have willingly traded their earthly lives for everlasting life and the promise of resurrection.

The resurrection is the triumphant and glorious victory for every believer. Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). And He is coming again! The dead in Christ will be raised up, and those who are alive at His coming will be changed and receive new, glorified bodies (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18). Why is the resurrection of Jesus Christ important? It proves who Jesus is. It demonstrates that God accepted Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf. It shows that God has the power to raise us from the dead. It guarantees that the bodies of those who believe in Christ will not remain dead but will be resurrected unto eternal life.

Waar, o dood, is jou angel?” (vgl. Hosea 13:14).

Today’s Devotional

“TURN BACK”

Are you where God wants you? Have you surrendered your whole life to God? Have you been converted? No, I’m not asking if you’re a member of the church. I’m not asking if you’re doing all the right things like feeding the hungry and caring for others. I’m not asking if you’re baptized. The question isn’t even whether you’re a deacon, elder, or even a preacher. My question: “Where do you stand in your relationship with God?”

Let’s look at Simon Peter. He was called by Jesus himself. He had a relationship with Jesus. He walked with Jesus. He experienced the greatness, the love, and the grace of God through Jesus. And yet he betrayed Jesus, yet he denied that he knew Jesus.

Jesus could see into Peter’s heart. The Lord knew him, so Jesus addressed him in Luke 22:32 with the words: “But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and when you have converted, strengthen your brothers.” (Afrikaans Old Translation) Does this mean that Peter was completely unconverted? Probably not, but it does indicate that even those close to God can falter.

There is hope. Jesus intercedes for us and prays that our faith may be maintained so that we can turn back to Him. Let’s look at Luke 22:32 in the New Afrikaans Translation: “But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail. When you have converted, strengthen your brothers.”

God’s call today is the same as in 2 Chronicles 7:14 “if my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

God wants us to return. That we should often examine our lives so that we can be renewed. Look at 2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Or do you not know for yourself that Jesus Christ is in you—if you are not at least reprehensible”! Read it in the Message translation: “Now I want to speak seriously to you: Go and examine your own life. Do you still believe?”

Let’s also look at Luke 14:26 – 30 “If anyone comes to me, he cannot be my disciple unless he renounces his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life. Whoever does not take up his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.” Which of you, intending to build a building, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, after he has laid the foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘Here is a man who began to build and was not able to finish.’

The time has come, the time is ripe and the time to decide is now. It is all or nothing. Calculate the cost. Turn to God anew and return. And then Jesus will also say: “When you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Vandag se Bemoediging

“DRAAI TERUG”

My vraag: “Waar staan jy in jou verhouding met God?”

Daar is hoop.

Dis alles of niks.

Bible Prophecy in the News

Lebanese researcher claims Iran created a ‘plasma weapon’

Iran reportedly possesses a unique plasma weapon and, while it denies intentions to develop nuclear weapons, it has stated it may be forced to do so if its facilities are targeted, citing the priority of protecting the Islamic Republic.

WHAT IS A PLASMA WEAPON ?

Plasma weapons utilize plasma, a superheated, electrically charged state of matter, to inflict damage. They can manifest in various forms, including projectiles, disruptive fields, and thermal weapons, but are generally difficult to achieve in practice due to the challenges of generating, containing, and directing plasma.

Here’s a more detailed look:

Types of Plasma Weapons:

  • Projectile Weapons: These involve firing plasma projectiles, often described as “plasma bullets” or “plasma toroids,” at a target. These projectiles can disintegrate targets upon impact.
  • Disruptive Field Weapons: These weapons utilize intense electromagnetic waves generated by plasma to disable or burn out electronic equipment over a wide area.
  • Thermal Weapons: These weapons employ plasma to melt or vaporize objects.

Challenges in Developing Plasma Weapons:

  • Plasma Instability and Dissipation:Plasma tends to be unstable and dissipates quickly in open air, making it difficult to maintain its shape and direction,
  • High Energy Requirements:
  • Generating and controlling plasma requires immense energy, making it a significant technological hurdle,
  • Magnetic Field Containment:
  • Maintaining a plasma beam or projectile requires powerful magnetic fields, which adds to the complexity of the weapon
  • Practicality and Effectiveness:While plasma weapons have been explored in science fiction and have potential applications in fusion research and plasma cutting, their practical implementation as a weapon system faces considerable challenges.
  • Real-World Examples and Applications:
  • Plasma Rail guns: These weapons utilize the principle of electromagnetism to accelerate a plasma projectile,
  • Plasma Guns:These devices are used in various applications, including medicine (removing skin roughness) and industrial processes (plasma cutting).
  • Plasma Torches:These devices generate a directed flow of plasma for various applications, including cutting, welding, and heating.
  • Plasma in Science Fiction:
  • Blasters and Plasma Weapons in Star Wars:In the Star Wars universe, blasters are depicted as energy weapons that utilize plasma.
  • Plasma Weapons in other Sci-Fi:Plasma weapons are a common feature in many science fiction narratives, often presented as powerful and versatile weapons.
  • In conclusion, while the concept of plasma weapons is intriguing and has been explored in science and science fiction, their practical development as a weapon system remains a significant challenge.

Signs of the Times in the News

Scientists have spotted a giant hole in the Sun.

This coronal hole is unlike the ones previously spotted in the sun 800 000 km wide. For starters, the gap is located in the Sun’s equator, not the poles. It also does not help that the hole has surfaced at a very usual phase in the Sun’s activity cycle. What does this mean for us? Should earthlings be worried? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZk4dQSRHbs

What does the Bible say about the Future of our SUN?

Jesus is the one that Prophesied about the Sun’s Future, Big Changes Just before his 2nd Coming and during His Second Coming

Mat 24:29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mat 24:30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mat 24:31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

When will this Happen?   Jesus showed John that is will Happen 3 Years after the Antichrist takes over the 3rd Jewish Temple as the 666 Head office.  During the Wrath of God just after the Great Tribulation

The Sun will explode and burn out days Prior to the 2nd Coming at the 4th Plaque

Rev 16:8  And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

Rev 16:9  And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Rev 16:10  And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Rev 16:11  And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Jesus and John Confirms that this takes place at the 2nd Coming of Jesus, just before the Battle of Armageddon called the 6th Seal. The 7th Seal, 7th Trumpet and 7th Plaque is the Battle of Armageddon.

Rev 6:12  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Rev 6:13  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Rev 6:16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Rev 6:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

What will Happen on Earth when the sun Burns out?

Our atmosphere will get stripped away. Our oceans will evaporate. For a while, we’ll look something like Venus, locked in a choking, carbon dioxide atmosphere.

And then it gets worse.

In the final stages of hydrogen fusion, our sun will swell and swell, becoming distorted and bloated — and red. The red giant sun will consume Mercury and Venus for sure. It might or might not spare Earth, depending on exactly how large it gets. If the sun’s distended atmosphere does reach our world, Earth will dissolve in less than a day.

But even if the sun’s expansion stops short, it won’t be pretty for Earth. The extreme energies emitted by the sun will be intense enough to vaporize rocks, leaving behind nothing more than the dense iron core of our planet.

The outer planets won’t enjoy the increased radiation output from the sun either. The rings of Saturn are made of almost pure water ice, and the future sun will simply be too hot for them to survive. The same goes for the ice-locked worlds orbiting those giants. EuropaEnceladus, and all the rest will lose their icy shells. They will form Hail that may strike the Earth

At first, the increased radiation will blast the four outer planets, stripping away their atmospheres, which are just as fragile as that of a terrestrial planet. But as the sun continues to swell, some of the outer tendrils of its atmosphere can find their way to the giants, traveling through funnels of gravity. Feeding on that material, the outer planets can gorge themselves, becoming far larger than they ever were before.

But the sun still won’t be done. In its final stages, it will repeatedly swell and contract, pulsing for millions of years. This isn’t the most stable situation, gravitationally speaking. The deranged sun will push and pull the outer planets in odd directions, potentially drawing them into a deadly embrace or kicking them entirely out of the system.

The Sun is Currently getting ready for the 2nd Coming of Jesus!!!

Gog and Magog Update

Israel has made no decision regarding airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities,

Israel’s foreign minister said over the weekend, denying reports that Jerusalem has resolved to strike Iran’s nuclear program as early as next month.

Speaking to the UK newspaper The Telegraph in an interview published on Saturday, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar (New Hope) appeared to push back against claims last week that Israel had settled on a plan to strike Iran, possibly in May, and that President Donald Trump rejected Israeli overtures for the US to take part.

Last Wednesday, The New York Times newspaper published a report claiming that Israel’s government had backed a plan to hit Iranian nuclear facilities sometime in the coming weeks, most likely in May, with Trump pushing instead for the nuclear talks with Iran, being conducted in Oman, to run their course.

“I am a member of the security cabinet, and all the intimate forums, and I don’t remember such a decision,” Sa’ar said, adding that while Israel is committed to ensuring Iran never acquires nuclear weapons, Jerusalem still believes negotiations can resolve the issue.

“I don’t think that such a decision was taken. But Israel is committed to the objective of preventing Iran from having nuclear weapons. If that objective can be achieved by a diplomatic path, it is accepted,”  said the  FM.

Introduction to the Bible – Bible Summary

Summary of the Book of 2
Chronicles
Author:
The Book of 2 Chronicles does not specifically name its author. The tradition is
that 1 and 2 Chronicles were written by Ezra.
Date of Writing: The Book of 2 Chronicles was likely written between 450 and 425 B.C.
Purpose of Writing: The Books of 1 & 2 Chronicles cover mostly the same information
as 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 & 2 Kings. The Books of 1 & 2 Chronicles focus more on the
priestly aspect of the time period. The Book of 2 Chronicles is essentially an evaluation
of the nation’s religious history.
Key Verses:
2 Chronicles 2:1, “Solomon gave orders to build a temple for the Name of the LORD and
a royal palace for himself.”
2 Chronicles 29:1-3, “Hezekiah was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he
reigned in Jerusalem twenty-nine years. His mother’s name was Abijah daughter of
Zechariah. He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father David had
done. In the first month of the first year of his reign, he opened the doors of the temple
of the LORD and repaired them.”
2 Chronicles 36:14, “Furthermore, all the leaders of the priests and the people became
more and more unfaithful, following all the detestable practices of the nations and
defiling the temple of the LORD, which he had consecrated in Jerusalem.”
2 Chronicles 36:23, “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: ‘The LORD, the God of
heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a
temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Anyone of his people among you—may the LORD
his God be with him, and let him go up.'”
Brief Summary: The Book of 2 Chronicles records the history of the Southern Kingdom
of Judah, from the reign of Solomon to the conclusion of the Babylonian exile. The
decline of Judah is disappointing, but emphasis is given to the spiritual reformers who
zealously seek to turn the people back to God. Little is said about the bad kings or of
the failures of good kings; only goodness is stressed. Since 2 Chronicles takes a priestly
perspective, the Northern Kingdom of Israel is rarely mentioned because of her false
worship and refusal to acknowledge the Temple of Jerusalem. Second Chronicles
concludes with the final destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.
Foreshadowings: As with all references to kings and temples in the Old Testament, we
see in them a reflection of the true King of Kings—Jesus Christ—and of the temple of
the Holy Spirit—His people. Even the best of the kings of Israel had the faults of all
sinful men and led the people imperfectly. But when the King of Kings comes to live and
reign on the earth in the millennium, He will establish Himself on the throne of all the
earth as the rightful heir of David. Only then will we have a perfect King who will reign in
righteousness and holiness, something the best of Israel’s kings could only dream of.
Similarly, the great temple built by Solomon was not designed to last forever. Just 150
years later, it was in need of repair from decay and defacing by future generations who
turned back to idolatry (2 Kings 12). But the temple of the Holy Spirit—those who
belong to Christ—will live forever. We who belong to Jesus are that temple, made not
by hands but by the will of God (John 1:12-13). The Spirit who lives within us will never
depart from us and will deliver us safely into the hands of God one day (Ephesians
1:13; 4:30). No earthly temple contains that promise.
Practical Application: The reader of the Chronicles is invited to evaluate each
generation from the past and discern why each was blessed for their obedience or
punished for their wickedness. But we are also to compare the plight of these
generations to our own, both corporately and individually. If we or our nation or our
church is experiencing hardships, it is to our benefit to compare our beliefs and how we
act upon those beliefs with the experiences of the Israelite’s under the various kings. God
hates sin and will not tolerate it. But if the Chronicles teach us anything, it is that God
desires to forgive and heal those who will humbly pray and repent (1 John 1:9).
If you could have anything you wished from God, what would you ask for? Fabulous
wealth? Perfect health for you and your loved ones? The power over life and death?
Amazing to think about it, isn’t it? But more amazing is that God made such an offer to
Solomon and he chose none of these things. What he asked for was wisdom and
knowledge to complete the task God had assigned to him and to do it well. The lesson
for us is that God has given each of us a commission to fulfill and the greatest blessing
we can seek from God is the ability to carry out His will for our lives. For that, we need
the “wisdom from above” (James 3:17) to discern His will, as well as the understanding
and intimate knowledge of Him in order to motivate us to Christ-likeness in both deed
and attitude (James 3:13).

Inleiding tot die Bybel – Bybel Samevatting

Opsomming van die Boek van 2
Kronieke
Skrywer:
