Peace , Love , and a Spiritfilled Live . Lord thank you for your Blessings and that it does not come with sorrow , heartace and tears. You have given us Your Holy Spirit as comforter. Thank You in Jesus name . Amen and Amen
Prayer Tips
Pray thankfully and praise God : end your prayers positively.
Overcome attitudes like unnecessarily emotional begging and pleading to God ‘at bedtime’ because — for example this might cause upset sleep and bad thoughts can lead to bad dreams; be peacemaker in your own mind: how — believe that God already knows and wants for you what you need and rightly desire (not coveting or envying). Then give thanks in advance, expecting good results (that’s trusting).
There is, of course, a time and a place for that pained, pleading and begging: “work out your salvation with fear and trembling”, anytime you like, but bedtime is not always the best time. Though, happiness is not the goal — rather ask for joy in whatever you experience — for trying to stop anxious thoughts or bad dreams, ask the Lord to show you the root cause of these and take them to him in meaningful prayers (personalized), believing. Everyday thanksgiving can bring peace into your life!
Colossians 4:2, “Continue in prayer, and watch [for results] in the same with thanksgiving;”
Increase (or start) thanking, and praising, and lifting up God.
It is however important to know that Jesus is God and that He is the Door to all your prayers to get to the omnipotent spiritual God. He and the father is one. Besides Him there is no other God. Praise Jesus and thank Him for any and all good things (called blessings) in your life.
Joh 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.
God and Jesus have promised to bless the one who blesses others and who thank God for His blessings upon them.
Psa 135:3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
Psa 147:1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
Psa 149:3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Joh 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Spreuke 10:22
Gebed
Here. Dankie in Jesus se naam. Amen en Amen.
Gebeds wenke
Joh 10:30 Ek en my Vader is een.

Bible Teaching of the Day
Is it wrong for a couple to live together before marriage?
The answer to this question depends somewhat on what is meant by “living together.” If “living together” simply means sharing the same house or apartment, with no sexual connotation, then, no, it is not technically wrong. Strictly speaking, there is nothing sinful about an unmarried man and an unmarried woman living in the same house or apartment, as long as there is no sex taking place.
However, that is not what is commonly meant by the term living together, which is often used as a euphemism for “having sex before marriage,” synonymous with shacking up. The Oxford Dictionary defines live together as “share a home and have a sexual relationship.” Rightly or wrongly, the sex is assumed.
For the purposes of this article, we will define living together or cohabiting as “sharing a home and having a sexual relationship.” Using that definition of living together, it is definitely wrong. Premarital sex is condemned in Scripture, along with all other forms of sexual immorality (Acts 15:20; Romans 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13, 18; 7:2; 10:8; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5; Jude 1:7). The Bible promotes complete abstinence outside of (and before) marriage. Sex before marriage is just as wrong as adultery and other forms of sexual immorality because they all involve having sex with someone to whom you are not married.
We live in a world that is increasingly supportive of couples living together before marriage. According to a 2016 Barna study, the most common justification for living together is to evaluate compatibility (84 percent); other reasons include saving on rent (5 percent) and other practical considerations (9 percent) (www.barna.com/research/majority-of-americans-now-believe-in-cohabitation, accessed 9/15/21). This acceptance of living together is found even among practicing Christians, of whom 41 percent say cohabitation is “a good idea” (ibid.). In 2019, Pew Research found that 58 percent of white evangelicals approve of cohabitation if the couple plans to marry (cited in www.crosswalk.com/family/marriage/christians-and-cohabitation-what-you-need-to-know.html, accessed 9/15/21). Despite current trends that approve of living together, the Bible’s message stays the same: God forbids sex before marriage.
In addition to the biblical guidance are other sound reasons not to cohabit. The idea that living together is an appropriate “test-drive relationship” before committing to marriage falls apart under scrutiny. Contrary to the conventional wisdom, living together before marriage does not make a future marriage stronger. One study based on a national survey found that couples who had lived together were 46 percent more likely to divorce than other couples (DeMaris, A., and Rao, K. V., “Premarital Cohabitation and Subsequent Marital Stability in the United States: A Reassessment,” Journal of Marriage and Family 54, 1992, based on the National Survey of Families and Households, 178–190). Another study released through Rutgers University found that cohabiting is counterproductive to long-lasting marriages and recommended that unmarried couples avoid living together, especially if the arrangement involves children, due to the uncertainty and tenuousness of cohabitation (Popenoe, D., and Whitehead, B. D., “Should We Live Together? What Young Adults Need to Know about Cohabitation before Marriage,” The National Marriage Project, the Next Generation Series, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, 1999).
Even in the case of an unmarried couple who share a living space without having sex, some problems arise:
1) There is still the appearance of immorality. We must consider our testimony before an unbelieving world as we represent Christ. Most people naturally assume that a man and a woman sharing the same living space are sexually active. Even if the assumption is wrong, the implication remains. God calls us to a higher standard: “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people” (Ephesians 5:3). Living together definitely “hints” at sexual immorality.
2) Sharing a living space could be a tremendous temptation for immorality. Cohabiting couples, even if they commit to abstain from sex, are putting themselves in a position that can easily lead to compromise and allow the devil to tempt them. The Bible tells us to flee immorality, not expose ourselves to its constant temptations (1 Corinthians 6:18).
3) We have a responsibility to our brothers and sisters in Christ. The Bible’s admonition is that we do not cause anyone to stumble (Romans 14:19–21). It’s not enough to say, “We’re doing nothing wrong”; we must “pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding” (verse 19, ESV).
If a couple is living together outside of marriage, they have three basic options: (1) continue to live together; (2) find separate living quarters; or (3) get married now. Many couples choose to get married in a quick, private ceremony to make things “legal,” and then have a more formal, church-type wedding celebration later. Of those three options, (2) and (3) are the only godly choices.
What Young Adults Need to Know about Cohabitation before Marriage,” The National Marriage Project, the Next Generation Series, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, 1999).

Today’s Devotional
To the Child of God in Ministry
Often, in order to go forward, we need to go back, retrace our steps in order to see where to go. In doing this I have been looking at a number of past “revivalists” like Finney and Spurgeon. Of a number of things that stands out in every revival is an acute awareness of sin as well as the central role of Jesus Christ and especially the death of Jesus on the cross. The latter is not strange as Paul himself said: “I made up my mind to forget everything except Jesus Christ and especially his death on the cross.” (1 Corinthians 2:2) Paul continues to say: “So when I came to you, I was weak and trembled all over with fear, and my teaching and message were not delivered with skillful words of human wisdom, but with convincing proof of the power of God’s Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 2: 3-4)
Allow me today to share with you a number of quotes by Spurgeon on the “message of Jesus Christ”
“The motto of all true servants of God must be, ‘We preach Christ; and him crucified.’ A sermon without Christ in it is like a loaf of bread without any flour in it. No Christ in your sermon, sir? Then go home, and never preach again until you have something worth preaching.”
A Christless sermon is like: “a brook without water; a cloud without rain; a well which mocks the traveler; a tree twice dead, plucked up by the root; a sky without a sun; a night without a star. It was a realm of death—a place of mourning for angels and laughter for devils. O Christian, we must have Christ!”
“Leave Christ out of your preaching, and you have taken the milk from the children, you have taken the strong meat from the men; but if your object as a teacher or preacher is to glorify Christ, and to lead men to love him and trust him, why, that is the very work upon which the heart of God himself is set.”
“Sooner by far would I go to a bare table, and eat from a wooden porringer something that would appease my appetite, than I would go to a well-spread table on which there was nothing to eat. Yes, it is Christ, Christ, Christ whom we have to preach; and if we leave him out, we leave out the very soul of the gospel. Christless sermons make merriment for hell. Christless preachers, Christless Sunday school teachers, Christless class leaders, Christless tract distributors—what are all these doing? They are simply setting the mill to grind without putting any grist into the hopper. All their labor is in vain. If you leave Jesus Christ out, you are simply beating the air, or going to war without any weapon with which you can smite the foe.”
“The Spirit of God bears no witness to Christless sermons. Leave Jesus out of your preaching, and the Holy Spirit will never come upon you. Why should he? Has he not come on purpose that he may testify of Christ? Did not Jesus say, ‘He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you’? Yes, the subject was Christ, and nothing but Christ, and such is the teaching which the Spirit of God will own. Be it ours never to wander from this central point: may we determine to know nothing among men but Christ and his cross.”
“Christ not only supplies the necessities of his people, but he gives them abundant and superabundant joy in the luxuries of his grace. You do not really preach the gospel if you leave Christ out; if he be omitted, it is not the gospel. You may invite men to listen to your message, but you are only inviting them to gaze upon an empty table unless Christ is the very center and substance of all that you set before them.”
“Leave Christ out? O my brethren, better leave the pulpit out altogether. If a man can preach one sermon without mentioning Christ’s name in it, it ought to be his last, certainly the last that any Christian ought to go to hear him preach.”
Spurgeon prayed: “We lie in the very dust before Thee in utter shame, to think that we have sometimes heard this story without emotion and even told it without tenderness. The theme truly has never become stale to us. We can say in Thy presence that the story of Christ’s death still brings joy and makes our hearts to leap. But yet Lord, it never has affected us as we could have expected it would. Give us more tenderness of heart; give us to feel the wounds of Jesus till they wound our sins to death. Give us to have a heart pierced even as His was, with deep sympathy for His grief, and an all-consuming love for His blessed Person”

Signs of the Times
The Sun did a Bird Wing Eruption

On Tuesday, astronomers watched as a vast ‘bird wing’ eruption sent waves of superheated plasma surging across the sun’s northern hemisphere.
At over 600,000 miles long (one million km), the filament of solar material was more than twice as long as the distance from the Earth to the moon.
Now, scientists predict that part of this filament eruption could hit Earth Today .
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, aurora chaser Jure Atanackov predicted that the full force of this eruption could trigger a severe or even extreme geomagnetic storm, the highest level on official rating systems.
Stunning video recorded by NASA’s solar observation satellites shows the moment that filaments of plasma 75 times larger than Earth peeled away from the sun in a pair of sweeping ‘wings’.
Most of the material was shot out of the sun’s north pole, so it will mostly avoid Earth.
However, astronomers say that Earth will probably receive a glancing blow from the wake of the passing storm.

Jesus is the one that Prophesied about the Sun’s Future, Big Changes Just before his 2nd Coming and during His Second Coming
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
When will this Happen? Jesus showed John that is will Happen 3 Years after the Antichrist takes over the 3rd Jewish Temple as the 666 Head office. During the Wrath of God just after the Great Tribulation
The Sun will explode and burn out days Prior to the 2nd Coming at the 4th Plaque
Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
Jesus and John Confirms that this takes place at the 2nd Coming of Jesus, just before the Battle of Armageddon called the 6th Seal. The 7th Seal, 7th Trumpet and 7th Plaque is the Battle of Armageddon.
Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
What will Happen on Earth when the sun Burns out?
Our atmosphere will get stripped away. Our oceans will evaporate. For a while, we’ll look something like Venus, locked in a choking, carbon dioxide atmosphere.
And then it gets worse.
In the final stages of hydrogen fusion, our sun will swell and swell, becoming distorted and bloated — and red. The red giant sun will consume Mercury and Venus for sure. It might or might not spare Earth, depending on exactly how large it gets. If the sun’s distended atmosphere does reach our world, Earth will dissolve in less than a day.
But even if the sun’s expansion stops short, it won’t be pretty for Earth. The extreme energies emitted by the sun will be intense enough to vaporize rocks, leaving behind nothing more than the dense iron core of our planet.
The outer planets won’t enjoy the increased radiation output from the sun either. The rings of Saturn are made of almost pure water ice, and the future sun will simply be too hot for them to survive. The same goes for the ice-locked worlds orbiting those giants. Europa, Enceladus, and all the rest will lose their icy shells. They will form Hail that may strike the Earth
At first, the increased radiation will blast the four outer planets, stripping away their atmospheres, which are just as fragile as that of a terrestrial planet. But as the sun continues to swell, some of the outer tendrils of its atmosphere can find their way to the giants, traveling through funnels of gravity. Feeding on that material, the outer planets can gorge themselves, becoming far larger than they ever were before.
But the sun still won’t be done. In its final stages, it will repeatedly swell and contract, pulsing for millions of years. This isn’t the most stable situation, gravitationally speaking. The deranged sun will push and pull the outer planets in odd directions, potentially drawing them into a deadly embrace or kicking them entirely out of the system.
The Sun is Currently getting ready for the 2nd Coming of Jesus!!!

Places in the Bible
Southern Temple Mount

Excavations
These excavations begun by Benjamin Mazar in 1968 were the largest earth-moving archaeological projects in Israel. Work continued until 1978, then resumed in the 1990s under the direction of Ronny Reich. These excavations are the most important for understanding the Temple Mount because of the impossibility of excavating on the mount itself.
First Century Street
This street was uncovered in the mid-1990s and dates to the decades before the city’s destruction by the Romans in AD 70.
It is 32 feet (10 m) wide and was paved with large slabs up to a foot (0.3 m) thick. The street was covered with massive stones pushed down by the Romans; only part of the street has been fully cleared by the excavators.

Trumpeting Stone
The top stone on the southwest corner of the Temple Mount bore an inscription which read in part, “to the place of trumpeting.” The priests would signal the start of Shabbat and festival days by blowing the shofar from this point. The inscription was apparently only a notice to the construction workers as to the final destination of this specially-cut stone.
Southern Steps
The western flight of stairs leading to the main entrances of the Temple Mount was 200 feet (61 m) wide. Excavators uncovered the easternmost part of this staircase with its alternating long and short steps. Some suggest that the fifteen long steps may have been one of the locations where pilgrims sang the fifteen Psalms of Ascent (120–34) as they went up to worship.

Double Gate
The Double Gates and Triple Gates provided access to the Temple Mount through subterranean passageways. Half of the lintel stone and relieving arch of this Herodian gateway is visible above the later protruding arch. Above and to the right is a stone with an inscription mentioning Hadrian’s son (AD 138). Its position upside down clearly indicates that it is in secondary use.
Mikveh
A series of public ritual bathing installations were found on the south side of the Temple Mount. Because of the demanding laws regarding purity before entering holy places, demand for mikvot was high and many have been discovered from 1st-century Jerusalem. Larger ritual baths such as this one have a small divider wall separating the entrance route from the exit.

Introduction to the Bible – Bible Summary
Summary of the Book of Haggai
Author: Haggai 1:1 identifies the author of the Book of Haggai as the Prophet Haggai.
Date of Writing: The Book of Haggai was written in approximately 520 B.C.
Purpose of Writing: Haggai sought to challenge the people of God concerning their
priorities. He called them to reverence and glorify God by building the Temple in spite
of local and official opposition. Haggai called them not to be discouraged because this
Temple would not be quite as richly decorated as Solomon’s. He exhorted them to turn
from the uncleanness of their ways and to trust in God’s sovereign power. The Book of
Haggai is a reminder of the problems the people of God faced at this time, how the
people courageously trusted in God, and how God provided for their needs.
Key Verses:
Haggai 1:4, “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this
house remains a ruin?”
Haggai 1:5-6, “Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Give careful thought to your
ways. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough.
You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn
wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.'”
Haggai 2:9, “‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former
house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD
Almighty.”
Brief Summary: Will the people of God reconsider their priorities, take courage, and act
on the basis of God’s promises? God sought to warn the people to heed His words. Not
only did God warn them, but He also offered promises through His servant Haggai to
motivate them to follow Him. Because the people of God reversed their priorities and
failed to put God in first place in their lives, Judah was sent into Babylonian exile. In
response to Daniel’s prayer and in fulfillment of God’s promises, God directed Cyrus the
Persian king to allow the Jews in exile to go back to Jerusalem. A group of Jews returned
to their land with great joy, put God first in their lives, worshiped Him, and began to
rebuild the Temple of Jerusalem without the aid of the local people who lived in
Israel. Their courageous faith was met with opposition from the local people as well as
the Persian government for approximately 15 years.
Foreshadowings: As with most of the books of the minor prophets, Haggai ends with
promises of restoration and blessing. In the last verse, Haggai 2:23, God uses a distinctly
messianic title in reference to Zerubbabel, “My Servant” (Compare 2 Samuel 3:18; 1
Kings 11:34; Isaiah 42:1–9; Ezekiel 37:24,25). Through Haggai, God promises to make
him like a signet ring, which was a symbol of honor, authority, and power, somewhat like
a king’s scepter used to seal letters and decrees. Zerubbabel, as God’s signet ring,
represents the house of David and the resumption of the messianic line interrupted by
the Exile. Zerubbabel reestablished the Davidic line of kings which would culminate in
the millennial reign of Christ. Zerubbabel appears in the line of Christ on both Joseph’s
side (Matthew 1:12) and Mary’s side (Luke 3:27).
Practical Application: The Book of Haggai draws attention to common problems most
people face even today. Haggai asks us 1) to examine our priorities to see if we are
more interested in our own pleasures than doing the work of God; 2) to reject a
defeatist attitude when we run into opposition or discouraging circumstances; 3) to
confess our failures and seek to live pure lives before God; 4) to act courageously for
God because we have the assurance that He is with us always and is in full control of our
circumstances; and 5) to rest secure in God’s hands knowing that He will abundantly
bless us as we faithfully serve Him.
Inleiding tot die Bybel – Bybel Samevatting
Opsomming van die boek
Haggai
puinhoop bly?”
In
