Conscience = The Inner Man.

Paul uses the term inner man several times in his epistles (2 Corinthians 4:16; Ephesians 3:16). Romans 7:22–23 says, “For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, but I see a different law in the members of my body.” The “inner man” is another way of describing the spiritual aspect of a person. The “outer man,” by contrast, would be the visible, external aspect of a person.

Human beings were created by God with a spirit, soul, and body (Genesis 1:27; 1 Thessalonians 5:23). It has been said that we are not bodies with souls; we are souls that have bodies. The body—the “outer man”—is our physical housing through which we experience the world. Our bodies function primarily through the five senses and by meeting innate needs that drive us to eat, drink, and sleep. Our bodies are not evil but are gifts from God. He desires that we surrender those bodies as living sacrifices to Him (Romans 12:1–2). When we accept God’s gift of salvation through Christ, our bodies become temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19–20; 3:16).

Our souls are the personality centers of our beings from which our mind, will, and emotions operate. With our souls we choose either to listen to and obey the lusts of our flesh or the desires of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16–17; Romans 8:9; Mark 14:38). The soul of a person is the courtroom where life decisions are made. It is the seat of the self-life and the fountain from which character traits such as self-confidence, self-pity, self-seeking, and self-affirmation originate.

Our spirits contain the inner man about which the Scriptures speak. Our spirits are where the Spirit of God communes with us. Jesus said, “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24). It is within our spirits that we are born again (John 3:3–6). The “inner man” contains the conscience upon which the Holy Spirit can move and convict of sin (John 16:8; Acts 24:16). Our spirits are the parts of us most like God, with an innate knowledge of right and wrong (Romans 2:14–15). First Corinthians 2:11 says, “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”

Romans 12:1–2 implores us not to be conformed to this world’s way of thinking; rather, our inner man must be transformed by the “renewing of our minds.” This mind-renewal comes about as we allow the Holy Spirit free rein within our “inner man.” He begins to change our actions and desires to match His. Romans 8:13–14 says, “For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

Romans 7 details the often painful battle between our flesh and spirit. Our spirits, having been reborn by the power of God, long to obey and follow Jesus. But the flesh does not die an easy death. Romans 6 explains how we can allow the inner man to triumph over the flesh. Verses 6 and 7 say, “We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin.” Until we consider ourselves “crucified with Christ” (Galatians 2:20), the soul and body battle with the spirit for supremacy. We continue to live in a state of defeat until we die to self and allow the Spirit to have full control over every aspect of our lives, both inner and outer man.

It is God’s desire and design for human beings that we live always directed by the born-again nature, which is in step with God’s Spirit. But our fallen natures want to rule, and so a spiritual battle rages. Romans 7:24 poses a question that every dedicated follower of Christ asks: “Who will deliver me from this body of death?” Verse 25 answers that question: “Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” The extent to which we surrender that inner man to the control of the Holy Spirit is the extent to which we walk in continual victory over our fallen flesh.

Gewete = Die Innerlike Mens

Bible Teaching of the Day

After their miraculous release from the Philippian jail, Paul and Silas tell their repentant jailer, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). Their words are one of many expressions of the underlying message of the whole Bible: God has provided salvation for the lost. Scripture is clear that all people need to be saved, and here are some reasons why that salvation is necessary:

– We need to be saved because we are totally lost in sin. It’s not that we need to save ourselves—we cannot do so—but that we need to be saved. The Bible teaches the total depravity of the human race; that is, every aspect of our being has been corrupted by sin. “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one” (Romans 3:10–12). We need the Good Shepherd to seek out the lost sheep and bring them home, rejoicing (see Luke 15:3–6).

– We need to be saved because we are under God’s wrath. We are “by nature deserving of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3). Without salvation, we stand condemned: “Whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3:18). We need Jesus Christ, the Righteous One, to propitiate the wrath of God and receive our judgment.

– We need to be saved because we are in danger of hell. After death comes judgment (Hebrews 9:27), and, if we die without God’s salvation, we will meet the same fate as the rich man who lifted up his eyes “in Hades, being in torment” (Luke 16:23, ESV). We need a Savior to rescue us from a fate literally worse than death.

– We need to be saved because we are spiritually dead. Before salvation, we are “dead in [our] sins” (Colossians 2:13). Dead people can do nothing for themselves. We need resurrection. We need the life-giving power of Christ, who alone can conquer death.

– We need to be saved because our hearts are hardened by evil. “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). The unsaved “are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” (Ephesians 4:18). We need a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit to fix our hearts and align them with God’s will.

– We need to be saved because we are enslaved to sin and Satan. “Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin” (Romans 3:9). In our natural state, we are held in Satan’s snare and bound by his will (2 Timothy 2:26). We need a Redeemer to liberate us. In Christ we “have been set free from sin” (Romans 6:18).

– We need to be saved because we are at odds with God. “The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:7–8). We need Jesus, the Prince of Peace, to reconcile us to God and bring us into the family of God as adopted sons and daughters.

When Jesus told Nicodemus, “You must be born again,” He spoke of necessity (John 3:7). Being saved—receiving the new birth—is not just a nice idea or a divine suggestion. It is the deepest need of the human soul: “You must be born again.”

Today’s Devotional

The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit will convict the world of sin (John 16:8). To help us understand what the conviction of sin is, we can look at what it is not. First, it is not simply a guilty conscience or even shame over sin. Such feelings are naturally experienced by almost everyone. But this is not true conviction of sin.

Second, conviction of sin is not a sense of trepidation or a foreboding of divine punishment. These feelings, too, are commonly experienced in the hearts and minds of sinners. But, again, true conviction of sin is something different.

Third, conviction of sin is not merely knowledge of right and wrong; it is not an assent to Scripture’s teaching about sin. Many people read the Bible and are fully aware that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). They may know that “no immoral, impure or greedy person . . . has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God” (Ephesians 5:5). They may even agree that “the wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17). Yet, for all their knowledge, they continue to live in sin. They understand the consequences, but they’re far from being convicted of their sins.

The truth is, if we experience nothing more than a pang of conscience, anxiety at the thought of judgment, or an academic awareness of hell, then we have never truly known the conviction of sin. So, what is real conviction, the kind the Bible speaks of?

The word convict is a translation of the Greek word elencho, which means “to convince someone of the truth; to reprove; to accuse, refute, or cross-examine a witness.” The Holy Spirit acts as a prosecuting attorney who exposes evil, reproves evildoers, and convinces people that they need a Savior.

To be convicted is to feel the sheer loathsomeness of sin. This happens when we’ve seen God’s beauty, His purity and holiness, and when we recognize that sin cannot dwell with Him (Psalm 5:4). When Isaiah stood in the presence of God, he was immediately overwhelmed by his own sinfulness: “Woe to me! . . . I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips . . . and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty” (Isaiah 6:5).

To be convicted is to experience an utter dreadfulness of sin. Our attitude toward sin becomes that of Joseph who fled temptation, crying out, “How could I do this great evil and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9).

We are convicted when we become mindful of how much our sin dishonors God. When David was convicted by the Holy Spirit, he cried out, “Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight” (Psalm 51:4). David saw his sin primarily as an affront to a holy God.

We are convicted when we become intensely aware of the wrath it exposes to our souls (Romans 1:18; Romans 2:5). When the Philippian jailer fell at the apostles’ feet and cried, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” he was under conviction (Acts 16:30). He was certain that, without a Savior, he would die.

When the Holy Spirit convicts people of their sin, He represents the righteous judgment of God (Hebrews 4:12). There is no appeal of this verdict. The Holy Spirit not only convicts people of sin, but He also brings them to repentance (Acts 17:30; Luke 13:5). The Holy Spirit brings to light our relationship to God. The convicting power of the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to our sin and opens our hearts to receive His grace (Ephesians 2:8).

We praise the Lord for the conviction of sin. Without it, there could be no salvation. No one is saved apart from the Spirit’s convicting and regenerating work in the heart. The Bible teaches that all people are by nature rebels against God and hostile to Jesus Christ. They are “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1). Jesus said, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44). Part of that “draw” to Jesus is the conviction of sin.

… ek is verwoes!

Dis belangriker as enigiets anders !

Like Jesus:

During a children’s service, the teacher talked about the first Commandment: “You shall have no other gods before me” (Ex 20:3). She suggested ways they could fulfill the commandment: Nothing should come before God – sweets, schoolwork, video games. She explained that putting God first means spending time with Him through Bible reading and prayer. That’s more important than anything else!

One of the older children asked an important question, something to think about. She asked if being a Christian means keeping a bunch of laws. Does God want us to let Him in on all areas of our lives?

Sometimes we make the mistake of thinking that the Bible is just a set of rules, laws that we have to keep. Spending time with God is important, but not because it’s a law. Jesus spent time in prayer with God because they had a relationship. If we have a relationship with Him, we will want to spend time with Him, so that we become more like Him. John says; “He who claims to abide in Him ought himself also to walk as Jesus walked ( 1 John 2:6 ). He is the example we can follow!
When we want to know how to truly love, be humble, believe and get our priorities right, we must look to Jesus and follow Him!

Jesus calls us to follow Him.

Meet : The Late Ben Lacy Speer (June 26, 1930 – April 7, 2017)

a Singer, musician, music publisher, and record company executive. He sang for The Speer Family for most of his career. Speer later became the music director of the Gaither Homecoming programs. He was born in Double Springs, Alabama, the youngest child of Lena and G.T. Speer (affectionately known as “Mom” and “Dad” Speer to most people in Southern gospel music), who originally led the group, with Speer’s siblings Brock Speer, Mary Tom Speer, and Rosa Nell Speer also participating. He died on April 7, 2017, after suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Performing career
From starting to sing at age 2, Speer went on to a career that led to his being described on the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame website as “one of the most enduring and outstanding lead singers and piano performers in gospel music.” During his years with the Speer Family, the group recorded more than 75 albums. In addition to singing and playing piano with the Speer Family, he arranged music for them. He retired from the group in 1993, but made some appearances with it until the group itself retired.

Technical and business career
Speer has contributed to both the technical and business aspects of Southern gospel music. Speer was the longtime music director for the Gaither Homecoming series.

The Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame’s website noted his technical accomplishments as follows: “Ben chose experimenting with sound equipment as a hobby. He has excelled in this field and is often used as a consultant for sound by his colleagues in gospel music.”As owner and chief engineer of Ben Speer Recording Studios, he has produced albums by the Florida Boys, Ivan Parker, The Weatherfords and others. Speer began publishing Southern Gospel music in 1950, founding the Ben Speer Music Company. Among songs published by the company are “What a Day That Will Be,” “I’m Standing on the Solid Rock,” and “Touring that City.”

Ben Speer’s Stamps Baxter School of Music
In 1988, Speer revived the Stamps-Baxter School of Music, which for many years had been an institution for training people in Southern gospel music. Now known as Ben Speer’s Stamps Baxter School of Music, the school attracts students from across the United States and from other countries. James R. Goff Jr., in his Close Harmony: A History of Southern Gospel, wrote that a 1998 brochure summarized key elements of the school as follows: “theory, harmony, song writing, sight reading, ear training, performance training, conducting, voice, piano, guitar, bass and drums are taught.” The school continues to be operated by members of the Speer family following Speer’s death with the school being hosted at Middle Tennessee State University in 2018.

Bible Prophecy in the News

” AT THE END – Good will be Called Evil and Evil , Good

From Here

to Heaven

Ozzy Osbourne Passed on this week , Now everyone says He repented and is in Heaven already with Jimmy Swaggart and Friends

Due to – Celebrity Evangelist Dylan Novak shared the gospel with Ozzy Osbourne just 2 weeks before he passed and gave him a Bible with his name written in it.

Nolan says that he cherished that gift.

Regardless of Ozzy’s eternal destination…one thing is certain…

If we knew what he knows now…we would ALL turn to Christ. So it’s best to do it now before it is too late

Pray for the Osbourne family and God would get a hold of their hearts.

WHO WAS Ozzy Osbourne?

John Michael “Ozzy” Osbourne was an English singer, songwriter and media personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname “Prince of Darkness”

PASTOR DIRK SAYS . The 11th Hour Salvation before Death does not give you a Free Ticket to Heaven !!

There is one of 2 Places we can open our spiritual eyes after Death

  1. for The Born Again , Baptized in Water and Most Important Baptized , They will see a Brilliant Light at the end of a Dark Tunnel = That Light will be Jesus as he descends to Earth for His Second Coming at the Battle of Armageddon to Take care of the Rapture : Verses that Confirms this . Rev 16 v 15-16 , Matt 24 v 29-31 and 1 Thess 4.
  2. For the Rest of the People ever lived on Earth (Only Excluding the Spirit Filled Children of God) : They will see a Brilliant Light at the end of a Dark Tunnel = The Light will be Jesus as He sits on the Great White Throne Judgment . There He will Judge every soul that ever Died without the Holy Spirit Baptism ; Bible verses to confirm this – Rom 8 v11-16 . John 3 v 3-6 and Rev 20

The self Proclaimed “Prince of Darkness” has Died , He will not open His eyes at the 2nd Coming of Jesus and taken to Heaven after the Rapture that will take place at the Battle of Armageddon. NOPE

The now claimed Saved “Prince of Darkness” will open His eyes 1000 years Later at the Great White Throne Judgement and 4 Judgement Books will be Opened and He will be Judged on the Entries in that 4 Books , and then a 5th and Final Book will be Opened and If the “Prince of Darkness” aka John Michael “Ozzy” Osbourne name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life , He will be led to HELL for Eternity.

The 4 Books

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

These Books and their Writings will one day be revealed at the Great White Throne Judgment.
4 Books will be opened, and then a final book.

Book 1: The Book of Secrets-
Rom 2:16 in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Book 2: The Book of Remembrance -
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that in thy lifetime thou receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Book 3: The Book of Words –
Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Book 4: The Book of Acts/Works –
Mat 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then shall he reward every man according to his works.

And then the Final Book - the Book of Life:

The Self proclaimed " Prince of Darkness " will be standing in-front of the Great White Throne Judgement and be Judged by the "King of Kings" He worked against all his earthly Years.

Fear of Death makes you Grab on to the Truth , but it's not a Free Ticket to Heaven called the 11th Hour Salvation.

last-minute conversion to Christ

The most high-profile death bed / last-minute conversion to Christ in the Bible is the case of the criminal crucified alongside Jesus (Luke 23:39-43). Only moments before his own death, this criminal had been an unbelieving mocker of Christ (see Matthew 27:44). However, at the last moment the criminal repented and acknowledged Jesus as the heavenly King. The Lord gave him the blessed promise, “Today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” NOTE : Paradise is not Heaven , Paradise is a Place on Earth where Adam and Eve stayed before the SIN FALL.

Although the story of the criminal on the cross demonstrates that last-minute conversions may be possible, the Bible warns us to repent now, without waiting another moment. John the Baptist warned, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2). Jesus had the identical message concerning the need for immediate repentance, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17).

The Bible warns us concerning the brevity of the human lifespan. “You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away” (James 4:14). We are not instructed to consider converting someday, but to believe today! “Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts” (Hebrews 3:7-8, 14; 4:7). None of us knows how much time we have left in this life or what the circumstances of our death will be. We may die in a sudden, unexpected manner that will preclude a deathbed conversion. The only reasonable option is to repent and believe in Jesus Christ today.

Jesus confirmed the Only Entry too Heaven is Via Re Birth, Water Baptism and Holy Spirit Baptism . John 3 v 3-6. These steps cannot be excluded from Salvation, This was Made Clear by Jesus.

Many people die without having the experience of an extended amount of time on a death bed. Many people die instantly and unexpectedly, with no opportunity to trust in Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:2 declares, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”

Signs of the Times

Earth Is Getting Ready for the 5th Trumpet to Sound

The Pacific Ring of Fire is WAKING UP

Volcanic and seismic activity is rapidly increasing across the Pacific — and it’s no longer isolated.

  1. Klyuchevskoy just erupted in Russia

2. Mount Rainier in USA recorded its strongest earthquake swarm on record

3. Great Sitkin and Spurr are active in Alaska

4. Sakurajima is erupting again in Japan

5. Lewotobi and Merapi are stirring in Indonesia

6. Popocatépetl continues to erupt in Mexico

This is not a random cluster. It’s a pattern — a seismic chain reaction stretching across continents.

Even mainstream sources like USGS, Smithsonian GVP, and NHK Japan are beginning to report on the rise.

Is something larger building beneath the surface? We don’t know yet. But the signs are growing — and we’re watching closely.

Anti-Israel Mob in Greece Refuses to Let Israeli Cruise Ship Dock

An Israeli cruise ship carrying 1,600 passengers was forced to skip a scheduled stop at the Greek island of Syros on Tuesday after anti-Israel protesters blocked disembarkation.

The vessel, operated by Mano Maritime, remained docked as demonstrators gathered near the port, waving Palestinian flags and calling for a boycott of Israeli-linked tourism.

Witnesses reported a tense situation as approximately 200 protesters gathered near the entrance to the port, effectively blocking passengers from disembarking.
