Don’t Give Up , the End is Near  !!! Study Day 4

Even when you fall . You can RISE again

The apostle Paul understood the value of learning from the past. In 1 Corinthians 10, he highlighted events from Israel’s history to provide examples of spiritual realities and warn against sin. Paul wanted his readers to learn, just as Israel had discovered, that spiritual pride is a powerful deceiver and self-reliance is a great reducer: “Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall” (1 Corinthians 10:12, ESV).

Take heed is an expression that means “to watch carefully, be careful, be vigilant, or be on the lookout.” The word stands in verse 12 refers to “holding one’s ground, being steadfast, or remaining firm in one’s position.” Paul conveys the idea of a person who thinks he’s standing firm in the faith, but in reality is overly confident and self-deceived. “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!” says 1 Corinthians 10:12 in the New International Version.

The apostle Peter famously boasted of his death-defying dedication to Christ: “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death,” he said (Luke 22:33). Jesus’ reply was sobering: “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me” (verse 34). In other words, take heed, Peter, lest you fall. A few minutes later, Jesus tells Peter, James and John, “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation” (Matthew 26:41).

“Take heed lest you fall” is a warning to those in the church who are convinced of their own righteousness. These people should be careful as they may instead be poised to fall just as the Israelites sinned in the desert. God was displeased with the Hebrew people because of their overconfidence, lack of dependence on Him, and the evil cravings in their hearts. Therefore, “their bodies were scattered in the wilderness” (1 Corinthians 10:5–10).

The writer of Hebrews gave a similar admonition: “Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called ‘today,’ that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin” (Hebrews 3:12–13, ESV).

These Scriptures are not to be understood as proof texts for the notion that we can lose our salvation. Instead, they speak of those who might think they are saved yet, in truth, might not be. Jesus Himself cautioned, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” (Matthew 7:21–23).

Paul warned that, just as the Israelites faced trials in the wilderness, so too would New Testament believers encounter hardships and tests in this world: “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure” (1 Corinthians 10:13, NLT).

Sometimes we feel like our individual struggles are unique or beyond anyone else’s ability to grasp, but Scripture says trials are “common to man” (1 Corinthians 10:13, ESV). Moreover, “He who calls you is faithful,” says 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (ESV; see also 1 Corinthians 1:9, 18). We can rely on the Lord to provide a way of escape or the strength to endure the test. He knows what we can and cannot handle.

Often the “way out” is simply to stand up under the test while God works to strengthen and mature our faith: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything” (James 1:2–4, NLT).

One difference between true and false believers is that God keeps His own from falling away. He will bring them with great joy into His glorious eternal presence (Jude 1:24). Jesus Christ is the vine in whom we must abide (John 15:1–17). Because of His death on the cross and resurrection to life, we are positionally secure (1 Peter 1:3–12). In Jesus Christ alone, we stand firm (Romans 4:25; 5:1–2; John 10:28).

We, like the Corinthians, can learn from the past. Paul’s caution to “take heed lest you fall” calls believers of every generation to avoid becoming over-confident in our own spiritual merit. The only way to stand firm in the faith is to be born again of God’s Spirit (John 3:1–8) through faith in Jesus Christ and to depend wholly on His saving grace to keep us from falling (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–9).

The old saying goes, “You can’t keep a good man down.” Essentially, this is the meaning of Proverbs 24:16: “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again.” A person who trusts in the Lord and depends on God throughout his life may trip and fall over and over again, but he won’t stay down. He will overcome obstacles and challenges by God’s grace and strength, dusting himself off and rising again. On the other hand, “One disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked” (Proverbs 24:16, NLT). The ungodly have no power to rise above adversity—once they are down, they cannot pick themselves back up.

In Proverbs, the Teacher often compares two separate paths in life—one of the righteous and the other of the wicked (Proverbs 10:6–7, 16; 15:9). These two pathways lead to profoundly different destinations (Proverbs 10:28–30). The route of righteousness always leads to what is good, whereas the road of wickedness ends in ruin and destruction (Proverbs 11:23; 12:7). God’s Word promises abundant blessings and rewards for those who commit to doing what is right but warns against the disastrous consequences of wickedness (Proverbs 12:2–3, 21; 13:9, 21, 25; 15:6; 20:7).

In Proverbs, a righteous man typically refers to a person of strong moral character, emphasizing that he is “respectable,” “honest,” “principled,” and “honorable.” In Hebrew, the word translated as “falls” can mean “falls down” (literally) as in “no longer remaining upright” or (figuratively) “experiences disaster, tragedy, or ruin.” Rises again conveys the literal meaning of “gets back up after falling,” as well as the figurative sense of “overcomes adversity” or “becomes prosperous again.”

The significance of falling “seven times” could simply refer to falling frequently or many times. But the number seven is often a symbol of completeness or perfection in Scripture. It may illustrate here that, no matter how many times a righteous man falls and no matter if his fall seems to be completely and utterly irreversible, the setback is only temporary. He is destined to rise again.

Resilience is one of the blessings of those who choose right living because God is on their side. The Lord “directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand” (Psalm 37:23–24, NLT). Even when enemies rage against them, the righteous can say, “Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light” (Micah 7:8, NLT).

Another revelation to apprehend in “a righteous man falls seven times” is that the godly can expect to encounter trouble and hardship in life. God’s people aren’t promised freedom from worldly cares, losses, trials, or attacks of the enemy (John 16:33; 2 Timothy 2:3; 1 Peter 1:6–7; 5:8). Even so, the Lord watches over His children (Psalm 23). He promises to be with us in our trouble, to deliver us, and honor us (Psalm 91:15).

We can trust wholly in the Lord because He rescues us out of all our misfortunes (Psalm 34:19). God saves those who love Him and protects those who acknowledge His name (Psalm 91:14). The righteous call on the Lord, and He answers them (Psalm 17:6; 20:1). We may fall seven times, but the Lord hears our cries. He upholds us when we stumble (Psalm 145:14). He lifts us out of the mud and mire and sets our feet on solid ground (Psalm 40:2).

Believers don’t have to worry when evil men plot against them because God will raise the righteous person up from defeat time after time (Psalm 21:11). Likewise, we can’t let shortcomings and failures keep us down and discouraged. Our ultimate victory over every enemy, including sin and death, is assured through Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 15:56–57). We will make many mistakes in this walk of faith, but God will give us the strength to get up, start over, try again, and succeed. Although a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again.

Galatians 5:4 and its reference to falling from grace is one of those “warning passages” pointed to by those who reject the doctrine of the eternal security of the believer. But because of the biblical doctrine of the perseverance of the saints, we know the warnings cannot be directed at true believers in Christ because once grace has been obtained, believers cannot fall from it.

In Galatians 5:4, the context is Paul’s warning against mixing law and the Gospel to attain justification. He says to those who let themselves be circumcised (Galatians 5:2) that they are “trying to be justified by law” and have therefore “been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” It should be noted that there is no mention of salvation or the security of the believer. He is telling those who receive circumcision—in other words attempt to justify themselves through the rites and rules of the Law—that Christ will be of “no benefit” to them.

Paul expounds further in verse 3 when he says that “every man who receives circumcision” is “under obligation to keep the whole Law.” Why is such a statement important in regards to Christ being “no benefit to you”? Note what Paul says in Galatians 3:13 concerning Christ’s sacrifice: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us.” Taken in this light, along with a brief understanding of the Greek terms used, we can get a better understanding of what Paul is saying.

The two most important words in Galatians 5:4 are καταργέω (severed) and ἐκπίπτω (fallen). The word καταργέω does not require the “harsh” implications that come with “sever” in the English language, though it should not be taken lightly. In light of Paul’s words in Galatians 5:2 and how Paul uses the term in verses such as Romans 3:3, 4:14, and 1 Corinthians 1:28, a good way of understanding the term καταργέω is “nullify” or “done away with.” While the word ἐκπίπτω can undoubtedly mean to fall away from a previously held position, as those who deny the eternal security of true believers assert, in the context of this verse and how it is used in passages such as Acts 27, a good understanding of the phrase in Galatians 5:4 is that of “estranged” or “separated from.”

Paul warns against setting aside the grace that comes from Christ. Those who do have nullified, or run away from, the grace that comes through His blood and attempted instead to justify themselves by the works of the Law. The purpose of Paul’s letter to the Galatians was to warn against the Judaizers because they attempted to lure born-again Christians back to justification through the Law, which is impossible (Galatians 2:16). He reminds them of the freedom they have in Christ: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery” (Galatians 5:1).

Tea Time Manna

Live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.
—1 Peter 3:8

Unity and harmony are no accident! They happen because of intention and submission. More than just states of being we find along life’s way, they are commanded by God. We are to pursue them! How do we have unity and harmony? Peter reminds us we must have three commitments in our “family of faith” lifestyle:

We actively share our sorrows, losses, and concerns
We love and value each other as family.
We show compassion and humility with each other.
Rather than acting superior to others as they deal with their failures and loss, we are sympathetic, loving, compassionate, and humble. We recognize that we are vulnerable to the same problems, hurts, wounds, and temptations as our brothers and sisters who need us, and whom we need to be fully JESUShaped disciples!

Prayer

Father, I confess that I have let my oversensitive self be wounded and reacted with pettiness when my brothers and sisters in Christ have not treated me as I felt I deserved. I know Jesus was treated so rudely and shamefully by those he created and came to save. I know I shouldn’t be surprised when things don’t always go well for me. So, dear Father, please help me to know when to challenge those who wound me with a loving “carefrontation” and when to ignore the barb and find a way to minister to them because of some deeper wound that crippled them in their past. Father, let me be an instrument of your peace, harmony, grace, love, compassion, and unity. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen en Amen

The Geopolitical Tribulation Starter:

How the Israeli-Arab Conflict and Christian Zionism Impact the Global Church.

The intersection of Middle Eastern geopolitics, American political leadership, and biblical eschatology has sparked a profound debate within the global Christian community. At the heart of this discussion is Christian Zionism—a theological and political ideology that advocates for the political and territorial dominance of the modern State of Israel as a prerequisite for end-times prophecy. As the conflict between Israel and Arab populations intensifies, critics and traditional theologians argue that the world’s perception of Christian Zionism, frequently championed by political figures like Donald Trump, is altering the global landscape for Christians and shaping perceptions of the “Tribulation”.

Theological Background: The Mechanics of Christian Zionism

To understand the global impact, one must look at the core tenets of dispensational Christian Zionism. This framework suggests that:

  • Prophetic Timelines: The gathering of the Jewish people in the Holy Land is a necessary catalyst for the return of Jesus Christ.
  • The Tribulation: Before the millennial reign, a period of global distress and persecution—known as the Tribulation—will occur, during which the Church is either tested and there after Raptured at the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ
  • Unconditional Alignment: Political support for the secular state of Israel is viewed as a divine mandate, under the belief that God blesses those who bless Israel.

Critics, including many traditional and indigenous Middle Eastern church leaders, challenge this ideology. They argue that elevating a modern nation-state to a divine status distorts the gospel, labeling the absolute politicisation of the faith as a problematic doctrine that creates immense geopolitical friction.

The Alignment of Political Leadership

The global perception of Christianity is heavily influenced by Western political figures who align closely with Evangelical bases. Donald Trump has frequently been positioned by proponents as a primary political champion of Israel, moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and backing policies favoring Israeli territorial expansion.

For observers outside the West—particularly in the Arab and Muslim world—this tight alliance leads to a singular conclusion: the Western Church, represented by its political figures, offers unconditional backing to Israeli military and political actions. This blurring of the line between state policy and religious faith causes the broader global community to view Christians not as neutral peacekeepers, but as partisan allies in a bitter regional war.

The Impact on Global Christianity and the Tribulation

This political reality has immediate, tangible consequences for Christians worldwide, particularly those living as minorities in the Global South and the Middle East:

AspectImpact on the Global Church
Local VulnerabilityIndigenous Christian communities in the Middle East face heightened scrutiny, land pressures, and social alienation due to the actions of Western Christian Zionists.
Erosion of CommunityAncient Christian populations in places like Palestine and the West Bank report that unconditional pro-Israel policies accelerate the erosion of their historical presence.
Persecution and MisidentificationWhen Western political leaders link Christian theology to military actions against Arab populations, local Christians elsewhere are often misidentified as extensions of Western foreign policy.

For many believers, these escalating tensions are viewed through the lens of scriptural prophecy. The alienation and persecution resulting from these political alliances are seen by some as the beginning of global trials, shaping how the modern Church conceptualises and experiences the Tribulation in real-time.

A Divided Global Witness

The association of Christianity with geopolitical conflict has created a deep rift in the universal Church. While millions of Western evangelicals view unconditional support for Israel as a biblical duty, millions of other Christians worldwide—especially those in conflict zones—see it as a dangerous ideology that compromises the peaceful message of the Gospel. As the political and military landscape shifts, the global perception of the Church continues to be redefined by the actions of its most visible political allies.

What the Jews (Israel) doing against the Arabs will Impact the Tribulation of Christians , For they see The Political Leader of the Doctrine of Demons called Christian Zionism (TRUMP) as the Friend of The Killers ISRAEL. And this will Impact all Christians world Wide. And this is Happing Currently!

Please dear World, Know that The Christianity That Trump and His followers Bring is not real Christianity by a Doctrine of Demons called Christian Zionism. There is Real Biblical Christians that Know that this war is Leading to One – The Battle of Gog and Magog and there after World Tribulation of Real Christians, due to actions of Fake Christians Like followers of Christians Zionism.

NEWS MANNA –

Christian Physicians Are Being Screened Out By The Medical Establishment

Spanning throughout the U.S. and within the midst of the country’s medical education and residency programs, a silent ideological cleansing is occurring. For centuries, the Hippocratic Oath has existed as medicine’s north star of morality, an unwavering promise to preserve human life. Today, that honored commitment has become a career-ending liability.

Taking on the guise of standardized bioethics, accreditation boards and residency matching programs have begun systematically filtering out doctors who don’t fit the mold — largely those who are Christian due to their pro-life tendencies — all before they take their first step into an operating room.

What once stood as a respected tradition of statutory conscience protections, such as federal Church Amendments, is slowly being dismantled without Congress batting an eye. Rather, the medical establishment has come to rely entirely on subtle gatekeeping.

Months before a student even considers applying for a residency match program, the intense filtration begins in medical school admissions via Multiple Mini Interviews and contextual ethics scenarios. While made to effectively measure communication and empathy levels, these rubrics often reward compliance with secular criteria, framing moral objections by treating physicians to elective procedures as failure to demonstrate professional flexibility.

The pressure only grows once the graduate medical education level is reached, where specialty programs are required by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education to provide training in family planning and other elective operations. While federal law protects a resident’s right to refusal, exercising it often means risking administrative relations and peer hostility.

The statistics that correlate with this institutional coercion paint a somber picture of the environment that these faith-based trainees must operate. According to a national survey, 91% of medical professionals with a faith background reported that they would choose to leave the medical field before violating their conscience.

The same data reveals that close to 40% of surveyed residents experienced discrimination or workplace pressures throughout their medical training because of their moral convictions.

Research published by the American Association of Pro-Life OBGYNs (AAPLOG) reveals that while 93% of OBGYNs choose to decline to carry out elective abortions in a private context, residency programs penalize young professionals who have adopted these very same standards.

Dr. Christina Francis, CEO of AAPLOG, has issued a warning about the culture that young Christian doctors must prepare themselves to step into. Sharing that many students and residents are warned early on — both implicitly and explicitly — that holding traditional Hippocratic views on the sanctity of life will likely devastate their career prospects in specialists such as pediatrics. While protections exist on paper for their consciences, the institutional cultures treat them as red flags.

In efforts to counter this hostile environment, conservative lawmakers have acted in introducing the Defense of Conscience in Healthcare Act. The bill attempts to reorder the coercive “opt-out” mechanisms into an “opt-in” policy as it pertains to elective procedures.

When Christian physicians are quietly pushed out of medicine, the most affected victims prove to be the patients. Millions upon millions of Americans seek out physicians who align with them and their family’s moral convictions, and that small minority that honors the intrinsic value of every human life is slowly being rooted out. By conditioning medical admission upon secular compliance, the medical establishment has created an ideological monolith, one that has swapped out Hippocratic healing for ideological conformity.

Israelis Worry Next October 7 Could Come From Judea & Samaria

Israel was promised a peace partner. Now its military is being told to prepare for the possibility of fighting that partner’s armed forces in an all-out war. More than three decades after Oslo, that development deserves far more attention than another diplomatic statement about keeping the peace process alive.

On September 7, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed the IDF to prepare for “all-out war” if Palestinian Authority security forces or associated bodies launch an October 7-style attack—or Israel knows with certainty that they are about to launch one—against Israeli forces and Jewish communities.

Consider what that means. The institution the world has treated as the foundation of a future Palestinian state now figures in Israeli military preparations as a potential source of the very nightmare Israelis vowed never to experience again.

The question practically asks itself: What happened to the promise of peace?

Oslo’s Unanswered Question

The Oslo process rested on an enormous gamble: that empowering Palestinian institutions, including armed security forces, would produce a dependable partner and greater security. Israelis were asked to accept tangible risks in exchange for promises about what those institutions would become.

Decades later, Katz is describing a potential campaign against PA officials, security structures, and terrorist infrastructure. His announced response would include evacuations from areas used to launch attacks and an ongoing IDF presence in evacuated territory.

This is a devastating challenge to the assumptions behind Oslo. If the institutions built to support peace could become the machinery of an assault, their diplomatic status offers Israeli families no protection.

Yet the international conversation repeatedly returns to Palestinian statehood as though recognition itself can resolve the security problem. A flag, a United Nations seat, and another round of solemn guarantees cannot answer the question that matters most: Who ensures those weapons never turn toward Israeli homes?

For Israelis, getting that answer wrong carries a price no foreign diplomat will personally pay.

The Threat Next Door

Americans can easily miss the geography behind this debate. Judea and Samaria—the biblical heartland commonly called the West Bank—are woven into a landscape where Israeli and Palestinian communities, roads, and strategic high ground sit in close proximity.

For Jewish families living there, the security debate concerns the road to school, the drive home from work, and whether help can arrive before attackers reach their neighborhood. Along the territory’s western edge lie communities close to Israel’s densely populated center. Jerusalem is directly entangled in that same geography.

Distance buys time. Israel has precious little room for a system that requires every warning to be correctly interpreted and every response to arrive on schedule.

October 7 demonstrated what happens when attackers seize the initiative and communities are left waiting for rescue. Imagining that kind of failure on another front should force urgent questions about readiness, weapons, and the assumptions governing Israeli security.

The comforting language of a peace process means very little to a parent trying to hold a safe-room door shut.

The Most Dangerous Assumption

The failure of October 7 should have permanently discredited the belief that overwhelming military strength guarantees civilian safety. Strength matters only when it is positioned, prepared, and authorized to protect people before attackers overwhelm them.

Israel needs enforceable limits on threatening military capabilities, serious scrutiny of armed organizations, and defenses capable of surviving surprise. Personnel involved in terrorism must face consequences. Preparations for attacks must be disrupted before they become funerals.

International approval cannot become the clock by which Israeli families receive protection.

Make The Advocates Answer

Every government pressing Israel toward Palestinian statehood should have to explain how its proposed arrangement would prevent another October 7. Who controls the weapons? Who removes commanders involved in terrorism? Who intervenes if armed factions seize institutions or a future leadership abandons cooperation?

And who acts when the guarantees fail?

These questions belong before recognition and concessions, while Israel still has the ability to insist on answers. Postponing them until a crisis erupts transfers the risk from negotiating rooms to ordinary families.

For Christians who care about Israel, concern for peace must include concern for the people expected to live with the consequences of diplomatic experiments. A proposal cannot be judged solely by how hopeful it sounds. It must be judged by whether it protects life when promises break down.

Katz has put a grave possibility before the public. The responsibility now is to ensure Israel’s preparations are strong enough to prevent that possibility from becoming another national tragedy.

Israel has already buried too many people after assumptions failed. It cannot afford another October 7.
