Prayer Should Lead the Battle – Not follow the Defeat
Prayer before anything !!
Is it best to pray standing up, sitting down, kneeling, or bowing down? Should our hands be open, closed, or lifted up to God? Do our eyes need to be closed when we pray? Is it better to pray in a church building or out in nature? Should we pray in the morning when we get up or at night before we go to bed? Are there certain words we need to say in our prayers? How do we begin our prayers? What is the proper way to close a prayer? These questions, and others, are common questions asked about prayer. What is the proper way to pray? Do any of the above things even matter?
Far too often, prayer is viewed as a “magic formula.” Some believe that if we do not say exactly the right things, or pray in the right position, God will not hear and answer our prayer. This is completely unbiblical. God does not answer our prayers based on when we pray, where we are, what position our body is in, or in what order we word our prayers. We are told in 1 John 5:14-15 to have confidence when we come to God in prayer, knowing He hears us and will grant whatever we ask as long as it is in His will. Similarly, John 14:13-14 declares, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” According to these and many other Scriptures, God answers prayer requests based on whether they are asked according to His will and in the name of Jesus (to bring glory to Jesus).
So, what is the proper way to pray? Philippians 4:6-7 tells us to pray without being anxious, to pray about everything, and to pray with thankful hearts. God will answer all such prayers with the gift of His peace in our hearts. The proper way to pray is to pour out our hearts to God, being honest and open with God, as He already knows us better than we know ourselves. We are to present our requests to God, keeping in mind that God knows what is best and will not grant a request that is not His will for us. We are to express our love, gratitude, and worship to God in prayer without worrying about having just the right words to say. God is more interested in the content of our hearts than the eloquence of our words.
The closest the Bible comes to giving a “pattern” for prayer is the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. Please understand that the Lord’s Prayer is not a prayer we are to memorize and recite to God. It is an example of the things that should go into a prayer—worship, trust in God, requests, confession, and submission. We are to pray for the things the Lord’s Prayer talks about, using our own words and “customizing” it to our own journey with God. The proper way to pray is to express our hearts to God. Sitting, standing, or kneeling; hands open or closed; eyes opened or closed; in a church, at home, or outside; in the morning or at night—these are all side issues, subject to personal preference, conviction, and appropriateness. God’s desire is for prayer to be a real and personal connection between Himself and us.
After Jesus cleanses the temple, declaring it to be a “house of prayer” (Mark 11:17), He briefly teaches on the relationship between faith and prayer: “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:23–24).
Jesus explains that faith in God can move mountains, but doubt can hinder our prayers (Mark 11:22–23). Next, He tells His disciples that they can pray for anything, “and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours” (Mark 11:24, NLT). The verb believe here means “to put one’s trust in something.” It is the opposite of doubt or mistrust. Jesus is emphasizing the importance of placing our constant trust in God and relying on Him for the response to our requests. We must learn to entrust our prayers to a heavenly Father who “knows exactly what [we] need even before [we] ask him!” (Matthew 6:8, NLT).
To believe that you have received it is to have confidence in the fulfillment of a prayer before it actually happens. We can only do this when we depend wholly on God, the one who has the power to hear and answer prayer.
It is important to understand that when Jesus said, “Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours,” He was not giving us a blank check to have whatever we want. Since this was not Christ’s only teaching on prayer, we must weigh it against everything God’s Word reveals on the subject. For instance, in the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus teaches us to pray for God’s will to be done (see Matthew 6:10). The apostle John urges us to conform our desires and requests to the will of God: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him” (1 John 5:14–15).
Prayer is more than an emergency response in times of crisis. It should reflect our abiding connection with the Father, as we remain in His love and obey His commands (see John 15:7–14). Genuine prayer involves our continual communion with God and our worship of Him.
To believe that you have received it is the prayer posture of a soul surrendered to God’s will (Matthew 26:42; Romans 12:2), His Word (1 John 3:22), and His Spirit (Romans 8:26–27). It is through our fellowship with the Lord in prayer that our faith develops. Andrew Murray writes, “It is in prayer that we hold up our desire to the light of God’s Holy Will, that our motives are tested, and proof given whether we ask indeed in the name of Jesus, and only for the glory of God. It is in prayer that we wait for the leading of the Spirit to show us whether we are asking the right thing and in the right spirit. It is in prayer that we become conscious of our want of faith, that we are led on to say to the Father that we do believe, and that we prove the reality of our faith by the confidence with which we persevere” (With Christ in the School of Prayer; Thoughts on Our Training for the Ministry of Intercession, The Rodgers Company, n.d., p. 87–88).
To believe that you have received it involves a confident expectation that God hears and responds to our prayers even before we see any physical evidence of an answer. It is a call to trust in God’s promises (see Matthew 7:7; John 14:13–14; 15:16) and His character (Isaiah 26:3–4; Psalm 9:10). Rather than relying on visible proof, we rest in God’s faithfulness. We know we can count on Him to do what is best for us (see Romans 8:28). Believing our requests are in God’s hands brings peace and dispels anxiety. As we shift from a mindset of doubt and uncertainty to faith and gratitude, we thank God for the answers even before they manifest (Philippians 4:6–7).
The phrase repetitive prayer can mean a few different things. Depending on what exactly is meant by “repetitive,” there may or may not be a problem with repetitive prayer.
Repetitive Prayer—Mantras
Prayer that is repetitive in the sense that a person repeats the same phrase over and over as some sort of mantra or formula is not biblical. In Matthew 6:7 Jesus says, “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words” (ESV). The Greek word translated as “empty phrases” is variously rendered as “vain repetitions” or “babbling.” It refers to the use of the same words over and over or a nonsensical, idle babbling. To “pray” by simply repeating a word or phrase over and over is unbiblical. Prayer is not a magical formula, an incantation, or the determination to say the “right” words the right number of times. Prayer is not bead-counting. Prayer is a form of communication with the God of the universe made possible through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Vain repetition tends to give more credence to superstition than it does to the work of God. It is not our prayers or our word count that has power but the God to whom we pray.
Repetitive Prayer—Habits or Ruts
Praying the same thing often or offering prayers with similar wording might also be considered a type of “repetitive prayer.” For example, some people like to recite the Lord’s Prayer. Others have a set prayer list. Or they simply find themselves generally saying the same things to God in prayer day in and day out, due to having a natural comfort with certain phrasing and patterns of speech that come easily. There is nothing necessarily “wrong” with this type of prayer, but we are wise to consider our hearts. Are we truly praying, or are we simply going through the motions?
A helpful way to conceptualize prayer is as a conversation with a loved one. When our spouse asks how our day was, we probably share many of the same things day in and day out. That we repeat our words is not necessarily an issue; it just speaks to the routine nature of our days and our conversations. But when we only ever respond with “Good,” we know we have a breakdown in communication. The same can be said in our prayers. We can repeatedly pray the same types of things and even routinely use the same words. But, if they are just words, we have a problem. We want to actually communicate with God, not just mechanically recite phrases or speak by rote.
Remember that prayer is a privilege. We are granted access to God Most High. He isn’t an afterthought, and prayer is more than just a habit. We want to be continually in an attitude of prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and approach God’s throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). But we also want to be sure that we are paying attention to the One seated on the throne and not just saying words for the sake of saying words.
Repetitive Prayer—Persistent Intercessions
In one sense, persistent prayer can also be thought of as a type of repetitive prayer. All of us have prayer requests that we’ve prayed about for years: the salvation of a lost loved one, the healing of a broken relationship, or the forgiveness of a habitual sin. In the parables of the neighbor in need (Luke 11:5–10) and the persistent widow (Luke 18:1–8), Jesus encouraged us to keep coming to God with our requests. We “should always pray and not give up” (Luke 18:1). Persistent prayer builds our dependence on God and demonstrates our knowledge that only He can truly change the situation. It is a way to be honest with God and continually offer to Him the things that weigh on our hearts. In Christ, we are God’s children, and He cares deeply for us. If an unjust judge will respond to us simply because we keep asking, how much more will our righteous Heavenly Father respond to us when we keep seeking Him in prayer?

The Holy Spirit is God’s abiding gift, God’s seal, our anointing, and our promise of future glory.* The Spirit is our assurance that what God began with Jesus’ sacrificial death and our participation in it through faith and baptism, he will bring to completion at Jesus’ return. But the world cannot understand this great promise, just like it cannot understand much of Scripture. Without the gift of the Holy Spirit, their eyes only see what they can touch with their fingers and cannot fully see what is true in God’s heart and what God has revealed in his Word.
- The things said about the Holy Spirit come through clear statements in the Scriptures from places like John 14:18-23; Romans 8:9-39; Titus 3:3-7; 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:13; and 1 John 2:20, 26-27.
Prayer
Father, I thank you for sending Jesus. Jesus, I thank you for sending the Spirit. Spirit, I thank you for never leaving me alone. As I am filled with the Spirit, O Lord, so fill me more and more until my will and my life more perfectly reflect your desires and character, just as they were expressed in Jesus. Use me to bless others just as your presence now blesses me. Thank you, Jesus, for pouring out your Spirit upon us. Now, please motivate us to share your gifts of salvation and the Spirit with others so they can know the incredible plans you have for us! In your name, I pray. Amen and Amen

Rev 14:14 ~ 20 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. When Harvesting Grapes with a Sickle , The Grapes fall on the Ground , This falling of the Grapes = The unsaved happens when Jesus Christ places His feet on the Mount of Olives and the Earth Stops spinning / Rotating from 1000 miles per hours to instant 0 miles per hour. The Rolling action of the Earth and all the continents will act like a Wine press and Press all the Blood from the fallen world wide and hatter it at the feet of Jesus in the Valley of Armageddon.

TOTALLY UNFAIR – 2,293 Female Athletes Have Lost First-Place Medals To Biological Males
New research has revealed the stunning extent to which transgender-identifying males have taken over women’s sporting events, finding that almost 2,300 first-place medals have been taken by males. Women’s sports advocates say that federal legislation must be passed to once again restore a fair playing field for women and girls nationwide.
On Tuesday, Concerned Women for America’s Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC) released research showing trans-identifying biological men who have been allowed to compete in female sporting events have taken 2,293 first-place medals from women and girls in the U.S.
This has translated to women in professional sports losing $501,498 in prize money. The research further found that in Democrat-run states like California, over 611 women and girls have lost out on finishing first in sporting events due to males taking the top spot. All told, biological males have competed in over 14,300 amateur and professional female sporting events.
The staggering numbers come at a time when significant strides have been made at the state and federal level to protect the integrity of women’s sports. Over the past six years, 27 states have passed legislation protecting female sporting events from biological males — legislation that was upheld as constitutional in June by the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition, President Trump issued an executive order in February 2025 defining Title IX based on biological sex and threatening to pull federal funding from schools that allowed males to compete in female events and gain access to female locker rooms and bathrooms.
Several international sports bodies have also issued rules protecting women’s sporting events over the past two years, including the International Olympic Committee, the International Cycling Union, World Aquatics, World Athletics (which governs track and field events), World Boxing Organization, Union Cycliste Internationale, World Rugby, and others.
However, American sports juggernauts like the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) still have not put in place adequate measures to keep males out of women’s events, allowing an unknown number of biological males to compete in female categories — most infamously swimmer Lia Thomas, who took first place in the women’s 2022 Division I 500-yard freestyle event.
As detailed by sports attorney William Bock during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday, despite claiming to have amended its rules in February 2025 following President Trump’s executive order, “Current NCAA rules are not based on biology, do not use sex verification testing, and do not hold NCAA member institutions accountable for protecting women against male competitors.”
Bock further noted that despite the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) newly established rules intended to keep women’s events only for women, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s (USOPC) rules to follow the IOC guidelines do “not include prescriptive terms, timelines for compliance, or sanctions for non-compliance” for U.S. national governing bodies (NGBs).
This has led to NGBs including USA Biathlon, USA Cycling, USA Gymnastics, USA Racquetball, US Rowing, USA Rugby, USA Swimming, the U.S. Tennis Association, USA Triathlon, and USA Volleyball to enact “new but insufficient policies, containing loopholes that may allow men to compete in women’s sports.”
Experts say that despite the gains that have been made to protect women’s sports in the last two years, millions of female athletes, in particular girls at the middle and high school levels, are still being subjected to males being allowed to compete in their sporting events. Advocates say this not only compromises their physical safety, but also their human dignity.
“It is shockingly unfair for biological women to have to compete against trans-identifying men,” Penny Nance, president and CEO of Concerned Women for America LAC, stated following the release of her organization’s research. “… Biological men have distinct advantages over biological women. This reality not only puts women in harm’s way, but it eliminates opportunities for biological women to earn a living and win competitions.”
Nance further urged Congress to enact legislation protecting women’s and girls’ sports. “Congress should pass the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2025 (H.R.28/S.9) to prohibit federally funded school athletic programs from allowing males to compete in women’s and girls’ sports; the Protection of Women in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act (H.R.1028/S. 405) to clarify that sports National Governing Bodies must designate women’s sports for women only under their Congressional authorization; and The Title IX Clarification Act (H.R. 8781/S.5179) to clarify that, for purposes of Title IX’s prohibition on discrimination in federally funded education programs and activities, the term ‘sex’ refers solely to an individual’s biological status as male or female.”
“How many more women and girls will be subjected to an uneven playing field?” Nance added. “It’s time to put an end to this inherent unfairness and protect women’s sports.”
After Decades Of Debate, Scientists Are Finally Testing The Noah’s Ark Site
For decades, one of the most intriguing archaeological mysteries in the biblical world has been sitting in the mountains of eastern Turkey.
From the air, it looks remarkably like the outline of a massive ship.
Its length is approximately 515 feet. It sits in the region traditionally associated with Noah’s Ark. Radar investigations have detected unusual linear features and voids beneath the surface. And researchers have spent years arguing over whether the Durupınar formation is simply an extraordinary geological coincidence — or the remains of something far more significant.
Now, for perhaps the first time, the argument is moving beyond photographs and radar screens.
Researchers have drilled deep inside the formation.
And almost immediately, they encountered something they weren’t expecting.
A Different Kind Of Ark Expedition
The 2026 investigation is significant because this is not simply another group of amateur Ark hunters walking across the mountains looking for pieces of wood.
The project is directed by Prof. Dr. Cenker Atila of the Department of Archaeology at Sivas Cumhuriyet University in cooperation with Noah’s Ark Scans, and has received official authorization from Turkish authorities. The investigation includes GPS mapping, three-dimensional modeling, ground-penetrating radar, electrical-resistivity studies, soil sampling and now deep core drilling.
The Durupınar formation was identified from aerial photographs in 1959. Measuring approximately 157 meters — 515 feet — from end to end, its enormous boat-like outline has fascinated researchers ever since.
Genesis describes Noah’s Ark as 300 cubits long. The precise length depends upon which ancient cubit measurement is used, but proponents have long argued that Durupınar falls strikingly close to plausible biblical dimensions.
More importantly, Genesis does not say the Ark landed on the summit of Mount Ararat.
It says the Ark rested “upon the mountains of Ararat.”
Durupınar lies roughly 20 miles south of Mount Ararat, within that broader region.
For years, however, appearances could only take the argument so far.
Critics maintained that Durupınar was simply a natural geological formation.
So researchers finally decided to look underneath it.
They Drilled Nearly 60 Feet Down
The current expedition has drilled both inside and outside the boat-shaped formation, recovering core samples from depths reaching approximately 18 meters — nearly 60 feet.
The comparison is important. Samples taken outside the formation can provide a geological control against which material recovered from inside can be tested.
According to the research team, the drilling has already produced an intriguing result: they report recovering organic-rich layers and encountering multiple underground cavities, while saying that the holes drilled inside the formation have so far failed to encounter the continuous solid limestone or bedrock some geological explanations would predict.
Then one drill hit something else.
At approximately four to five meters beneath the surface, after drilling through the overlying material, the equipment encountered an extremely hard layer.
The drill bit broke.
Researchers have raised the possibility that the material could be petrified or heavily mineralized wood.
But that distinction is important: they do not yet know what it is.
Samples are being sent for laboratory testing. Until those tests are completed, “petrified wood” remains a hypothesis rather than a discovery.
Yet even without knowing what broke the drill, what researchers are encountering underground is making Durupınar more interesting rather than less.
The Cavities May Be Even More Important
The broken drill bit makes a spectacular headline.
The underground spaces may ultimately prove more important.
Previous geophysical investigations reportedly detected linear features, right-angle intersections, elongated voids and anomalies that researchers have interpreted as possible corridors or chamber-like spaces.
Now drilling has physically encountered cavities beneath the formation. In at least one case, researchers reported penetrating a void containing mud and water.
That doesn’t prove someone constructed those spaces. Natural geological processes can create cavities and unusual subsurface formations.
But it gives researchers something tangible to investigate.
And their next step could be fascinating.
They’re Sending In A Robot
The team has developed a specialized underground exploration robot appropriately named GOPHER — a reference to the “gopher wood” mentioned in Genesis.
The small robotic system is designed to enter underground spaces through boreholes rather than requiring researchers to excavate huge sections of the site.
Its most important equipment may be remarkably simple:
A camera.
Researchers intend to send GOPHER into accessible voids identified through radar, electrical-resistivity studies and drilling. The robot carries a high-resolution camera capable of recording what actually exists inside those spaces.
Consider what that could mean.
Radar produces interpretations. Electrical measurements produce anomalies. Core samples provide narrow columns of material.
A camera potentially lets researchers see the interior.
If GOPHER encounters nothing but fractured rock, sediment and naturally formed cavities, that will be important evidence.
But if it encounters repeated geometric structures, walls, compartments, beams or other unmistakably artificial features, the Noah’s Ark debate would enter an entirely different phase.
The Laboratory May Have The Final Word
The other major development will take place far away from Mount Ararat.
Researchers have collected extensive soil samples and core material that will undergo laboratory analysis. One account of the expedition reports approximately 1,000 soil samples from roughly 150 locations, with preliminary findings expected within months and a fuller report anticipated in 2027.
The project plans compositional, organic, mineralogical and stratigraphic testing, ultimately combining the results with radar, LiDAR, electrical surveys and other measurements to produce a detailed three-dimensional model of the formation.
This is where extraordinary claims finally meet measurable evidence.
If the supposedly organic layers turn out to be ordinary geological deposits, researchers will have to account for that.
If the exceptionally hard layer is ordinary stone, that will matter too.
But if laboratory testing identifies ancient wood or processed organic material where a natural geological model says it shouldn’t be — particularly if it corresponds with geometric structures detected by radar — the implications would be difficult to dismiss.
And that is why the current investigation deserves attention.
What Happens If They Really Find Something?
Noah’s Ark occupies an unusual place in modern culture.
Millions of people regard the Flood as historical. Others regard Genesis as theological mythology or a distant cultural memory built around ancient flooding events.
For generations, those two worlds have largely talked past one another.
Durupınar isn’t going to settle every question surrounding Genesis.
But something different is happening there now.
