“Fruits of the Spirit!”

Galatians 5:22-23 tells us, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” The fruit of the Holy Spirit is the result of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the life of a Christian. The Bible makes it clear that everyone receives the Holy Spirit the moment he or she believes in Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14). One of the primary purposes of the Holy Spirit coming into a Christian’s life is to change that life. It is the Holy Spirit’s job to conform us to the image of Christ, making us more like Him.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit is in direct contrast with the acts of the sinful nature in Galatians 5:19-21, “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” This passage describes all people, to varying degrees, when they do not know Christ and therefore are not under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Our sinful flesh produces certain types of fruit that reflect our nature, and the Holy Spirit produces types of fruit that reflect His nature.
The Christian life is a battle of the sinful flesh against the new nature given by Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). As fallen human beings, we are still trapped in a body that desires sinful things (Romans 7:14-25). As Christians, we have the Holy Spirit producing His fruit in us and we have the Holy Spirit’s power available to conquer the acts of the sinful nature (2 Corinthians 5:17; Philippians 4:13). A Christian will never be completely victorious in always demonstrating the fruits of the Holy Spirit. It is one of the main purposes of the Christian life, though, to progressively allow the Holy Spirit to produce more and more of His fruit in our lives—and to allow the Holy Spirit to conquer the opposing sinful desires. The fruit of the Spirit is what God desires our lives to exhibit and, with the Holy Spirit’s help, it is possible!

Bible Verse and Prayer for Today
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
—James 4:10
Humble yourselves…” That sounds almost obscene to a world so caught up in self-promotion and willing to do almost anything for “likes” and “views” in social media. This “get ahead at all costs” and this “look at me” driven culture of self-promotion is destroying our inner character before our very eyes. Humility is a forgotten virtue. Often confused with weakness or timidity, humility is really about knowing our proper place in the world and our eternal value to God without flaunting, promoting, and exalting ourselves. Only God can exalt permanently, so the key is for us to know our place before him and let him put us in the place he chooses for us to honor him and bless others.
Prayer
Abba Father, Most Holy God, NO , The ONLY Holy God thank you for allowing me into your presence because of your Holy Spirit and grace. When I think of all that you have done, the incredible universe you have made and hold together by your word, I am amazed you invite me into your presence and care about me. So, thank you! Thank you for knowing me and having a plan for my life. Please help me live with humility and grace before others today as I seek to glorify you in all the things I say, do, and believe. I trust my future and my influence to your grace, timing, and place. Through Jesus, I pray. Amen and Amen

Bible Teaching of the Day
Todays Study ” Chapter One of the eBook by Pastor Dirk = Not Just a Spirit !
Chapter 1: Introduction to the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, The Spirit of God, The Comforter known by all, The Spirit of Truth as called by Jesus Christ. The 3rd personality in the Trinity from Heaven, with God the Father and Jesus Christ the son of God as the other two personalities and the Holy Spirit as He arrived in Acts 2.
But the Trinity and this includes the Holy Spirit was present from day one of the Creation of the Universe and Earth as we know it today. Genesis 1 verses 1 and 2.
We can read more about this: The Holy Spirit in Creation and the Quickening:
John 6 verse 63 & 1 Peter 3 verse 18
The Holy Spirit empowered Gods people since the beginning of time for service.

Ezek 3 verse 24
The Holy Spirit was always omnipresent and involved in the omniscience of the Universe.

But in the New Testament the Holy Spirit receive more responsibilities and fields of service.
His role in Praise and worship!
John 4 verses 23 & 24; Romans 8 verses 26 & 27 and Jude 20
verse 21.
After the assent ion of Jesus Christ, He had to fill the comforting shoes of Jesus to us as the Christians.
He was now a Healer, Leader and Comforter. And had to operate via the Spirit filled Child of God too.
Mark 16 verses 15 to 20; 1 Co 12 verses 4 to 11 and Acts 5 verse 12.
All these were part of the Promises from the Prophets. And then the arrival of the Comforter – The Holy Spirit as per Acts 2 verses 1 to 4.
And suddenly the promise from God and Jesus come alive. Acts 2 verses 16 to 18.
We know that God the Father, Jesus Christ the son of God and the Holy Spirit forms the Top Management of Heaven. And every personality within the Trinity has a specific function or role to
play.
In this revelation from God we will learn the real role of the Spirit of truth.
The Holy Spirit is the high point of God’s presence within His new Temple – YOU and ME! (The Spirit filled Child of God).
Although He is omnipresent, He normally works behind the scenes of our lives and works 24 hours a day within us to create a clean and perfect temple for God.
And He uses tools like, the Word of God (the Bible) and Prayer to create and build a new temple within us.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a very dynamic process. Not only a once of process of breaking, building and comforting. And finally succeed to get us sin free and clean, to approve us for the Holy of Holies. The Capital of the Kingdom of God = Heaven.
For sin is not allowed in Heaven!
And the ultimate gift of this approval “the mark (seal) of God”.
Sealed for Eternity! Set apart as holy to the LORD!
In this revelation we will meet the Holy Spirit – The Spirit of Truth.
“Not just a Spirit”- the Title of God’s revelation.
I was born in a Christian family, attended Sunday school from a
tender age, raised up by God fearing parents. This teaches me all
about God.
At the age of 12, I moved over to the Pentecostal church, this religion pulled me, due to the love that was between the church members. I was suddenly noticed for what I believed in. This newly found happiness was Heaven to me. Praising and worshipping God with music instruments like, piano, drums, timberlines, and even clapping hands and dancing in front of the Lord.
I was drawn to this like a moth to a flame.
I accepted Jesus in to my heart at the age of 13 in the Full Gospel Church of God in Springs, Gauteng, in South Africa.
I only learned about the Holy Spirit (The 3rd person in the Trinity from the Kingdom of Heaven) when I started my Diploma studies in Theology.
The Churches did not really teach about the Holy Spirit.
I knew God – my parents gave me a foundation
I knew Jesus – He was living in my heart at that stage
But I did not know the Holy Spirit.
In my 3 year studies I learned about the Holy Spirit what I was taught by the Bible school and what I could understand from the Bible.
Only when I was baptized by the Holy Spirit, the word of God “The Bible” opened up to me. But again it was to study only that what was given to me in the past from the Bible School. Yes I
started my Ministry with the help of the Holy Spirit. But I was still not 100% satisfied with what I needed to know about this Great Spirit within me. I needed to find out more about this Comforter, God has send to me, when Jesus requested Him to come as the Spirit to live in my spirit.
There was still something missing, and I read every book there was about the Holy Spirit, Googled every article available on the Holy Spirit. I wanted to know everything about this Spirit of God that worked with but still separately from God and Jesus.
In my Ministry I learned more about the working of the Holy Spirit and the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit, The workings of the Fruits of the Spirit, The Holy Spirit within the Church of God, The Ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit that is a feast of Love.
I was always frantically busy learning. I wanted to know everything about this wonderful Spirit of God within me.
I had so many questions, but no answers. No book could give me any guidelines for what I needed to know. I wanted to learn everything about this Teacher, Comforter, and Leader in me.
Yes, in my Ministry I saw wonders and Miracles via the working of the Holy Spirit, Different ways of Baptism, what happens to a church when the Holy Spirit takes over, The Healing, The Wisdom, the Miracles, The Knowledge, the Faith and all the Gifts in working.
I regarded myself as an expert, I knew the Holy Spirit and how He operates, and I knew the Holy Spirit better than anybody I ever met.
If I hosted Bible studies within Churches, The Knowledge of the Holy Spirit poured out of me. This Bible discussion would continue into the morning hours of the next day. The church of God was and still is very hungry to learn about the 3rd person in the Trinity the Spirit of God the Holy Spirit. I had all the
answers- No – I did not- as I now write this to you.
But inside of me I still had a list of questions, unanswered.
I asked God:
“Please teach me more about your Spirit, I still need more info!”
Then from August 2012 God sat me down and for 14 Months, God gave me this and several other revelations.
“This is how the Baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place.”
Wow, what a revelation.
The Spirit of God is not just the 3rd and last person in our Great Trinity….
God the Almighty – The creator of the Universe
Jesus, His Son –died for our sins on a Gross on Calvary and arose on the 3rd day and ascended to Heaven to prepare a place for us, and one day coming back to collect His Spirit filled Church.
But now the Holy Spirit, the Spirit within my spirit, with us.
“Not Just a Spirit”
I had several questions about the Holy Spirit?
- How does the baptism really take place?
- How does the Holy Spirit decide who to give what?
- Why doesn’t everybody that was baptized by the Spirit, bear all the fruits of the Spirit?
- Why does some Children of God get more gifts and fruits than other?
- How does all this happen?
- Why don’t some Christians receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? What If I, as Christian never get baptized by the Holy Spirit?
- What does the Holy Spirit do for me, to inherit eternal Life?
All these Questions were answered by God in this Revelation.
This new revelation was always present in the Word of God but never pointed out to anybody.
We have to remember that nothing in the Word of God (The Bible) is there by mistake, every word has a meaning.
Every mention of something has a meaning and a purpose.
In this revelation we will learn about a new addition to our current theology.
- 4 Living Beings (Cherubim) moving with the Holy Spirit when the Baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place
- The Seven Spirit of God (the Sevenfold Spirit of God).
- The Seal (Mark) of God.
- The Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
We will understand the full purpose of the Trinity; we will understand key issues of the Ministry of Jesus on Earth. And the Ministry of His disciples and finally our ministry as disciples; we will know the Holy Spirit in full!
Not Just a Spirit – a new revelation from God.
Today’s Devotional
The world is presently under a curse pronounced by its Creator because of sin and rebellion (Genesis 3:14, 17). Along with everything else in creation, the children of God groan under the heavy weight of that curse (see Romans 8:19–23). This dark and broken world is all we know right now. But one day, the curse of sin will be lifted (Revelation 22:1–5). The newly created heavens and earth and all who are made new in Christ will bask in God’s glory (Revelation 22:1–5). Until then, believers experience a foretaste of that future glory: “For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies” (Romans 8:22–23, ESV).
Firstfruits is an Old Testament term indicating the first and best portion of the harvest, which God designated for Himself and His priests (Leviticus 2:12; 23:10; Deuteronomy 18:4). Here in Romans 8:23, the apostle Paul uses the expression firstfruits of the Spirit as a metaphor for God’s transformative work of the Spirit in His people—a work of sanctification that will eventually culminate in resurrection glory. We groan now because we live in a fallen world, but we know the best is yet to come.
At salvation, when we receive the Holy Spirit, we get a taste of the entire, all-you-can-eat spiritual buffet that will be ours in heaven when we come into our full inheritance as God’s children. Paul tells the Corinthians that God has “set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come” (2 Corinthians 1:22; see also 2 Corinthians 5:5).
Paul writes to the Ephesians, “When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession” (Ephesians 1:13–14, see also Ephesians 4:30). The firstfruits of the Spirit are equivalent to a deposit or a down payment from God providing the certainty that one day we will be given of our complete spiritual inheritance as adopted sons and daughters of God.
Having the firstfruits of the Spirit enables us to “lay aside every weight” of sin (Hebrews 12:1). It also allows us to endure hardship in our current state because “what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later” (Romans 8:18, NLT). We can be “pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed, . . . perplexed, but not driven to despair, . . . hunted down, but never abandoned by God, . . . knocked down, but we are not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:8–9, NLT).
The firstfruits of the Spirit empower us to “rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance” (Romans 5:3, NLT; see also James 1:1–12; 5:7–12). And we don’t give up or lose hope because, “though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” (2 Corinthians 4:16–17, NLT). We know with all assurance “that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us . . . to himself” (2 Corinthians 4:14).
The firstfruits of the Spirit remind us daily as we groan in this life that this world is not our permanent home: “For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. . . . [W]e want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life” (2 Corinthians 5:1–4, NLT).
One day we will stand before Jesus face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12). We will see Him, and we will be like Him (2 Corinthians 3:18; Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 15:49), and we will live with Him and serve Him forever in glory (Romans 6:8; 2 Timothy 2:11; 4:18; 1 John 2:25; 5:11; Revelation 1:6; 20:6).

Bible Prophecy, Signs of the Times and Gog and Magog Updates with Articles in the News
‘Tense’ calls between Trump, Netanyahu as Israel refused to join Board of Peace launch

Prime Minister Netanyahu reportedly barred President Herzog from taking part in the Board of Peace inaugural event amid “tense and difficult” phone calls with President Trump.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu barred President Isaac Herzog from attending the inauguration of the Board of Peace last week, according to a report published by Axios over the weekend, in order to distance Israel from the new body.
On Thursday, President Donald Trump led the inauguration ceremony on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
While Netanyahu – who was the recipient of Trump’s invitation to the Board of Peace – was not present in Davos at the time, Herzog took part in the WEF annual gathering.
According to two sources cited by Axios, Herzog’s office had broached the idea with Netanyahu of the president representing Israel at the Board of Peace launch.
Netanyahu reportedly shot down the proposal, barring Herzog from taking part in the event.
The report claimed that the Trump administration had tried to convince Netanyahu to back sending a representative.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, US officials reached out to the Prime Minister’s Office, suggesting that Herzog join the launch.
The sources cited in the report said that some of the calls between the White House and the Prime Minister’s Office were “tense and difficult,” while one source said the clash over Israel’s participation created tension between Netanyahu’s office and the White House.
Netanyahu, who did not travel to Davos due to the International Criminal Court arrest warrant against him, is said to have vetoed Herzog’s participation in part out of a desire to distance Israel from some of the board’s planned policies for the Gaza Strip.
The Trump administration had sought Israel’s participation alongside Arab and Muslim states in order to showcase broad support for the American plan.
The White House did not press the issue of Israel’s participation in part because the administration chose to focus its pressure on securing the opening of the Rafah crossing in Gaza, the report said.
Iran’s Khamenei ordered brutal crackdown on protesters ‘by any means necessary’

Units were deployed with shoot-to-kill orders, the officials said, and the number of casualties rose sharply in the days that followed.
Security forces across Iran were ordered to fire without restraint after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei directed the Supreme National Security Council on Jan. 9 to suppress nationwide unrest “by any means necessary,” according to two Iranian officials briefed on the instruction, The New York Times reported.
Units were deployed with shoot-to-kill orders, the officials said, and the number of casualties rose sharply in the days that followed. Despite widespread internet blackouts and phone disruptions, some Iranians bypassed restrictions to share accounts and hundreds of videos.
Footage from multiple cities shows the scale of the crackdown. In Tehran, gunfire came from the roof of a police station toward crowds below.
In Karaj, live ammunition struck a marcher in the head. In Isfahan, young men hid behind makeshift barriers in a narrow alley as shots and blasts echoed nearby.
The protests had simmered since late December, beginning with a strike in Tehran’s bazaar amid a worsening economy.
By early January, demonstrations had spread widely, prompting a lethal response from security forces. Medical staff and a nurse working in Iranian hospitals described scenes of overwhelming casualties, while photographs authenticated by The Times showed large numbers of bodies brought to a Tehran morgue.
Human rights monitors say the true toll may be far higher than confirmed figures.
The Washington-based Human Rights Activists News Agency reports at least 5,200 deaths, including 56 children.
Iran Human Rights, based in Norway, has verified at least 3,400 fatalities, with both groups cautioning that the final numbers could be two to three times greater as verification continues.
Iran’s National Security Council acknowledged 3,117 deaths in a statement, including 427 members of its own security forces. Senior officials, including Khamenei, blamed the violence on terrorist cells linked to Israel and the United States.
“This is not merely a violent protest crackdown,” said Raha Bahreini, a lawyer and Iran researcher at Amnesty International. “It is a state-orchestrated massacre.”
Iranian government officials say 30,000 + killed in protest crackdown

Death toll in Iranian protest crackdown continues to soar, with human rights groups estimating as many as 43,000 killed.
The death toll resulting from the Iranian government’s violent crackdown on anti-regime protests continues to rise, with reports of as many as 43,000 fatalities since the protests began on December 28.
Two senior officials from the Iranian Ministry of Health who spoke with Time on condition of anonymity in a report published Saturday estimated that around 30,000 people were killed in just two days.
The report did not provide figures regarding the total death toll since the protests began.
On January 8, the Iranian government shut down internet access across the country and severely limited cellphone coverage.
According to witnesses, reports by observer groups, and estimates assembled by healthcare providers in Iran, thousands of people were killed in a massive crackdown from January 8 to 9.
While Iran has officially placed the death toll at 3,117, human rights groups and opposition activists put the number of fatalities in the tens of thousands.
The Human Rights Activists News Agency, a Washington-based group with ties to activists inside Iran, has received reports of 22,490 deaths during the protests, including 208 pro-regime personnel.
Of those, the group has managed to confirm 5,459 fatalities.
However, according to data collected by doctors and other healthcare providers in Iran and forwarded to German-Iranian eye surgeon Dr. Amir Parasta, 30,304 fatalities had been documented as of last Friday.
In addition, 97,645 non-fatal casualties have been reported, with 30% of those injured suffering injuries to at least one eye, amid reports that pro-regime forces used shotgun blasts fired indiscriminately into crowds to break up the protests.
The Toronto-based International Centre for Human Rights in Iran claimed last Tuesday that at least 43,000 people were killed during the protests, with 95% of the fatalities occurring on January 8 and 9.
The center also claimed that some 350,000 people have been wounded in the crackdown and more than 20,000 people arrested.
WATCH: Middle East on edge as US firepower moves toward Iran
As a U.S. carrier strike group moves toward the Middle East, unease is growing in Iran amid reports that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been relocated to a secure underground bunker.
Iran has ‘finger on the trigger,’ head of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warns

Head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warns that the regime has prepared to strike Israel or American assets at a moment’s notice, as US deploys additional forces to the region.
Iran is prepared to carry out massive strikes against Israel and American assets at a moment’s notice, the head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned on Thursday.
In a statement published by Iran’s Nournews, an outlet that is close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC commander Mohammad Pakpour said the paramilitary force has its “finger on the trigger.”
“The Islamic Revolutionary Guards and dear Iran stand more ready than ever, finger on the trigger, to execute the orders and directives of the commander-in-chief,” Pakpour said, warning Israel and the United States to “avoid any miscalculation” with Iran.
“The US and the Zionist entity,” Pakpour continued, “must learn lessons from the past so as not to face an even more painful fate. We are more prepared than ever and ready to carry out the orders of the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, to the armed forces.”
“Iranian forces are at the highest level of vigilance and readiness for any scenario that may occur. Tehran will not hesitate to defend its interests and its security.”
“Tehran is ready to respond immediately in any situation in which an act of folly or a miscalculation is carried out by Washington or Tel Aviv.”
Pakpour’s comments come as the USS Abraham Lincoln, a nuclear-powered Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, and three destroyer escorts, make their way to the Persian Gulf, part of a broader American build-up of military forces in the region.
A day after Pakpour’s statement, a senior Iranian official speaking on condition of anonymity told Reuters that Tehran would treat any attack by the US or Israel as “an all-out war against us.”
“This military buildup – we hope it is not intended for real confrontation – but our military is ready for the worst-case scenario. This is why everything is on high alert in Iran.”
