Making Time to be With God / Maak tyd om tyd te spandeer in God se teenwoordigheid
All relationships take time. A relationship with God, while unlike other relationships in many ways, still follows the rules of other relationships. The Bible is filled with comparisons to help us conceptualize our relationship with God. For example, Christ is depicted as the bridegroom, and the Church is depicted as the bride. Marriage is two joining their lives as one (Genesis 2:24). Such intimacy involves time spent alone with one another. Another relationship is that of father and child. Close parental relationships are those in which children and parents have special “alone time” together. Spending time alone with a loved one provides the opportunity to truly come to know that person. Spending time alone with God is no different. When we’re alone with God, we draw closer to Him and get to know Him in a different way than we do in group settings.
God desires “alone time” with us. He wants a personal relationship with us. He created us as individuals, “knitting” us in the womb (Psalm 139:13). God knows the intimate details of our lives, such as the number of hairs on our heads (Luke 12:7). He knows the sparrows individually, and “you are worth more than many sparrows” (Matthew 10:29, 31). He invites us to come to Him and know Him (Isaiah 1:18; Revelation 22:17; Song of Solomon 4:8). When we desire to know God intimately, we will seek Him early (Psalm 63:1) and spend time with Him. We will be like Mary, sitting at Jesus’ feet listening to His voice (Luke 10:39). We will hunger and thirst for righteousness, and we will be filled (Matthew 5:6).
Perhaps the best reason for us to spend time alone with God is to follow biblical examples. In the Old Testament, we see God call prophets to come to Him alone. Moses met with God alone at the burning bush and then on Mt. Sinai. David, whose many psalms reflect a confident familiarity with God, communed with Him while on the run from Saul (Psalm 57). God’s presence passed by as Elijah was in the cave. In the New Testament, Jesus spent time alone with God (Matthew 14:13; Mark 1:35; Mark 6:45-46; Mark 14:32-34; Luke 4:42; Luke 5:16; Luke 6:12; Luke 9:18; John 6:15). Jesus actually instructed us to pray to God alone at times: “When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen” (Matthew 6:6a).
To rely on Jesus as our vine (John 15:1-8), we will need to be directly, intimately connected to Him. Just as a branch is linked directly to the vine and, through the vine, connected to other branches, so we are linked directly to Christ and therefore share in a community. We spend time alone with God and in corporate worship for the best nourishment. Without time alone with God, we will find needs unmet; we will not truly know the abundant life He gives.
Spending time alone with God rids our minds of distraction so that we can focus on Him and hear His Word. Abiding in Him, we enjoy the intimacy to which He calls us and come to truly know Him.

God ken die intieme besonderhede van ons lewens, soos die aantal hare op ons koppe (Lukas 12:7). Hy ken die mossies individueel, en “julle is meer werd as baie mossies” (Matteus 10:29, 31). Hy nooi ons uit om na Hom te kom en Hom te ken (Jesaja 1:18; Openbaring 22:17; Hooglied 4:8). Wanneer ons God intiem wil ken, sal ons Hom vroeg soek (Psalm 63:1) en tyd saam met Hom deurbring. Sonder tyd alleen met God, sal ons behoeftes onvervuld vind; ons sal nie werklik die oorvloedige lewe ken wat Hy gee nie.
Om tyd alleen saam met God deur te bring, ontslae ons gedagtes van afleiding sodat ons op Hom kan fokus en Sy Woord kan hoor. Deur in Hom te bly, geniet ons die intimiteit waartoe Hy ons roep en leer ons Hom werklik ken.

I don’t know about you, but my most difficult decisions are not about choosing between good and bad. I usually know what is good and what is bad, especially when bad involves evil. My toughest choices are when I have to choose between good, better, and best. My love for God usually overcomes my weakness and I choose good over bad. But unless I’ve placed myself before God’s word and surrendered my heart to him in prayer, I have a very tough time choosing between good and best. Yet I’m convinced that much of what God would love to do through us today goes lacking because we’ve settled for good when he longs to lead us to best!
Prayer
Gracious and Almighty God, teach me your ways and give me your heart as I strive to not only love you, but to know your will and have insight into your ways. Help me to know the best things to do today and use my time in the best way possible to live out your will in my work, with my family, among my friends, and especially before those who do not know Christ as their Savior. In the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord I pray. Amen and Amen

My moeilikste keuses is wanneer ek moet kies tussen goed, beter en beste. My liefde vir God oorwin gewoonlik my swakheid en ek kies goed bo kwaad. Maar tensy ek myself voor God se woord geplaas het en my hart in gebed aan Hom oorgegee het, sukkel ek baie om tussen goed en beste te kies. Tog is ek oortuig dat baie van wat God vandag graag deur ons wil doen, tekort skiet omdat ons vir die goeie tevrede is terwyl Hy daarna verlang om ons na die beste te lei!
Gebed
Genadige en Almagtige God, leer my u weë en gee my u hart terwyl ek daarna streef om U nie net lief te hê nie, maar ook om u wil te ken en insig in u weë te hê. Ai and Water

This “hidden” water footprint comes from direct cooling and indirect use in electricity generation, with large-scale training of models like GPT-3 using tens of thousands of gallons, raising urgent environmental concerns about resource depletion, especially in water-scarce regions.

How AI Consumes Water

Can Ai turn water into Blood Red?
So, while artificial intelligence is a powerful tool revolutionizing technology and even consuming significant amounts of water for cooling in data centers, it is not the cause of water turning red. The phenomenon remains rooted firmly in the physical, chemical, and biological processes of our natural and man-made worlds. The next time you hear a report of a river running red, it will likely be due to one of these fascinating and sometimes concerning reasons.
The Sun and Technology
While the sun is not a “bomb” in the conventional, explosive sense, it does produce powerful phenomena that can generate EMPs, specifically through solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs). These events create geomagnetic storms when they hit Earth’s magnetosphere, which can induce massive currents in long conductors like power lines, leading to potential widespread damage to electronic systems, including the sophisticated infrastructure that supports AI.
The Mechanism of a Solar-Induced EMP
The process begins on the sun’s surface, a seething mass of plasma where magnetic fields constantly churn and reorganize. When these fields suddenly snap and realign, they release immense bursts of energy and charged particles:
• Solar Flares: These are intense flashes of radiation, traveling at the speed of light, that reach Earth in about eight minutes. They can disrupt radio communications immediately.
• Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs): These are massive expulsions of solar plasma and magnetic fields that travel much slower than flares, typically taking a few days to reach Earth. When a CME impacts Earth’s magnetic field, it causes a geomagnetic storm.
This geomagnetic storm is what creates the EMP effect on Earth’s surface. The rapidly changing magnetic fields induce quasi-DC currents in long transmission lines and other conductive infrastructure. • Infrastructure Collapse: The primary danger is not necessarily the direct “frying” of every single chip globally, but rather the cascading failure of the massive power grids and communication networks that sustain them. Data centers, which house the servers for AI, require persistent, stable access to electricity.
• AI Specifics: An AI system is not a single, isolated entity; it runs on vast, interconnected physical infrastructure. The destruction of data center power systems, networking equipment, and cooling systems would render most advanced AI systems inoperable for a significant duration, potentially years, until the infrastructure can be rebuilt.
• Protection: Some electronics would survive if they were turned off, shielded (e.g., in a Faraday cage or underground), or simply not connected to long power lines at the time of the event. Older technology with simple, non-electronic components (like a 1957 car) would also likely be fine.
Historical Context and Future Risk
This is not a hypothetical science-fiction scenario. History provides clear warnings:
• The Carrington Event (1859): The most famous and powerful solar storm on record caused widespread disruptions to telegraph systems, shocking operators and even starting fires in telegraph offices.
• The Quebec Blackout (1989): A moderate solar storm in March 1989 caused the Hydro-Quebec power grid to collapse, leaving six million customers without electricity for over nine hours.
A storm of Carrington-level intensity today, during the current solar maximum period (expected to peak between late 2024 and early 2026), could have devastating, potentially apocalyptic, consequences for our technology-dependent society. The good news is that scientists are actively working on solutions, with AI itself being used to help predict these solar events, giving humanity more warning time to prepare.

The 2nd and 3rd Plaque of God’s wrath are Directed to Humans and Ai. without water not one of the 2 will survive. Water Turning to Blood Fresh or salty waters, is a Huge Problem for the survival of Humans and also for the Use of Ai Technology, without water Ai cannot Operate
Then with the Sun Exploding at the 4th Plaque of God’s Wrath, this Huge EMP Bomb will take out all other electronic equipment around and on the Earth that the Blood water did not Yet.
Leaving the Entire world without Technology, Electricity and Ai for at least 6 Months before the 2nd Coming of Jesus at the Battle of Armageddon.

Moderne elektronika, veral die sensitiewe halfgeleiertoestelle wat die ruggraat van rekenaars, datasentrums en KI-infrastruktuur vorm, is hoogs kwesbaar vir sulke kragstuwings.
- Infrastruktuurineenstorting: Die primêre gevaar is nie noodwendig die direkte “braai” van elke enkele skyfie wêreldwyd nie, maar eerder die waterval van die massiewe kragnetwerke en kommunikasienetwerke wat hulle onderhou. Datasentrums, wat die bedieners vir KI huisves, benodig volgehoue, stabiele toegang tot elektrisiteit.
- KI-spesifieke: ‘n KI-stelsel is nie ‘n enkele, geïsoleerde entiteit nie; dit loop op groot, onderling gekoppelde fisiese infrastruktuur. En elke eiland het gevlug, en die berge is daar nie meer gevind nie.
En groot hael het uit die hemel op die mense geval, elke klip omtrent die gewig van ‘n talent; en die mense het God gelaster oor die plaag van die hael, want sy plaag was uitermate groot.
Wat die toorn van God oor Sy skepping betref, is die hoof fokus van die 1ste Gedenkplaat van God se Toorn gerig op die mense op aarde wat die Merk van die Dier aangeneem het.
Die 2de en 3de Gedenkplaat van God se toorn is gerig op mense en Ai. Sonder water sal nie een van die twee oorleef nie. Water wat in bloed verander. Vars of sout water is ‘n groot probleem vir die oorlewing van mense en ook vir die gebruik van KI-tegnologie. Sonder water kan KI nie funksioneer nie.
Dan, met die son wat ontplof by die 4de gedenkplaat van God se toorn, sal hierdie enorme EMP-bom alle ander elektroniese toerusting rondom en op die aarde uitskakel wat die bloedwater nog nie gedoen het nie.
Die hele wêreld sal vir ten minste 6 maande sonder tegnologie, elektrisiteit en KI gelaat word voor die 2de koms van Jesus by die Slag van Armageddon.

A quiet time is an important part of a Christian’s everyday life, for this is when he goes to a comfortable and rather secluded place in (usually) his own home, where he can draw close to God with no distractions. It should be a place where there are no interruptions from TV, telephone, family member interactions or traffic noises, in other words, silence. A quiet time is a set-aside part of each day for a meeting between a believer and God. It consists of reading a part of the Bible of the believer’s own choosing, and praying.
Every believer needs a quiet time with the Lord. If Jesus Himself needed it, how much more do we? Jesus frequently moved away from the others in order to commune with His Father regularly, as the following Scriptures tell us: “Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, ‘Sit here while I go over there and pray’” (Matthew 26:36). “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed” (Mark 1:35). “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed” (Luke 5:16).
The length of the quiet time does not matter, but it should be enough time to meditate on what was read and then pray about it or anything else that comes to mind. Drawing near to God is a rewarding experience, and once a regular habit of quiet time is created, a specific time for study and prayer is eagerly looked forward to. If our schedules are so full and pressing that we feel we cannot carve out some time daily to meet with our heavenly Father, then a revision of our schedules to weed out the “busyness” is in order.
A note of caution: some Eastern religions that teach the principles of meditation include instructions on “emptying the mind” by concentrating on repeating a sound or a particular word over and over. Doing so leaves room for Satan to enter and to wreak havoc in our minds. Instead, Christians should follow the advice of the apostle Paul in Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Filling one’s mind with these beautiful thoughts cannot help but bring peace and please God. Our quiet time should be a time of transformation through the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2), not through the emptying of them.

‘n Stiltetyd is ‘n belangrike deel van ‘n Christen se daaglikse lewe, want dit is wanneer hy na ‘n gemaklike en redelik afgesonderde plek in (gewoonlik) sy eie huis gaan, waar hy nader aan God kan kom sonder afleidings. Dit moet ‘n plek wees waar daar geen onderbrekings van TV, telefoon, interaksies met familielede of verkeersgeraas is nie, met ander woorde, stilte. ‘n Stiltetyd is ‘n opsy gesitte deel van elke dag vir ‘n ontmoeting tussen ‘n gelowige en God. Dit bestaan uit die lees van ‘n deel uit die Bybel van die gelowige se eie keuse, en gebed.
Elke gelowige het ‘n stiltetyd saam met die Here nodig. As Jesus self dit nodig gehad het, hoeveel te meer ons? Jesus het gereeld van die ander wegbeweeg om gereeld met Sy Vader te kommunikeer, soos die volgende Skrifgedeeltes vir ons sê: “Toe het Jesus saam met sy dissipels na ‘n plek met die naam Getsemane gegaan, en Hy het vir hulle gesê: ‘Sit hier terwyl Ek daarheen gaan en bid’” (Matteus 26:36). “Baie vroeg in die môre, terwyl dit nog donker was, het Jesus opgestaan, die huis verlaat en na ‘n eensame plek gegaan waar Hy gebid het” (Markus 1:35). “Maar Jesus het Hom dikwels na eensame plekke teruggetrek en gebid” (Lukas 5:16).
Die lengte van die stiltetyd maak nie saak nie, maar dit behoort genoeg tyd te wees om te mediteer oor wat gelees is en dan daaroor te bid of oor enigiets anders wat by jou opkom. Om nader aan God te kom, is ‘n lonende ervaring, en sodra ‘n gereelde gewoonte van stiltetyd geskep is, word daar gretig na ‘n spesifieke tyd vir studie en gebed uitgesien. As ons skedules so vol en dringend is dat ons voel dat ons nie daagliks tyd kan uitsny om met ons hemelse Vader te vergader nie, dan is ‘n hersiening van ons skedules nodig om die “besig wees” uit te wis.
‘n Waarskuwing: sommige Oosterse godsdienste wat die beginsels van meditasie leer, sluit instruksies in oor die “leegmaak van die verstand” deur te konsentreer op die herhaling van ‘n klank of ‘n spesifieke woord oor en oor. Deur dit te doen, laat dit ruimte vir Satan om in te kom en verwoesting in ons gedagtes te saai. Christene behoort eerder die raad van die apostel Paulus in Filippense 4:8 te volg: “Laastens, broers, alles wat waar is, alles wat edel is, alles wat reg is, alles wat rein is, alles wat lieflik is, alles wat prysenswaardig is – watter deug of lofwaardige saak ook al mag wees – daarop moet julle julle gedagtes rig.” Om julle gedagtes met hierdie pragtige gedagtes te vul, kan nie anders as om vrede te bring en God te behaag nie. Ons stiltetyd behoort ‘n tyd van transformasie te wees deur die vernuwing van ons gedagtes (Romeine 12:2), nie deur die leegmaak daarvan nie.

Israel delivers the first operational laser air-defense system in history
According to defense officials, the system has already proven itself in an extensive series of trials, successfully intercepting multiple types of aerial threats under realistic operational conditions.
Israel has formally presented and delivered the first Iron Beam high-energy laser interception system to the IDF today, bringing laser air defense from experimentation into operational reality, the Ministry of Defence has announced.
The handover ceremony took place at the headquarters of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems in northern Israel.
The Iron Beam was produced following years of development led by the Israeli Ministry of Defence’s R&D directorate in partnership with Elbit Systems and other defense industries, including SCD and Shafir Systems.
Designed to intercept rockets, mortars, and unmanned aerial vehicles at short ranges, Iron Beam will be integrated into the Israeli Air Force as an additional layer of defense alongside Israel’s existing systems: Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow.
According to defense officials, the system has already proven itself in an extensive series of trials, successfully intercepting multiple types of aerial threats under realistic operational conditions.
What sets Iron Beam apart, however, is its combination of a powerful laser source with advanced electro-optical tracking and adaptive optics.
This, according to the MoD, enables high-precision engagements at negligible marginal cost, about the price of electricity instead of thousands of dollars per launch, dramatically improving the cost-effectiveness balance against mass rocket and drone attacks.
Defense Minister Israel Katz described today’s delivery as a ‘historic milestone,’ stating that, for the first time anywhere, a high-power laser system has reached full operational maturity.
He also said that Iron Beam ‘fundamentally alters the threat calculus’ and sends a clear strategic message to Israel’s adversaries that any attempt to overwhelm its defenses will come at a high cost.

Magog / Iranian President: We are in ‘full-scale war’ with US, Israel, Europe
Iran’s president declares Tehran is already at war with the US, Israel, and Europe, comparing it to the devastating years-long war with Iraq.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared over the weekend that Tehran is in a state of total war against Israel, the United States, and Europe, comparing the situation to the devastating war between Iran and Iraq during the 1980s.
On Saturday, the official website of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei published an interview with President Pezeshkian in which the Iranian head of state accused not only Israel but the US and Europe of seeking to destroy Iranian independence.
“In my view, we are in a full-scale war with the United States, Israel, and Europe; they do not want our country to stand on its own feet,” Pezeshkian said.
Pezeshkian said the threat facing Iran from Israel, the US, and Europe is “worse” than the Iran-Iraq war, a conflict which lasted nearly eight years and left hundreds of thousands of Iranians dead.
“If one understands it properly, this war is far more complex and more difficult than that war.”
“In the war with Iraq, the situation was clear; they fired missiles, and it was clear where we would strike back. But here, they are now besieging us in every respect, putting us under pressure and in tight corners, creating problems—economically, culturally, politically, and in terms of security.”
The president emphasized, however, that Iran is now “stronger” than ever before, and well-positioned to confront the West.
“Despite all the problems we face, we are now, in terms of both equipment and personnel, far stronger than we were during their previous attacks,” Pezeshkian continued.
“Therefore, if they choose to strike, they will then naturally face a more decisive response.”
The interview was published on the eve of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s trip to the United States, during which he is slated to meet with President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The report said that a Russian rocket sent the satellites to circle the Earth on a 500-kilometer (310-mile) orbit from the Vostochny launchpad in eastern Russia. The three satellites are dubbed Paya, Kowsar and Zafar-2.
The report said that Paya, weighing 150 kilograms (330 pounds), is the heaviest satellite that Iran has ever deployed into orbit. Kowsar weighs 35 kilograms (77 pounds), but the report didn’t specify how heavy Zafar-2 is.
The satellites feature up to 3-meter resolution images, applicable in the management of water resources, agriculture and the environment. Their life span is up to five years.
Russia occasionally sends Iran’s satellites into orbit, highlighting the strong ties between the two countries. In July, a Russian rocket sent Iranian communications satellite Nahid-2 into orbit.
Russia, which signed a “strategic partnership” treaty with Iran in January, strongly condemned the Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iran that came during a 12-day air war in June and killed nearly 1,100 Iranians, including military commanders and nuclear scientists. Retaliatory missile barrages by Iran killed 28 people in Israel.
As a long-standing project, Iran from time-to-time launches satellite carriers to send its satellites into space.
The United States has said that Iran’s satellite launches defy a U.N. Security Council resolution and called on Tehran to undertake no activity involving ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons. U.N. sanctions related to Iran’s ballistic missile program expired in 2023.
Magog / Iran arming ballistic missiles with biological, chemical weapons
Iran is developing warheads capable of delivering chemical and biological weapons via ballistic missiles, according to a report over the weekend.
On Sunday, the UK-based, Saudi-owned Iran International published a report citing multiple unnamed military sources who claimed that the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is pursuing the development of special warheads for its ballistic missile arsenal capable of carrying unconventional weapons, including biological and chemical weapons.
The move comes as Iran works to rebuild both its stock of ballistic missiles, which was depleted during the 12-day June war with Israel, and to expand the number of operational ballistic missile launchers it has capable of launching medium and long-range projectiles.
According to the report, the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the Aerospace Force has accelerated its work on unconventional missile warheads in the past few months.
One source cited in the report said Iran is pursuing deployment methods for chemical and biological weapons to create a “complementary deterrent factor,” alongside the country’s conventional ballistic missile arsenal.
The bid to arm Iran’s ballistic missile force with biological and chemical weapons is a sign of desperation among Iranian leaders over the possibility of a new Israeli-led air campaign.
“The Iranian leadership views potential Israeli and American attacks as a threat to its very existence and intends, in the event of a conflict, to significantly raise the cost for the opposing side,” one source said.
“The use of unconventional weapons can be justified in situations of existential threat.”
The report comes amid rising popular dissent in Iran as the country faces a devastating drought and deepening economic woes.
At the same time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to use his meeting with President Donald Trump on Monday to present options for a new air campaign against Iran targeting the country’s ballistic missile program.
